The newest and best version of the app has been released. Version 14(4.0) has been a great success. With the inclusion of swiping, tabs, references, and many more functions. This app is better since the most recent update BUT still has a way to go. In many cases the advertisements in the free version cover the calculation results, making them unreadable. The lathe turning calculation is plain wrong, it asks for cutter diameter, but should really be asking for the diameter of the work. Also, the results in calculations have no units attached to them, so you don't know if the results are in Rpm, surface feet per minute, or some other metric. Tables and pictures are poorly
I have been all over Play looking for exactly this. I'm brand new & have no one to teach me so I will be self taught. I have looked at a lot of useful app bit all were short of what I needed. This has everything I was looking for plus I'm sure stuff I'll find I need later. Thanks so much.
There's an ad right where the app outputs the desired information. Maybe it's just my phone, but it's totally unusable for me because of this
It would be very helpful if the charts and diagrams would work in vert and horizontal orientations, and if you could zoom them, for those of us with older eyes.
Helpful information but good luck seeing it because sometimes they cover the results of calculations with an ad that won't go away!
HSS milling rpm cal. Doesn't work It does work but gets covered up by the adds
But useless in the civilised parts of the world that use the metric system. Would give it at least 4 stars if it had the option to change between the two.
Everything this app could of been has is ruined by the placement of the ads. Completely useless
I have been in the industry almost 20 years and love that I have all these references in one place. I know most of them from memory but when I forget something or want to double check this is the place. Great Job guys.
I have no way of saying whether the HSS cut speeds were correct due to the fact that the ads covered my calculation results. Dismal failure.
Works fine and has all the basic functions. Not at all flashy and not many bells or whistles, but useful.
Worst industrial reference app ever! Functionality is horrible.
I like this app it's handy, I showed it to my tutor and he got it up on the over head projector and suggested that all my class mates downloaded it, we all use it now...but always double check what the app tells us
I use this mostly for bolt circles but in the threading section under tap drill size it gives lathe feed rates for threads instead of drill size.
Its quite useful but its more convenient if you make the unit into ISO unit or metric.

Good information so far but no information on steel and tool steel !! Ads cover answer most of the time could be a great app if more was added .

Expected not so much or laid out in a simple to follow format. Great job and a useful tool in my pocket for work and hobby.
super fast reference tool. great for quick feeds and speeds, the material selections are not vast, but that can easily be looked up by the manufacturer of the tool or material. the references are what I use most, speeds and feeds for drills and reamers specifically. Saves me time.
