Had a dead battery, got a quote $60-85, service provider arrived in 20-25 min. That part was great. But when they arrived, after giving me a jump, they tried to sell me a battery I didn't need then told me the price in the app was not the final price and that I need to pay $130. Mach1 charged me $60, now Mach1 is contacting me for more money saying that the provider says I agreed to pay more. I did not agree to pay more than the quoted amount and I will not be using Mach1 again. Uninstalled.
This app is ungodly SLOW. It's bulky, it takes forever after you hit next. The prices are exactly the same if you call a tow company on your own. Tow company won't pre charge you. Yeah it doesnt matter the bandwidth or speed. I'm on 5g mobile, gig internet on wifi. And a T3 when I'm at work. Try again
I live in NYC and this app automatically found a service provider 45 miles away in long Island instead of one of the countless providers closer to me. I was given no choice in the matter. I was given an estimation of 45 to 60 dollars for the service, and when my provider finally arrived there was no update to the estimated charge on the app and no confirmation of a final price. I was then charged 85 dollars for the service. I would have been better off just finding a provider in my own.
An amazing app to have. Calling your insurance could hurt you later. You typically wait for hours for them to get there. It's a little pricey but I only waited 15 minutes and it was such a hassle-free experience. I wasn't even upset lol
The service tech called me directly after booking asking for information the app should have provided and tried to charge me over double the high end estimate given by the app. Pretty sure he was attempting to cancel the service call from the app and charge me directly. UPDATE: The company gave me a ring due to the atypical way my service request was cancelled and responded with an appropriate level of disgust with the techs actions and apologized.
They had no technicians available to me in Phoenix, AZ which was discovered afterwards. You'd think in a capital city this wouldn't be a thing. I had to cancel my service and go find another solution and then wait a few days for the $60 refund to come through...
Easy to use app for roadside assistance. They are nationwide and service is faster than I am used to from other companies.
They were unable to get anyone near me BUT they were calling within minutes to make sure I was taken care of. That's how you build a good name. :)
Had someone at my car with gas in 20 min! Very fast. Thanks for getting me back on the road quickly!
Very good customer service, I was surprised.
Unable to create account
Waited 2 hours on the side of the highway when I was originally told 20 minutes. $65 for them to bring 1 gallon of gas
I can't figure out why I am unable to create an account..
Works as advertised.
If I could give less i would
Asked for all information up front before I could even find out whether the price was decent. This is the wrong order. Then, the app wanted my payment details before asking my location or giving me an exact price. This seems super shady. Cancelling and uninstalling. EDIT AFTER REPLY FROM DEVELOPER: The developer replied stating that they need full customer information before they can display pricing because the price varies by location and service needed. Thanks Captain Obvious. That's clearly NOT what I objected to. The price had better not depend on what my credit card number is. You don't need that in order to display a price. That's why I say you're shady, and I stand by my opinion.
