Works well, but when you try to close the app you get not one, but TWO short commercials for games. It locks you on that screen for about 5 seconds then you can X out, but then that takes you to ANOTHER commercial. You're locked on that till the X out option appears. Super annoying. Usually people that have a picture vault are hiding things and may need to X out FAST, if you know what I mean. This app doesnt allow that. I get that they need to make money, but isnt there a better way?
THIS IS THE WORST PHOTO LOCKER APP EVER!!! Supposedly, once you hide your photos/videos within the app, they're automatically uploaded to apps "cloud" where they're recoverable. However, randomly without rhyme or reason, multiple photos/videos will just disappear from the app, then when you try to recover them, it just won't work. Wifi or not. GONE FOREVER. Buhbye.... Total f'n BS. And this has happened 3 times now!!
DO NOT INSTALL OR USE!! Been using this app for months until one day all data was gone. Attempts to login result in saying email already exists. Been waiting for a fix for weeks. Everything is just gone. EDIT: Weeks later, decided to reinstall to see if things were fixed. They were. Reclaiming photo albums to use in another app thoug, to prevent future potential loss again. Other than the hiccup, Lynx has served as a nice app that closes itself as quickly as possible and hides contents well.
September 16 2019 and the problem has not been fix. It's not my intention to create a new account or upgrade to 10 GB and lose all my pictures and videos, the issue has not been resolved. I'm still getting "UNUSUAL ACTIVITY " and can clearly see my albums but then it appears a message that states I have to log in, I do so and can't see any of my albums its completely empty. Please fix Lynx and do not respond with a generic statement.
I really really like it but can you guys please include a automatic downloader because I'm tired of going through each video and photo just to load it, and to open the gallery and the folders faster! also the new edit is not it sorry..... it doesn't save your pictures and I don't want to give permission to eveurthing I decide to add to a folder ;_;
I have saved 1000 of pictures in this app. I just saw that this app is going to shut down from 1 July and i saw ut today on 5th july. I'm not able to see my pictures or I can't save it on my mobile. I'm getting connection error. Please fix this. Once the data is saved perfectly then you can shut it down. I honestly don't want u to shut this app down. This app is fabulous but I'm facing issue now and please fix the error so we can get our pictures. I will appreciate it. It was important data.
It is obviously a very good app for securing your precious pictures and videos...like the calculator camouflage ❤❤... But a few problems are there.. It often says that "lynx has stopped working" (Bugs should be removed) and I think that it will be great if it is possible to have an edit option to edit the pics a little... Otherwise great app👌
App was great until the recent connection issues. I trusted this app with important pictures and seriously hope they don't bail on getting this back online. I would be extremely disappointed. They say it'll take 2-3 days but it's already been 2-3 days. Officially worried and giving 1 star until it's fixed and we all have our personal property back.
I've been using Lynx for quite some time. Recently, I encountered a problem after I updated my Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro to the latest software update. Every time I try to send pictures to Lynx, I get this message that "something went wrong", "due to your device permission" and so on. Transfering pictures is not a problem since it is in my Lynx library but videos on the other hand, they will outright unplayable in my Lynx library after a transfer. Can you please look into this problem?
I can not import photos that have been archived to Google cloud it just keeps saying failed. No other info just, Import failed. I have been trying to make this work by sending my self the picks by WhatsApp, messenger, import. In the process sent unintended pictures to wrong phone number. So the whole idea of this app of security in my pictures was totally undermined by the inability to import simple pictures I will just go back to a printer and a lock box. Not worth time
This is a new rate. This app it's useful, very useful and very safe about the people who round you. But this app often (it's servers) has problems. In my own experience, I had problem to login and I couldn't save and use some files a few weeks ago and I needed it. This is a good app, I advice use this app and other for keep save your files though.
I have been using this app for a long time now (about 2 years). The data was always available on cloud. Recently I deleted the app from my phone and when I installed it again and logged in via Facebook (like I always do), all of my data was gone. The vault is showing empty. Please help. This is very upsetting. It was very important. Is there any way to retrieve?
I used the app till July of last year. Then later I was able to login but the app didn't show my photos and videos. I have tried for last few months. And now I think the app is back. I want my pics and videos. The app still recognises my mails but shows connection error what should I do. Help me please. Please help me. Opened the app. Got unusual activity. Been asked to log in again. Tried to login and got email invalid. Tried to sign up again it created a new account. Lost 5 gb of personal data. Not worth it. Still don't know if the data is permanently deleted or still stored in the server cloud.
Best app .U can add multiple id with the same app a/c to ur need .u can logout or uninstall the app after it uploaded to cloud. They have all the facilities without any cost. I just wonder why it doesn't come on the top of list when we search for such apps. Bt d saddest part is they r closing ds app because of finanicial issues. Now i m looking for an app who can give me service like this. But no app is there .Either u have to pay for cloud backup or it take space on your phone memory. Loved it
Please help..!! I reset my phone and now while im trying to log in to my account using google sign in, it gives that the email address aleady exists, and makes me log in with the email address not as google account but as email and password with no storage used, so all of my backed up photos are gone and i cant see them... I sent you an email with all the details and screen shot of the error message showing my storage please help..!! It's solved, thanks a lot.. 🥰 Will leave this for others.
Very disappointed, i'm using this app since last 3 years. I stored all private data of mine, it was so good, but yesterday something went wrong and unable to access my account and shows the error i.e loggin issue, i tried forgot to password and access the account, but all the data included 3k to 3.5k photos and videos have been lost. Please if u can do something for this issue.kindly request u to fix this issue and give back my all data i lost. Please
I placed my trust in this app, it was working great until i received an error after i logged in successfully and it deleted all my pics. Everything is gone! I sent an email asking what happened and have not heard back. Do not trust this app.
When I'm going to log in BY FACEBOOK. It's always showing that ( EMAIL ALREADY EXISTS ). Fix this bug as soon as possible i have saved thousand worth of documents,pictures,vedios etc . Almost have 5 GB data stored in lynx . I don't want to loose any of my data plz fix it
Very disappointed in this app. DO NOT USE THIS APP!! When I log in and tells me connection error try again later. I have been trying for days now. I even emailed the company and got no response. Not sure what else to do. Seems like my pictures are gone forever.
I am using this app from last 3 years.yesterday got Notification saying 'UnusualActivity" then got logged out of my account tried signing back and keep getting a error saying Email already exist Can't access my photos anymore started reading reviews see if other people were having the same problem. This App is broken now DO NOT Download if you want to lose all your conteit, major disappointment and no way of retrieving my content now. Kindly draw your attention towards it and fix it please.

I love the options, but for whatever reason, my photos are upside down, sideways etc. Im waiting to hear back from the creators after leaving feedback. Right now Keepsafe seems to use my photos in the proper way.
This app was great. Then 2 days ago, it suddenly says "Connection error. Please try again later." I deleted the app and redownloaded it in the hopes that that would fix it. It did not. I have almost 6 gb of memories that I had not yet transferred to my laptop, because I thought they were 'secure'. Unless I receive a reply from the developers stating otherwise, those pictures are GONE. If not planning on reopening the app, PLEASE send previous users their saved content through email or something!
