Lyft Direct, powered by Payfare

Overall, I am very pleased! I would love to be able to deposit a check with this app by snapping a photo, and it would be great if the rewards were instantly deposited into my account (although they are instantly available) vs. having to "cash them out", but even without those features, the app is easy to use, and I love how I have my payments instantly available without having to incur a fee! This looks like a good idea. I'm waiting for a hidden cost added to this app. A hidden fee. Otherwise it helps with my taxes because it shows ever transaction used. So anything Lyft related from fuel to food costs using this great application will save time on tax filing. It is surprisingly easy and helpful.

I've made only one transaction to an external bank account, and now it's been more than 10 days trying make another transaction to an external bank account but it doesn't wanna go through. I called lyft but they can't do anything about it. They don't even have a phone number for the Lyft direct pay that I can call to resolve the issue. Lyft team support says that there's a limit amount of transactions that I can't exceed which is 1000$/day. You are not free to move your money as you want!

The Lyft app is great although I really do wish it had an automatic login feature. I have to login with a password every single time and it would be nice if it had a box I could check that would automatically sign me in

Don't bother! If you are getting this for convenience or to save on transfer fees don't bother. You can't use it at gas pumps. You have to go in and pay making a 3 minute gas station trip turn into 10. Want to rent movies? Forget it! Not allowed. It's a waste of time and energy plus you are then pissed off.

I am very upset with this card. It doesn't allow me to use it at my credit union bank or ATM to get cash that I earned driving for Lyft for my rent. Pay fare is very difficult to contact. After calling and spending 30 minutes on hold, I was told there were too many calls by recording, and hung up on. I couldn't even use it to purchase a money order at the Post Office. I had to go to Walmart, and make 2 separate transactions with my Lyft Direct card to get the money for rent. BS

I've had a lot of cards in my day I've never had one quite like this it seems like after every purchase there's a little something waiting for me sometimes it's cents sometimes it's dollars. I saved a whole penny a gallon using the upside app I used the Lyft direct card to pay for the gas and when it was all said and done my Lyft direct card chose to give me a dollar back for the purchase of gas. Meanwhile the upside app gave me $0.04 back. You be the judge which one would you rather have

If I tell cs the transaction notification text is different from the amount showing up in the list of transactions I believe that's a technical issue. If I tell you I went to a hotel and was charged twice, that deserves empathy. They literally told me it was my fault for making the transition and they handle certain unauthorized transactions that I need to go read in the legal section. 3 different CSR. All were very careless I'm going to start recording my conversations & posting them

I just got an email telling me I needed to login to keep my account active. I've tried for months to do so... changing my password doesn't work. There's no way to connect anyone without being logged in. I need help ASAP to solve this issue.

I have never had more problems with another app. You decline transaction when there is money available! You won't allow me to transfer and waiting on hold for 30 Minnie's to talk to a live person who still does not know anything is ridiculous.

It usually works great, BUT 4/22/22 it hasn't been working at all. It said I had $0.32 in my account after working all day and it just destroyed my day... Later I went to the ATM and even the ATM said I had $0.00 in Checking, then it let me pull out $20 ... When there is an issue it would be nice for the company to put a Bulletin so Drivers (who are pretty stressed out already) don't freak out - this year has been hard enough. Side from that it WAS good.

Very easy to use and understand! I love the cash back feature. Only complaint is it's hard to find an ATM that accepts deposits. I went to 2 that were labelled available for deposits and they weren't. Oh and the card declines at the pump and has to be used inside. Living in NJ we don't pump out own gas, so the attendants get an attitude when I tell them they have to go inside.

I like that I'm able to choose to transfer a portion of my earnings to my bank account anytime throughout the week and use it for gas and Lyft expense only. Having separate debit cards has been a huge help in that case. When it comes to paying bills on my bank card especially multiple gas transactions during the day/week which can take 1-2 business days to post and with the Lyft card I get paid after EVERY ride so that's definitely a nice benefit for drivers.

I had a very good experience with the lyft card.i do lyft and it comes straight to yhe card no need to cash out on the lyft app I get every dollar I earn and with the right ATM won't be charged a fee and that's awesome I even connect it with other apps to transfer money just to save and its amazing I mean I have no complaints.

Few seconds after i activate my card, they already put a restriction on my account. I can't link my card to Google pay because they can't make a difference if I'm a legit customer or a fraudulent customer. This bank is a joke. I'm not even sure why their in a banking business. Incompetent people ! Their solution is to ask me to wait but they don't know for how long. Don't open an account with them. It's the kind of bank who will freeze your money for no good reasons.

I was in love with this app tell I got locked out of my direct account, and I keep trying to reset it and it doesn't work and u can't get in contact with anyone unless u have the app open but if u can't get in the app how can u contact anyone that doesn't make any sense, all I want is my account unlocked so I can check my balance and stuff like that!

Wish I could use the app. Had to reset the password and it will not allow me to. Still waiting for customer service to fix the app. 5 days later, still no response. I get emails that tell me that I need to activate the card, but how can I, if the app won't allow me to?

I love having Lyft Direct now. It makes it a lot easier to get paid the same day you work. It helps with gas and gas rewards. Plus I like having the extra debit card aside from my bank debit card. Now I use my Lyft card more so for my daily purchaes and gas. I like the cash back I get from purchasing gas, and it makes it easier to keep track of my gas purchases all together. The first couple of months doing Lyft without the card and now working my way into a rhythm with it, was worth it!

Whatever update was last done with this app is trash because every time I redeem my rewards the app crashes and I have to open it back up. There's a bug in it somewhere

Great way to make extra money when ever you need it. Take vacations on your time line. Get paid when you want or need the money. I like to save it up to use when I want something big! I love it!

Very happy with this app. It's so much better than the Uber alternative, and even better than a few banks. 10/10 recommend for and Lyft driver.

As a Lyft Driver and first time using the card all earnings go directly to your card when you complete a ride, I love it so much I never have to cashout anymore. It's Definitely a must have card for Drivers with Lyft! 🙂

Get paid right after you drop the customer off. Works great with transferring money can do it instantly for a fee or 1 to 2 days without.

App is direct and simple to use. A great way to get automatic payments for Lyft rides and I love being able to set aside money in the app.

Loving it. 10$ cash back in my first couple days of using. And my money instantly posting is a huge bonus. Now, if the card were only metal it would be perfect! ;) Love the color of the card though

Normally the app works perfect, recently in this last week it's been having issues updating my balance. Other than that, it's great!

The app is great but everytime I claim my rewards the app crashes. Other than yhat the app runs smooth. I'm very pleased with it.

Great app and Great Card! Never had a single problem with them, ACTUAL FREE atm locations and easily found through the app. Nothing but good things.

I enjoy getting paid for every ride right after dropping off passengers. It comes in handy if I'm low on gas I can just to of my tank right away. I also enjoy that it always me after every use so I know my money is protected.
