By far, the worst Hosted Games game that ever came out. Its not completely clear to me if this was just not my kind of game, or if it was just bad all around. To me the story was very poor in execution, but it had a very interesting concept. I can't deny that Im disappointed in Hosted Games, though.

A very interesting concept and a perfect setting however the execution just doesnt quite cut it. Things happen too fast, you feel like youre not quite an unstopable machine just an average person with shapeshifting abilities, and the ending is very anticlimatic. Very good opening though, it sets the mood perfectly. Sadly that is not the case for the whole story. Feels like the writer gave up midway trough.
A bit confusing, maybe a Notable Characters list would help. The resource system seemed completely unnecessary, I never had to worry about running out (except for repairing myself when I could, seemed like I was always getting moderately injured).
DO NOT BUY! I've had this game for several months & have been unable to complete it. Permadeath is a horrible feature for a text adventure game & it ruins the story. The choices give no indication of which skill is used for which action & the "Stats" screen for this game is very confusing & gives no indication on the impact of your decisions. I have also noticed that the devs don't care about complaints from customers, they completely ignore everyone after they steal your money. HEY DEVS, GUESS WHY THIS GAME'S RATING IS SO LOW!!!
The story is of halfway decent telling. Spelling errors here and there and a slightly engaging plot, but the stats you incur have no plausible effect on the story. No matter your stats, it seems an action cannot be undertaken and hat annoyed me at best. Definitely not on of the finest Text Games I've read.
Love this game but I have been trying forever to keep da navatto alive but I'm not sure it's possible

Worst ever by hosted games
The resource system could very well be a decent idea, but it is used awfully here: in every other choice of game, using the same skill in every possible choice is a key to guarunteed success, at least in that individual choice. Here, it may or may not work, and it is exceedingly difficult to tell if it will. The skills system is overall too complicated (at least too complicated for the minimal explanation and teaching given on it), and is frustrating. I really wish i could like this, but i just cant.
No check points. Floppy, weak resource system. (No way of knowing if an action will use resources). I feel more like a weak construct that always gets stabbed or knifed, or shot. I thought I was some badass? Again with that, no check points so you make 1 mistake, and it's all over. I would not recommend. Comparing to the level of detail of the other CoG on here. What this needs to be good: Better resource system, check points, more of the main character being a badass.
Unfortunately this is one of the most disappointing stories they've released recently. Your choices follow a very linear story and have almost no effect on what happens.
I enjoyed this novel way less than the other titles. There were a lot of options which really excited me at first but I got bored very quickly and found myself skimming over most of the story. It's a shame because this game could have been great if the writer focused more on actually writing a gripping story and not messing around with the game's annoying stat system or providing way too much useless dialogue.
This could be a really fantastic game but it is confusing and disjointed. I hope they continue to improve it.

Been waiting for some new releases from you guys first to buy and I'm happy to say I'm pleased with the product.
The idea is pretty cool but i couldn't get into it if you choose an an option you shouldn't be able to choose the other options when you committed to the first one you chose it just felt like my choices didn't matter
I installed doomsday on demand and was emediatley hooked on your games and subbed to your mailing list

I love these games I truly do, I have read most of your Choice Books but this one wasn't worth thw money. It had me lost at times and the ending was abrupt, I wish this was executed better because the idea is good but again, the execution lacked

The story is well done, but I'm not a fan if the 'pay to unlock rest of story' mechanic you guys have. I understand you need to make money, but couldn't you just get it through ads, then have the 'buy away ads' prompt? It would make the crowd happy. More downloads...
I hate that you have to pay it's really annoying
Great game, those interested in compelling and detailed worldview will especially appreciate it! It is definitively less linear than other Choice of Games or Hosted Games. I'm surprised it doesn't have a higher score (possibly latest patch had addressed much of the earlier criticism?) Anyway, highly recommended!
