I like the app, it works BUT...... they need to have some type of offline tracking option that you have to load onto their servers when you have a signal. Reason why I say this is I live out in the country, and also work in the country. I go on walks, dog walks, and do tons of walking at work. But, I get spotty signals. It's not from a poor carrier, just a lack of carriers in my area. Because of this, less than half my information is recorded due to loss of signal, meanwhile my phone says I've walked a total of 4 miles so far. There's nothing wrong with the app, it works. It just doesn't work for my area for the fact you need a steady signal. If an option was somehow made for offline tracking, later to be uploaded, it would be perfect. But for us folks living out in the sticks, no such luck.

App constantly cheats you on steps and sometimes entire challenges. When applying steps never do it unless you have the full amount. Reminders are annoying at best. They always let me know when challenges are over (after it's too late to join). Would be nice if that feature worked as there seems to be no indication of when each challenge starts or ends. If there is, it's not clear where that info is contained. I used the app daily, now its random since it's not worth the effort at times

Works well enough, but your steps can only complete challenges for the points, they don't earn you anything themselves. By that, I mean, once you have the steps to complete every challenge, there's no incentive for further activity. Fairly disappointing, especially with how much anything interesting costs. 3 years or so of daily use for a new phone, for example.

I'm enjoying the app so far! it's easy to use, and I find it motivating. I already walk a good bit, but this encourages me to walk a little more. I also like their short messages and titles for each challenge. I love that you can just use your steps from your phone pedometer instead of always having to use data and battery, and that also lets you count the distance you walk inside.

It's a nice walking app and works fine for the most part. However I had to turn off notifications because I was getting them constantly. Also I've been with this app for probably half a year and the rewards are getting worse. They give coupon codes as rewards which can easily be looked up online. The other rewards are for an obnoxious amount of coins

Uninstalled... I really liked the app originally. However, recently they removed everything from the store except for the coupons. Now there is no reason to earn the LYM, because I was using the electronics in the shop as motivation and a goal to keep active and try to complete as many of the daily challenges as I could. This is really disappointing.

Great concept. Used to have ZERO ads or promotional deals/ads, which was nice. I'm not enjoying the new addition of ad-driven challenges. Not enjoying the major push to use Samsung Health. I used to have Pacer and Google Fit synced with no issues. Since switching to Samsung Health, it doesn't sync properly so I'm daily losing literal miles worth of steps (5,000 steps or more) of credit because it doesn't sync up properly until you open the actual Lympo app. Not as great as it once was for sure.

It's a no for me. Good idea that I think has potential, but... Most everyone who tracks this type of activity uses a fitbit or garmin device. I don't want to use another app when it could be easily sync'd from a device I already use. Hope you can update the app (soon) to use data that is already readily available. I'll be sure to give it another try when and if you do. Out of curiosity, I checked the app again today (12/30/19). Still no support for fitbit or garmin.

I don't like the concept of this app. You have to complete each challenge individually which is just a ton of annoying steps. The app keeps your step count for the day (which just data pulls from my Google fit app) but you have to go in before midnight every day to use a prescribed number of steps on each challenge. If this is their idea of motivation I disagree, I just find it annoying.

This app runs very sloooowly. Why do I need 1-2 minutes to load the app, join a challenge and start a challenge and then another minute or two when the challenge is done? I just want to start the app and go instead of standing on the corner looking lost before and after every run. Optimize the app for faster loading or incorporate a simple widget and I'll keep using it, otherwise it's getting deleted.

Very disappointed. I've been using the app for months to save up for either a pair of shoes or beats headphones and when I checked the store today almost everything is gone. You can basically just get discounts with points now instead of getting a whole product. Now I feel like I've been wasting my time using this app when I could have been using a different one this whole time.

I use it all the time, it takes a lot of work to rack up points but I'll be able to get some shoes in.....a year or two lol. It does motivate me to keep moving even still. there have been several bugs over time but the support team is usually helpful. they haven't always reimbursed my points when there is a problem uploading data.

Chr. R. Jul 17, 2020

The steps for coins is a nice motivator and easy to do though also easy to forget about. The issue is that the rewards are not worth it. I don't mean they cost too much but that there really isn't anything that is even worth using the points on at all. They need to bring back the gift card options for things like Amazon that they used to have.

When I first started using this app in August 2019, it was fun and motivated because you get reward for variety of goods in store. Now all the goods are gone, they replaced nothing but craps and discount coupons. Nothing I see in store worth my attention. If you're just looking for motivation for fun, maybe this is for you. But don't bother to look for anything in the store. It's totally worthless. Not worth to install in my opinion.

cool idea to make me move more. it's unlikely that I will get enough points for anything substantial, but it still motivates me to take extra walks. a fun game like approach. the app is not without kinks and occasional freezes, but I hope it will improve in the future. and customer service is very quick and helpful! Fitbit connectivity would be amazing. solid 4 stars.

