Lyrica

《Lyrica》is a rhythm game combined classic poems and modern musics, in addition to classic styled narratives.

The story portrays a young man Chun who wants to become a musician. One night he has a dream of traveling to the ancient past in China and encounters a mysterious poet.

The game combined music notes and classic poems, gamers experience the beauty of Chinese calligraphies and poems by tapping on the lyric that sync with the rhythm, or draw a calligraphy through the music notes.

===Features===
1. Lyrics are important part of the gameplay.
2. We applied Chinese calligraphy to the gameplay.
3. We’re the first rhythm game that collects indigenous music, Taiwanese Hokkien music, and a cappella music.
4. We combined classic Chinese literature with Taiwanese modern culture in our storyline.

Lyrica is a rhythm game that’s unique in many ways. It’s musically entertaining; it expresses literature artistically; it applied poetries in the gameplay and created a new gaming experience for the gamers.

I'm so amazed with the creativity in gameplay! It has to be one of the most original takes I've ever seen in a rhythm game. The addition of the cursor helps me see the direction of the circles and that helps me a lot as a player with some sight problems. And story is cool too! No problems so far (I'll come back to say them if I spot them) Keep the good work devs!

The game works well on my old tab a10.1 with no issues. I even bought 2 stories. The visuals are amazing, the effects the animations are just wow. But after switching to tab s8+, there are some issues that was annoying. I don knkw if is the android or this game. But i kept getting unresponsive touches some time in a same notes and it it happens more frequent. Other game is not much worse than this. I cant get even a single full combo.

I recently downloaded this game just cus it looked interesting and I really love it! The design is incredible and I haven't run into any errors! The music is nice and relaxing, not like the neo-tech stuff other similar apps provide! I love it and so I give 5 Stars! <3 The paywall is a bit annoying tho cus I'm broke and even though I have quite a few coins I can't seem to find somewhere to spend them. But I'm probably just to dumb to figure it out tho :p

The game is very fun in my opinion but the one thing that bothers me is that when u paid for the song pack you expect to unlock all the difficulties. So why do you still need to pay 200 gold to unlock the master difficulty? At least make it so that if you get A on the hard mode you can unlock the master difficulty. Its like paying for the music and you have to pay again if you do not want to play the hard difficulty 20 times to get 200 gold.

i just started playing the game so i haven't explored much but the visual is beautiful. and this might be my first time playing a rythm game with the lyrics on the note (so that's why it's called lyrica!). the difficulty is manageable for someone who haven't played rythm game for long, and i think the songs are nice too. i like this!

the gameplay is like if cytus and osu had a long lost cousin. its really creative with the lyrics being a part of the gameplay. the free songs here is quite limited though. but still, i really like this one!

I've only started playing, but I think it has promise. Based on the three songs I tried from the "missions - Christmas" part, the music part sounds great (I was immersed), were distinct enough (of different styles), and I don't sense any problems with the controls. The visual parts seem beautiful yet don't seem pretentious either. I'm also interested in the poems the songs were based on, but I don't know any of the Chinese languages.

Lyrica is an interesting rhythm game. You tap, swipe, and hold notes positioned somewhere on screen and pop-up in beat to a chosen song. Most of the time, indicators show where a note will be; other times, it's trial and error. The songs offer multiple genres, but the game somewhat lacks in number of songs. There's also a story about a guitarist moving to a big city who dreams about a poet travelling to an empire's capital. In the end, I praise the game for its fun and challenging gameplay. 5/5.

This game is well done. The maps remind me a little bit of Osu , in a good way. The controls are just sensitive enough, but I think because the player is working with a larger playing field than most mobile rhythm games, there's always room for fine-tuning the controls. I like the wide range of difficulty in the maps, although wish there were more ways to unlock more maps than through microtransactions. With a few changes, it could be a 5/5.

I really like this game so far. It works well both on phone and on tablet. It works really well on tablet- with the sound effects and harder levels. It doesn't require wifi connection to do free play but if you want to do missions, you'll need connection. There's a few grammar errors here and there for English which isn't a huge problem, but it could be improved. I'm really excited to see where this game goes, especially with events coming up. I do think we should be able to unlock stories with our coins though, or maybe through events.

The graphics are stunning, and they all blend together really well. I love the overall color pallate of the game. The music is beatiful and extremely well written, it also fits really well the the graphics, perfectly I should say. The game play is super easy to adapt to and get used to, and it's super fun to learn new songs and patterns. This is probably my new favorite rhythm game! Totally reccomend!

I have to say the game is certainly interesting. I just started yesterday but I do have to say some problems of mine. Can the songs be arranged according to difficulties? I know we can change then from easy to hard to master but i noticed numbers which in my opinion indicate speed. This is because I'm confused which song to play first as a rookie. The colours can be confusing sometimes. Overall I am pretty satisfied.

Really sweet game but I just wish that you could use the "jades" you collect in challenges to unlock the story modes instead of having to pay with real money. The price for each story mode isn't expensive at all if you're one that's willing to spend money for the story. I'm also pretty sure you can play all the songs in the game for free(?) through said challenges, but in general great game and even without spending money in it, it's still amazing.

