It doesn't work. It stopped working & I couldn't pay with it, i had to use the physical card. I deleted the app and installed again & the card can't be added due to error, still not working
It was tried after its last update, unfortunately its usual messages are still your card is not eligible... I hope to find an alternative to this application, which is useless. لقد جربته بعد آخر تحديث له، للأسف الرسائل المعتادة لا تزال بطاقتك ليست مؤهلة ... آمل أن تجد بديلا لهذا التطبيق، الذي لا طائل منه.
It was working perfectly until android 12 came along. The app simply stopped working after the Android 12 update.

I've really had no issues with this app. It's made payment convenient and it's easy to add cards into it even digital cards like my STCPay card. I don't even think about the app I just tap my phone now as a habit, it works perfectly every time and I don't even worry about it. I like it a lot I hope the service continues to be as good as it has been. The only request I could have is that it's easier to specify that I want to pay with a card that is not the default, but that issue rarely comes up.

I cleared cashe, did clear data, Uninstalled and reinstalled, and now I can't even add any card, tried with 3 different card from different banks. App suggested to clear all card from within app, I did that too but no help. It's extremely frustrating as I have gotten very used to using this app for purchases. Hope it gets fixed ASAP.

The app nfc doesnot scan the card when u tryto register it so as the camera

The application became very very bad after updating to Android 12 , I have almost two weeks trying to add new cards but I can not , says wipe your cards and try again I deleted the app and Installed it many times but It did not work, Mada is a big company and they have no idea how to fix their app !!!! That's weird!!!!!
**The exact issue happened again with crashes with android 11, and it has been more than two months and no fix** **The App crashes on the new version of Android (Android 10). Hopefully it gets fixed very soon.** This is a fantastic app for those who don't want to carry their wallets anymore.
Stopped working for Samsung phones, can't count the times this let me down! Now it says I should have internet connection to use the app!!! It works on my other device but that's not good enough. When it works it works well but I can't accept the app to not work. I think I ll go back to carrying my card and that way I don't need internet connection at least. Saudi Payments - unacceptable let down.
Still no support for android 11 Edit: After 3 months the app is updated to support android 11 but it is still not usable because now there is no way to add cards.. 'unknown error' every time I try to add a card. Edit: working fine since then.
Very useful app. Works as expected. The only problem I have encountered is the list of transactions. It is not showing on S10. I have several cards from two different banks. None of them is providing list of transactions. I am also getting the " mada pay does not work on rooted devices" message eventhough my phone is not rooted. I suspect it does that after each update. I also suggest if for any reason the App is reinstalled to make all previouse settings and transactions availab.
Can't add a new card...it always says. 'internal error'. I cannot resume adding card's. why? And can you please add an companion app for (Wear OS). so i can pay with a compatible watch with nfc (Wear OS). But before that please fix all the bugs in the app. Thank you.
After updating to Android 12, the app stopped functioning even after 3 months. Before that the app was amazing, simple and easy to use. Unfortunately the developers is taking to long to update there app and I am sure that many people have the same issue.
The application need improvement, if I need to add card after some time, I have to wipe or clear data, then add all the cards again. There are some minor issues too but overall it is useful.
Android 11 was released on September 8 and this app was updated to support it on November 22. That's almost three months of not being able to do mobile payments. Not to mention that the update is also broken as I'm still unable to add all my cards that were added on the previous version. Mada needs to allow Google pay to provide their services here if they are not willing to properly support this app, which is also lacking some features like support for smart watch payments.
Still not working after the last update
21-04-22 The in app update has resolved the issue. Ratings updated. 16-04-2022 Almost a month and there is no action to rectify these till date. 13-03-2022 Tried adding a new card. It gave an error and asked to try again. Tried again and it says the card is already in the wallet and to wipe wallet if it isn't visible. Wiped multiple times but the same issue. Reinstalled as well but same. (Android 12 Samsung S22 Ultra)
- slow to run for the first time it launches (annoying when you wait longer in row where it suppose to shorten the period picking card from wallet and return it back) - gives an error when trying to pay ( tried 3 different merchants). does not pay! - i have to unlock the device then run it to pay (apple pay is far easier by double press power button and unlocks through face id seamlessly)
Not supported in latest Android!! My phone is pixel 3 with latest android 11 The app shows up in google play store and not filtered out, yet when launched it displays an error message with "your phone operation system version is not supported" If not supported, why bother listing the app. It should be filtered out !!!
-Couldn't delete card. "Removing card" takes forever and requires to force stop. -Couldn't add a card. "Unknown error" appears when trying with both NFC and manual method. -after I have applied RESET to solve the above issues, it became useless "Failure initializing Mada Pay". I'm done here. Thanks for this short experience. My physical cards are much more reliable
Really bad experience. The app stopped functioning and will not allow me to any of my cards. The app used to work just fine but now I completely stopped using it and will be un-installing soon.
I really like the app and it has made my life easier but why is there no option to set an app lock with fingerprint or password. It is a much needed feature. I would rate it 5 star if that feature was added