Too many ads, prizes are worthless for me. UNINSTALLING. Getting worse with every update. What have you done with a well working app during last updates??? Why have you separated tracking abd using steps options? Can you imagine, how annoying and frustrating is disconnecting and connecting again tracker? And where the hell challenge timer has gone? I wouldn't start a 5km challenge, if it ends in 10mins, but now I don't see when it ends! Used to be a great app, but now it's a disappointment...

As I use the app more, complete challenges diligently every day, hoping to actually accumulate enough points to get some headphones I could never afford as a single mom....the "price" or amount of coins needed to get things increases...so it just becomes more and more out of reach. At this point, I'm just keeping the app because I walk so much, maybe some day, in multiple years I'll actually be able to get something with my points. I think something fishy is going on with this app though.

Sar. V. Jun 22, 2021

This used to be a great app, but it seems like somewhere along the line, it changed. No more items for purchase in the store, just coupons for sports bras and wireless chargers. Uninstalled, not worth the effort it takes to constantly log in to turn in steps before the challenges expire when you're working towards a coupon you don't want or need.

Krs. N. Jun 28, 2020

I used to loved the app when the store had cool gadgets, I still use the app and I collect coins but for nothing except for the accomplished feeling and the benefit of getting in shape, but the motivation of rewards in the form of cool things is gone. Please bring back the nice gadgets or I will have to find another app. If you do, I may consider changing my rating. Thank you!

This app is good at tracking the distances you've walked and motivated you with incentives. The down side to this app is that once you've collected enough lym, none of the rewards (gift cards) I'm interested in are in stock. Update: It appears that gift cards are no longer available in the store. Additionally, almost everything else will take years to acquire.

Dee. J. Aug 12, 2019

its cool, but i wish they would list how long you have to complete a challenge because i waste time and energy to build up steps to complete it, and sometimes the challenge is over before I can complete it and i loose the steps and dont receive the points which just sucks overall and makes me feel like I failed. also it would be nice to to an overall track of all steps daily.

Tro. H. May 8, 2019

I like this app so far! My only critique is that it won't track my progress with challenges while my phone is locked, or even while I'm using another app such as Google Play Music. I basically have to keep my phone awake in order to get an accurate reading of the distance I've walked or run, otherwise it'll only take the displacement.

Sam. T. Mar 11, 2020

I have been using the app starting February or March of 2019. The connection to Garmin still doesn't exist, so I need to carry my phone with me for steps. GPS sometimes work, sometimes doesn't and make it appears like I'm walking through buildings. They removed the gift cards, making it possible only for Samsung users to "cash out". You can buy stuff in app store, but it's ridiculous. I have challenges I've completed not updating for the last couple of days, and support has error message.

Nik. B. Feb 16, 2019

I am new to this app, have only been using it for a few days and I only walk recreationally but have already earned over 100 Lym tokens! Sometimes I forget to track my movement and trade in steps at the end of the day, a reminder notification would be helpful. Also sometimes the app does not accurately track my progress and it does not sync with my smartwatch, only with Google Fit, but besides those issues, I like the layout and the app is easy to use and the challenges are not too difficult

Jil. P. May 9, 2019

Since the latest update it will no longer work with my Google fit and GPS isn't recognized even though they are both on. It keeps telling me to go to settings and turn it on when it is already on. I uninstalled and re-installed and it worked once then said to go to settings again. I like the program but not if it will not recognize my steps. Edit: Took my phone to Verizon and they fixed it for me. Good to go now :)

I have used this app for two months. Tried to like it and make this app work. However, there's too many flaws that I can't accept, continue wasting my time and effort. 1st, it cheats me on my steps counts. It's like they don't want me to succssfully complete a challenge. 2nd, the challenges gives out very small points for a lot of steps. Takes a long time to save up. It's going to take you years. 3rd, they lied about having Amazon gift card as reward. Digital reward is 30% off coupon.

Mar. Nov 17, 2019

I thought this app would be a good way to stay motivated to walk/run more, earn points toward rewards. This app will not sync with Fitbit which I already have. It only uses the Samsung step tracker on my phone, but that requires I pack my phone everywhere which I don't. After last update it wont even connect to that anymore. To little gain for so many issues.

Mig. A. Jul 9, 2020

This latest update is horrible, don't update unless you want random ads popping up. It used to be that the ads were there and you could either see them or scroll past them in the tasks tab. Now, there's ads after finishing up tasks or just random ones while using the app. I hope they update the shop as well if we are going to get bombarded with ads because the products are dismal. When I joined Lympo they had watches, shoes, headphones, etc., in other words they had prizes that were motivating.

it's been around a month of using app: runs smooth, great user interface, love daily challenges and Google step integration! But the two things I hope they would improve is 1) walking accuracy 2) more long distance challenges. *I recently ran marathon w/ phone, app said I only ran 20 miles, and I could only use a fraction of those miles for challenges:(

Sam. L. A. Jan 2, 2019

Great App for motivation. My sister and I are constantly challenging each other to beat fhe challenges. There is two things I wish were different 1- I wish you would get a extra reward for completing all the daily challenges like 10 points (nothing huge). 2 - seamless tracking between challenges (so i dont have to stop mid exercise to switch challenges.
