Māori Television Connect

For those thinking the app doesn't cast, play the show on your phone and when it starts playing then hit cast. Doesn't work if you hit cast then the play button.

Was my top go to kai show app! however since the update i cant watch the shows:(

Not sure if its my phone or the app but im finding i am needing to uninstall and re-install the app to make it work. I use it once re-installed and it goes fine then i go back a few hours later to watch something and the app isnt working at all apart from being able to search but then wen search results are up nothing that I click on is loading. Have ahd to uninstall a few times now, a bit hoha to say the least.

New app is great and is easy to navigate!

Love Maori TV but not this app...content is great but too clunky to use and no way to cast to smart TV (same as web site). Too difficult to search for the programs i want to watch on demand, and all search results mixed up pout of order. Only half of the programs available appear. Would be good if programs started at episode 1 and continued to play next in series automatically (have to go back to the menu and continue to search).... please make it wasier to access this valuable resource :)

It's really good, I can access the TV shows and films, the only thing that's letting it go higher is when we are in the video, we can't do like double tap and it can move to one bit of the episode or movie ten seconds later, but other than that, the most chill app

UPDATE Love the new features and updates! Can now stream with Chromecast. Te rawe hoki! Will be watching alot more Māori TV! This app is really underdeveloped. It just directs me to the website. Whata waste of time having it. Also not compatible with Chromecast. Maybe look at other channels apps for ideas and easier navigation

Lagging a bit in the overall user capacity

I'm glad this app exists and has been updated but, but it's still clunky and I cant cast from android to my TV. No playlist or fa ourites button. The content is theres but it's usability is poor.

COME ON MAORI TV 2020 is nearly here!!... Ahikāroa is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Update your app and start casting to smart TV/Chromecast!. (Needs improvement in both app and web page in terms of casting. Website design looks amazing, app design needs improvement.) I garentee you's will have more downloads for your app through out the whole of Aotearoa and more views on your web page. Was great although not everything was available here in Australia (and that's understandable.) But the new update seems to have deleted everything. I can't even get the home page anymore.

Can you please fix the app. It's not working at all. TVNZ app is working. I'd love to be in Maori TV app all day but it's not working

Maori TV is a great channel especially the cooking shows. I really wish my smart TV could download the app like TVNZ on demand. Step your game up guys don't fall behind everybody else. If you need help with this please just holla at me. Cheers and good luck with future developments.

Worst. App. Ever. Useless as! Cannot watch videos at all. Want it to be a success??? Read the bloody comments and fix your blimin app THEN give us a chromecast option. Stop being such hold outs

Crashed 4 times this morning as we connected for the Dawn Ceremony. Once finally connected, it lasted for approx 5min then crashed. Reverted bk to the website, chromecasted from there - no issue✅ Also looking for Taki Atu Taki Tu ondemand via app - horekau🙃

You probably don't need this app because hey, it's the freaking website that's accessible through your internet browser. This app is a waste of phone space. Don't install.

pretty bad app whānau, no casting, bad search experience and the UX could be way better. will redownload once its improved

Seems pretty good and has the cast button for smart TVs however not all shows are up to date!

Pointless app. It jst takes you to the website and there's no ability to cast to a smart tv. Maori television has such good shows it's a real pity they dont have a casting app like tv 2 or tv3

To many shows running late

Useful for news. Useless for watching on demand...it takes you to the website and then you need to create a login. What is the point of the app if I need to go to the website?!

should add chromecast to app. otherwise i have no use in using app as i would rather watch on my tv then looking at my phone

Content is mean app would be better if I could sort content by level of te reo Māori amd search for the shows I'm after. Massive fan of Māori tv otherwise.

Content still not available outside of NZ. Looks like a tidy app otherwise.

You need to add a cast option to cast to tv or chromecast
