Easy to use and nice for quick checking my account or depositing checks or setting up an auto payment. I had the same issue as others are sharing. But all I had to do was call the bank and it was fixed. The only time I ever had a problem was when everything was shutdown from covid-19, but no issues otherwise since.
Just got a new OnePlus 6T and installed the Macbank app. The app won't open at all... This is a new phone and it sounds like there have been previous problems with other Android Pie OS. I would love to be able to do my banking with the app when it works but right now I guess I'm out of luck.... **Update: After about 3 or 4 mobths I can access the app on my new phone!
Way outdated technology. Bank processes to slow. Transactions on "pending" status, stay in pending 4 to 6 days! Totally unacceptable with today's technology's. Bank's answer is to keep a hand written ledjer. If one has to keep a hand written ledger, then no need to even use this app. So any work out into this app is a waste of time and money. Many other Banks have dedicated a portion of profits to go to computer systems upgrades, and new technologies. That is true customer service.
Used to be good but a recent update has broken the app. I have to reinstall it in order to log in then it only works once or twice. Then i have to delete the app and reinstall in order to get it to work. I gave it 2 stars since it works great when I can log in.
The app is constantly not working! It either says the log in info can't be validated at this time or the app is currently not working and to try again later. I have to try several times in a row just to eventually be able to log in. It used to work great before the recent updates.
it's nice to manage my finances through the app on my phone. easy to transfer money to accounts and the money is available immediately. It also helps to track spending and see what checks have and haven't been cashed. Very convenient
Every so often it will not let me login to my account. It resets my fingerprint login and the instant balance I had set up as well. Very annoying to have to continue to set up on a banking app.
I love the app. It is so easy to use. It makes banking easy. You can see balances and view checks if needed, make internal transfers. Macatawa banking is great.
Doesn't work . Called they couldn't help me, I have to get rid of the old macatawa bank system and install the new one. Seems the new system launch could have been more user friendly. Now I can't do my on line banking and pay the bills. I wouldn't recommend macatawa bank. This is not the first time we've mistreated by them.

It wont let me login, many times when I know I'm using the right password and username and it very frustrating because then I have to go up to the bank because my account is locked. So very frustrating
I have tried logging in to this app multiple times and it just closes out every time. I have also tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it.
Always have liked the app but today will no longer take pictures of checks for deposit. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but it still doesn't work. Frustrating.
More than half the time it wint let me log in. Says theres a connectivity problem even on perfect wi-fi or 4G. Havent seen any uodates at all.
Was working fine a few days ago when I checked my account. Now today I try to get on, and it won't even load to the log in page. Usually it is great to use, but when you cannot log on, its a pain.
It just won't open quite regularly and says the app has been forced stop. I have never experienced so many problems as I have with this app.
For about a year now, every time I log in I get a message that my information can't be validated. It is suggested I call the bank. In order to use this app I have to be in an active phone call with the bank. This is not useful.
Mostly great, mobile deposit seems to have gone down in quality, picture taking screen is at greatly reduced resolution.
App only allows you to log in like half of the time which is SUPER inconvenient when I need to transfer money or even just check my balance. Fix your stupid app.
The app is great and let's me do everything I need. If you could implement face recognition for authentication on a Google Pixel 4, I'd give it 5 stars
It does the basics. I don't like that when I log off I have to do a force app shut down for the app to not show in my notifications
Works good overall. Check deposit by picture fails about 25% of the time. Possibly bc of not a great phone. idk.
New App Issue loads but will not let me type in my password information. essentially now useless, before update had no issues.
Easy to use, real time response to banking, can be used internationally. Great app!!
Please add functionality so end users can edit payees using the mobile banking app. I can set up new payments, but not update addresses or account numbers...? More and more people use mobile apps because their access is limited to mobile devices.
This needs to be fix, I cant get into my account keeps saying cant "validate your credentials". Not good.
app just stopped working. one day it's fine, the next it boots me out as soon as i log in. very frustrating

Simple and easy to navigate app for banking. Update made it even better.
It hasnt let me sign in almost one third of the time that i need to. I have decided to switch to lake Michigan bc my friends have them. That app has worked every time they've opened it. This app has continuously been useless when I need to deposit my paycheck or transfer money. I haven't been able to switch bc of everything going on, and I now plan on keeping the one account as well as the other banks, but I'm kind of sick of depending on this app.
