App promises a lot, but fails to do anything on my phone. I'm not sure if this is some issue with the version of Android or perhaps the hardware on my phone? When I attempt to enter my own Morse to translate (test my keying) it does not detect any dots, and dashes are detected intermittently. When I type text to translate to Morse it just gives me "..." when what I typed was "QRS". app definitely has a LOT of promise! Hope these issues get fixed in future releases.
Base on my opinion, this is the best and simple morse code translater out there. The dots and dashes are aline, the theme is casual which is very nice and the fact that you can translate text into morse and morse into text in one app is amazing.
I have to agree with An Vi below, the get rid of ad's parts got me laughing. I learnt more in 10 minutes of playing with it than I have done over the last 20+ years, yes it is a simple program. After 10 minutes I was able to sent my name in Morse code, BTW my last name is Morse, I was as happy as a pig in muck. To be fair I have been learning Morse code for the last 63+ years. I nearly have my call sign done also! Mind you I have only had my call sign for 43 years. Thanks
Great, but needs work. Donation should remove menu item (and donation restore on reinstall), some help for beginners, color themes - will be absolutely unbeatable.
Most important (to me) function, translating morse code from the microphone to letters, is simply not present. Ads, though, are very well visible. Uninstalled.
Great way to learn with many features. I tried several apps and this one is simple but has several features to help learn. I have learned more in just a few minutes with this app than in hours with other apps.
Its a neat app, includes flashing morse code, morse code tapping and saving options. All in all a good app, only downside is it has no function to decode morse from hearing it, thats what ive been looking for.
Because the developer is dressed shaby close, sitted in a corner and feeling cold thus needing warmth and I desperately want to get read of Ads. By the way what a great App
Wow, this app is hella great. Perfect for novice as well as advanced ham operators. I sure wish this was around when I was studying for my generals license. This is an amazing piece of work.
This really helped me learn Morse within , like a few days . I don't think I'll ever use Morse code in real life , buts it's always good to know. I don't see any flaws in this app ( maybe the ads are a bit annoying I guess . But that's just nitpicking ) . I think this is pretty good ngl .
I like the app, indeed. But I would like to see seprate options for the speed of listening to the code and the speed of writing code, in WPM (Words Per Minute), then I would consider donating.
Great app! More tones would be nice... and combining Morse to English and English to Morse into one section might be beneficial. A solid 4 stars.
Does what it is supposed to do. Screen shots are accurate. Translation options are useful.
I love the game part of this app and the fact that it can use the flash on the camera to show you what the Morse Code looks like in different ways. Actually super fun! Lol
This app is excellent for learning Morse code Very fast - converts Morse to various languages With 2 kinds of beeps Just by determining the duration of pressing the volume button , you can type an entire message in Morse code
It's cool but honestly what did you expect. On the other hand it is pretty cool that you don't have to translate morse code by yourself and can double check yourself on translating things correctly
Helpful. Trying to decode shortwave morse. Able to record and translate. "remove ads" button is humorous
Absolutely easy and well done. I really appreciate the flash output. This app is useful for training and for emergency too. Five stars no doubt
5 stars for the cute message that pops up when you click on "remove ads" . Also the app is great , love it.
Works fine except I hate how it automatically moves the cursor forward once you press the key and the fact that most of my dits show up as dahs
Honestly the best morsw code app out there. It has multiple morse voices to choose from, has virtually no delay when it comes to tapping. I will continue to use this app in my journey to learn morse code.
The rating pop up was loud, obnoxious and premature as I'd barely even been in the app for more than a minute.
Worked great the first day but day 2 the page was full of ads and I could not get rid of them. Had to restart phone. Uninstalled ap
I would enjoy it if you could record to translate because I downloaded this app hoping that I could find a way to translate this Morse code I could hear but it was a bit hard to copy
I didn't like it, I think the app crashed on me and blared this loud sound as it did, pretty fast tempo as well, really made me panic
You got me dude, I liked the trick the animation and the music when you got me. The app does its job so 10/5
Can't type the morse code in to save my life. After typing a few characters it tries to translate on its own, then for aome reason switches to the keypad mode where you key in the morse code. And while keying it in, the app keeps stalling while trying to load ads, which completely throws off the rhythm and screws up the spacing between characters or even individual dots and dashes. Which causes it to put in the wrong characters.
