What’s new:
SMS channel support, you can now use the M-Pesa App even when you don’t have access to a data network, feature utilises a free SMS service
Contact and Favourites enhancements:
• Users now able to select Contacts as favourites from the recipient selection screen for Send money and Buy Airtime transactions
• To add and remove Favourites users simply click and unclick the star icon
• Users can now store up to 200 individual favourites
• Users adding new contacts are now directed to first save the contact in the phone contacts directory, the user can then select the contact as a Favourite
Organisation Favourite Enhancements:
• Users now able to select Organisations as favourites from the recipient selection screen for Buy goods, Agent withdrawal and Pay bill transactions
• Users can now select organisations from the Recent tab as Favourites
• Users can now add a favourite organisation from a pre-defined list of organisations or unlisted organisations
Payment Reminder enhancements:
• Reminders can be accessed from the ‘Scheduled reminder’ menu on the home page or on completion of a transaction
• Reminders are listed in ascending order of the date and time the reminder is due
• Users can set-up reminders for Send money and Pay bill payments
• Users are able to initiate payments simply by clicking on the reminder notification and entering the PIN to complete the transaction request
Transaction charges information:
• Transactions charges are now displayed on the transaction confirmation page
• Charges will be displayed on Send money, Withdrawal at Agent, Pay Bill and Pay Merchant transactions
• Charge information will only be available when the user has a data connection
Other improvements:
• For payment recipients picked from the customer’s favourites list, if the recipient is not a registered M-Pesa customer or registered on another network the contact/ favourite name is displayed
• Balance check prior to transaction submission removed
• App download and install size reduced by 35%
• Support for contact MSISDNs prefixed with +255

Decreased the rating, I have just had a bad experience with the call center. Called them twice about DSTV payments, the 1st call was very unpleasant, the helper was very dismissive and she misled me assuring that there are no mpesa fees. The 2nd call I needed guidance on the procedure, and she couldn't take me through confidently, the more I kept asking valid qns the more she would just tell me to use an alternative route, this meaning I will never get to learn to use the feature. Disappointed.
Very easy to use, fast in searching contacts and reduces the risk of sending money to a wrong number. It makes my life easy as I don't have to copy numbers somewhere before I perform a transcation.
I can't withdraw money by just using this app and it keeps telling me to update it through play store although am on the latest version. It has no any notification when someone has deposited money on my account or any activity which is happening on my account.
Not as good as used to be. To many problems. Transactions failed many times, money gets deducted from the account and you get stranded for 24 hrs.
I don't understand the app did not open in my smartphone Oppo A5 it ended to the point of write your phone number when i enter start to unfinish loading i try to wait for more than 30 minutes but didn't finish to load..
It is a very good app for making transactions, but I am asking team of experts to make this modifications by linking app with google drive for backing up and restoring transaction records incase user changes the phone or accidentally cleared transaction messages saved on phone

true meaning of digitalization. I like it. however, the app doesn't work when the Sim card isn't in the respective gadget. I thought this was invented to Carter for such circumstances where you need to make a transaction but have no Sim card in possession at that time. I suggest that the app be improved and function even when there's no Sim card in the bearing gadget so long as all security measures are observed
Not yet transacted enough but so far so good. Oops!! Today Your app is just going round and round without opening . I'm not sure what's gone astray with it.
Simplifies and take short time with error free entries,keep up. Untill now it's okay with ads shown.
User experience is Good,fix the issue to access the app with data for the vodacom simcards you should make it free when connected with Vodacom network regardless of no Data.

Nice app and useful but sometimes the app can take a long time to load/to open i think you should improve speed and lastly is about M-pesa virtual card in the next update we hope to recieve money through Mpesa visa/master card. Thank you vodacom for M-Pesa virtualCard.

Well speaking of great app this is one, my life is easier eversince i started using the app, quick, clean and precise. Vodacom might annoy you in fees but always render great service, Thanks Vodacom, leading by example 💪💪
You need to add, options to get receipt after transactions. Also add a wide time to get a statement ranging from one month to year.
Liked the new system of tarura parking fees and also the luku where by u can verify the number before purchasing it. Keep it up and looking for more improvements
your app is very slow in verification of number,it keeps failing,I don't know what is the broblem here!
Actually it's a mice app fast and rrliable but the problem comes when launching it sometimes it takes quite a while to operate
I have been using this app for almost a year now and have never faced any problems so far. It runs smoothly plus it's easy to use. Everything from sending, withdrawing to bill payments has been made easier through this application. I only have one suggestion, If a customer has an outstanding balance from SONGESHA make it possible to be seen on the balance with a negative sign. Also waiting on the M-PAWA service to be available, been waiting for it far too long. Apart from that all thumbs up!!
Generally, the app is functional and useful most of the times i have used it. There are a few things that the developers can improve, first is the Show Balance feature...... its not realtime, immediate top ups are not reflected immediately i have to close and reopen the app, second thing.... sending money to other networks using the app doesnt always work, throws random errors so i have to use USSD as fallback.
while sending money entered number doesn't show names sometimes, makes it difficult to know who you're sending money to.
Visa card is not recognized internationally, for instance buying cryptocurrency.
The app is extra easy to use you guys have made things very easy

Thank you once again for an improvement, I wanted you to add all features about songesha but not yet. Also we would like to see if you can add instant sms of transactions through the app. Previously if data connection was off, the app was still running. Can you set it again because it may happen you want to do transactions without having Data connection (bundle).
It is helpful. But still have to be improved. Your customers need the apps to save all the payments and transactions made on this apps for easy reference. You may need to make payments, keeping memory enables us to review for further records. Otherwise it helpful
