Fine, when it actually works. They haven't updated it since 2016, so it works less and less with newer devices. You would think that after putting out 200USD for this, they would keep it up to date! Because you know, some people rely on their tools to keep vehicles running properly and diagnosed correctly!
does not make the datastream available for most of the vehicles I've tried it on. emailed tech support and was told that it is not expensive enough to include any updates or coverage for more vehicles. would not show datastream a 2008 f150!
Was alright at first though the navigation isn't the most user friendly. It just really crappy that they dont bother to update. It doesnt work with me new phone and they are still selling these devices
I think it's time for a update. Since it has not had one since 2016
Needs an update.
so their tablet tools can tell you everything control every everything, oil pressure, temperature , injectors turn them on and off. the technology is there but there app doesn't do that. it's really disappointing after you spend $200 on state of the art technology. My phone has a Snapdragon 820 processor so it basically has soul and is a living being it can handle it.
Scanner was 50/50 on in-app navigation. Needs more code support on Korean cars.
The user interface is annoying. Difficult to navigate. Either the app need work or you need to provide a video tutorial. I have also had problems with modules showing up as numbers and signs with no description of what the module is. Everyone should know what A%!sBq module is right. I would think that a 200 dollar scan tool set up would be better than a 5 dollar app like Torque. And even tho the adapter is blue tooth you can not use it for any other app. I think I will return this and buy a 15 dollar adapter off ebay and just use torque that way I don't feel like I am wasting money on a poor tool that says Mac on it.
Device never worked with either my phone or my coworkers phone, wound up trying it on 5 different phones with the same result, returned unit to Mac for full credit
Let's see some misfire data. This could be a good little scanner if the app was capable of reading more pids.
Works really well but sometimes hard to navigate through otherwise I would give it a 5star rating.
When I was finally able to get it to connect, it was difficult to navigate. Returned for a full refund
Doesn't have any late model air bag or abs available
Not easy to use
It worked well three or four times, now it says, "Unfortunately Taskmobile has stopped" every time I try to connect to the bluetooth device. Reinstalled software, same problem. Email to technical support has gone unanswered to date. Will adjust rating when it works. At least my OBDLink bluetooth adapter still works. UPDATE: The most recent update fixed my issue, but I never did receive any response from technical support. Added two stars to my rating.
Bought it for a quick scan of codes. Very handy tool. Don't always need the big full scanner when looking for an easy problem. Worth owning. Small probability is a huge plus. Note 4 and note 12.2 pro are both great!
Giving 1 star purely becuase there is no demo.....pictures supplied are all you can look at for decision to buy adapter from mac or not. A basic demo of any domestic car would have been nice just to see what info is there...
I just got one yesterday and I'm very happy with it so far 5 stars.
Simple to use, beats carrying around some big scanner.
I love the platform. And the sky is the limit :)
Very user friendly and useful for diagnostics.
Bought it last year for doing mobile diagnostics. Use it in the shop as well. Great for checking data, pulling codes, code definition. Great for road tests. I have downloaded the app on my phone as well as my tablet. Love the single graphing. Like testing a tps or disconnecting a map sensor I can make the display large. Wish I could purchase a newer version with bi-directional tests. Overall good starter scan tool. It's my back up to my other scan tools.