I enjoy it. For a rhythm game this is in the top 5 for me and I've played tons of rhythm games on mobile and PC. My only issue is when I watch ad's to play a level the ad doesn't go away In time after I click X and the song starts. So depending I miss like 6-10 notes possibly more right off the bat. This could be my phone's issue but I haven't had a problem with it until now. Will change to 5 stars once it's fixed or I figure out what's happening if it's on my end.

The game is great! Good music, I like the fact that some songs has you drawing parts of the chinese symbols while playing, overall it makes for a great game! My only complaint is that some songs have lower volume than others. In my first 30 minutes of playing, one song I noticed that had lower volume was the song "Sunrise, Sunset". There might be a few more songs that need a volume check.

This is basically an osu! ripoff, to be completely honest. However, the graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is nice. Personally it is quite hard to tell when I should actually hit those notes, partially because I have just started, and partially the arrows and the approach circle (closing onto the notes) both aren't really helping. I dont know if it's a calibration problem, but my approach circle timing is quite off. Overall it's a nice music game to challenge yourself/pass some time.

It is like Osu but there are occasions where two fingers required... not very often tho.The feature is the notes are all located at the syllabus. That being said, all music pieces are vocal, so if you prefer instrument and hate pop music in a passion, this might not be the right game for you. Nevertheless, you can have a good taste of Chinese culture a little bit here.

Maybe other main stories can be unlocked by playing it, but it doesn't seems like that. Because it looks like you need to buy them. Which is fine, maybe 2-4 characters should be free, but then again I at them moment I don't know how much content is there for one character. Also maybe there should be option to buy all stories with one click not by one by one.

Kei. F. R. Mar 29, 2019

The game play itself isn't super original. It's similar to the typical OSU, EliteBeatAgents, etc. But the music is very beautiful. There's a lot of traditional Chinese in it, with lovely art and sound. The game feels well put-together, and not as though many corners were cut. I haven't run into any technical issues yet. It runs smoothly (though I am on a high-end tablet, so there would be a big problem if it didn't). Either way, I'm really appreciating what's there so far.

餃子. Dec 23, 2018

I love the control and the visual of this game, stunning! I just can't give high rate to this game, because it messed up the music part in a music game.I can understand you guys want to make original songs, and the Chinese-style concept is really cool too. But you cant just find a poetry and stuff it in a random pop melody, it feels like 2 not-matching puzzle. Some of the singers really need to work on their skills... With game's music style(no EDM, no autotune), just couldn't hide flaws anymore

I was expecting just another cute looking music game, but I found one of the most creative and entertaining rhythm games out there. The gameplay is dynamic and really easy to learn, the art is beautifull and the music is really good. Also it doesn't take too much storage space, and I think that is something important because most good rythm games occupy too much storage.

Bak. S. Mar 31, 2020

As a person who likes Rhythm Games. The controls when first explained were to the point and easy to understand. The lag time which many rhythm games have a big issue, this game is precise with timing. The button pattern are not all over the place and jumbled up like random nonsense. The songs are beautiful and not high pitch screaming(Much praise to the singers). Look forward to more gentle songs and other varieties. Sing your spirits.

Sar. C. Feb 3, 2019

It's a fun game, but the sound effect when you hit the note has got to go. It can really ruin the sound of the song and the visual effect is more than enough to let you know that you hit the note in time. Other than that, super fun and interesting! Having to buy chapters is kinda lame, but I'm learning that it's common in this genre of game. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Jan. D. A. Jun 30, 2019

First issue is black screen when game started and to run the game I had to go to settings and open the "storage" permission on which turns good for me. I advice developers to do a thing about this. Inside the game, it has good controls. Game is a bit hard for new players like me but it is thrilling and made it l a fun rhythm game. I like the settings, the calibrate, the sound control, etc. If anything I want is add more tapping sound. Game is excellent.

no. n. Aug 21, 2019

The game upon itself is pleasant to play and even though there are songs you must pay to play, the free ones are nice to play as well and there's also the limited time songs you could choose in the mission or campaign even if its only for one time resulting in there always something to play. The graphics and scenery is nice to look at while you play the songs or are in the menu but it would be nice if there's some English versions of the songs or subtitles to know what's actually being said.

Rus. D. Feb 20, 2022

I will give 5 star for this game as a rythem game but i have to drop that to a 4 because this game has some good songs and hell lot of fun to play but additional songs have to purchest as sets please atleast drop the price a little some of the people won t pay that much beacause there are more rythem games that you can play new songs free and last thing songs are fine but you got to make the storys to be brought by coin that way some don have the pations can buying coins and add more songs

Suk. S. Dec 18, 2019

A very good game with so much potential. Addicting and meaningful, the storyline is great. However it NEEDS more free content, at least one storyline should be able to be finished for free. The amount of songs are limited and don't hold much of a range. But super great game to have.

Fuj. Sep 24, 2019

This game ia great..didnt have trouble learning to play, went from playing easy to hard in 1week also getting better at master difficulty, but the takeaway is that, it needs more western songs... the songs are great, the free ones as well as the ones you can unlock ive only felt this way after playing it for a long time... also dangnabit i want to finish the story but im so poor i cant buy it. But for a game which i play like an hour a day, this is a musthave in my phone
