Mac Address Ghost

It works. I've tried so many apps but except this other apps are useless. I'm using Android 9 (go). I think most of us don’t know how to use this app, that's why too many negative review are given here.

I didn't realize jack in the box will ban your mac address, still works on Android 9, I'm sure it's spotty like all the other old apps, this was a life saver back in the day

This is the only MAC address changer app that I've found that actually works. I work at a place that has an open WiFi network and every once in awhile, I am unable to connect and get a "connection refused" error. I get an IP, but am unable to get an internet connection. Since others are able to connect at that time (they also get the error every once in awhile as well), I figured it is a MAC flagging issue. This app changes my MAC and immediately, I can connect. Now I have found that this only works with open WiFI and not one with a secured connection, but it's what I need and use it for.

Very useful to be able to store different configs, I use it to log in my xbox to a public network. Only thing missing is physical/current mac address display, just to be sure you're using the right address. Edit: Works fine in sgs2 but doesn't work at all with sgs4 mini.

I wanted to use my amazon fire TV in hotel network. Unfortunately it didn't work as their network needed me to visit a Web page to accept terms and conditions. This app helped resolve the issue. I was able to change my Mac on Android phone to the one fr fire TV. Started fire TV and it just connected. Perfect

Works well, tested using airmon-ng and shows mac as set in app. Only thing for me, I can't get it to change the mac of the mobile ap, still shows my real mac. 1. Root 2. Install busybox 3. Type in a terminal emulator 'busybox ifconfig' and note interfaces, may be wlan0 or eth0 or other 4. Setup a profile using interface name, test with airmon/kismet/mac filtering on router...

The app does in fact work on my Verizon Galaxy S3, however, it's not very straight forward. Wlan0 must be specified, and you must forget and reconnect to the AP every time you want to to re-mask. Would get five stars if it was more convenient to use.

So my parents hate I go to bed so late so they blocked my Mac address. So me being me I changed the proxy port number and it would work for 5 minutes and I would get blocked again. But this app is great. If I get blocked just change the Mac address and I'm back online in seconds . I would give 5 stars if you guys made a widget for it tho.

On my Nexus 7 it works fine but on my old lg p500, you have to remove super user permissions, reboot and allow superuser access and then it works flawlessly.

This app do it's job very well, but after changing the mac, i was not able to connect any WiFi networks😢

sites exactly what is supposed to do, find right method with no real directions, and does what its supposed to. useful app, works well.

Tried it looked at my routers mac Address List, no difference. Tried everything I can think of, but no results.

Completely not working on rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (no matter Classic of Opotapenko method is selected).

Doesn't work, at all. All it does is momentarily disconnect the currently connected wifi connection.

Requires A Little Tinkering With The Settings To Get It To Work Properly, But After About 30 Minutes I Got It Working Perfectly On My LG Lucid And Galaxy Note 2.

Says MAC address successfully changed but it's still broadcasting the old one

I tried this app and even though it says the mac got changed, but it is not since I see my real mac in wifi my access point.

On galaxy s4, but had to use the Opotapenko mode instead of classic to get it to work on my Galaxy s4 i9505 But apart from that seems good :D

doesn't change my mac... but it's temp, and i have mac filtering on my router, i run app, connection seems to fail, then Android reconnects.. so if it works its way to temporary... I'm not testing any more, i just stumbled apon this accidently

Thanks a lot!! Using wlan0!! Wish a better interface and app icon in the future. "Wireless Mac Changer" another app with the same function, it has the better interface but dose not work on my Xperia S.

On my htc one x with Cyanogenmod, this app allowed me to reconnect unlimited to a hotspot with a 1h limit per device. This proves that this app works.

I dont known why mac address ghost dont work onbku new phone(kitkat) it is rooted. It was on my previous phone which has gingerbread htc explorer. Help plz!

I don't know what people are complaining about. I went through the checklist in the description, and it worked like a charm. It allowed me to get my Roku on the hotel network.
