Great selection of books but too many bugs. The app frequently crashes on both my Android devices. I get an error that prevents me from downloading anything listed as free so I don't have any way to read those particularly issues. I have had some purchased comics that I am not able to download. When I tried to download them I got an error just like when I attempt to "pirchase" free comics and the error says to "contact support." Sadly, the support contact info is nowhere to be found.
Can't even make an account or sign in. After downloading the app and getting the opening cinematic, I was trying to create an account but it was impossible. Every time I get a message saying I'm not connected when actually my wireless is quite strong and my tab says I'm connected. I have no idea what's going on here. EDIT: After a little research I found out Madefire Digital and Motion Comics went bankrupt April 2021 and shut down their app. This app should be deleted from the GooglePlay Store.
This app is fantastic for comic book fans. I wish they were more popular and were able to release more projects. Even if you dont like motion comics, there are traditional comics here to enjoy. Although that area is a bit lacking, its been gradually improving and adding more classic comics as well as newly released trades. Give this smaller company a chance, because theres a lot to like here.
When I installed the app and got to the main menu the pictures weren't loaded for the comics or genres, I searched for a comic in the search section and it said I didn't have a connection even though I'm connected to wi-fi, and when I found a comic I found interesting I couldn't download and read it. I wish I had a better experience and that this app worked better.
This was great comics app for sure I ever seen this kind of apps before but everyone does few little mistakes Few things need to be add and correct 1. UX design is seems little older 2. Most of all we need to have a wishlist or Favourite list 3. Category list need to correct 4. Correct the timings of comics release dates And few more need to work on
The Madefire team has been extremely helpful with any issues during the switch from Boom! Studios. I am very happy. Wish the comic reader they use had a bit more functionality but it doesnt bother me while I am reading
Please don't shut down this app even if the company situation becomes worse. I know it becomes terrible to keep doing this in pandemic. But a lot of people including me love the dedication and hardwork you put through this app. I love it. Has all genres, makes comics easily available, nice UI, lots of free comics too.
I think itz one of the best comics reader. But still lack comics collection.. I mean we need more motion comics.There are tons of comics u can include in ur store..plz do it.. Even if there is no sound itz okay..bt we need motion effect. Plz add motion effect to all printed comics.. Am not interested in printed comics without motion effect..in my opinion they are trash.. I request you to make all your comics with motion effect..
Would give ZERO stars. Can't even sign up. Keeps saying offline. Total BS. Full bars. Everything else loads no problems, Fibre internet. Customer lost at the first hurdle
I'm not a huge fan of the regular digital comics, but the motion comics are really a cool experience. The original Mono just blew me away.
It works great! But whenever i go to a volume it says it's loading but it never shows up. Other than that issue it works great.
The three stars are for its performance before the issue. It stoped working after i downloaded about 5 books, i couldn't download anything.

sorry but this trash app don't work anymore it ask me if my connection is good and yes is good but still I can't see nothing in the library all the damn list is in black
Does not work will not allow me to make a account and tells me there is something wrong with my connection even though theres not. Would not recommend.
Great app. The visuals are really great. I really enjoy reading comics on it, including the motion comics. Great job@madefire.
It's a great app, although I don't understand why some comics are premium and have to bought, but I am happy that there are free comic titles to read (like Fathom, The Strain etc.) Good comic app..... Rating: A
App still cant display comics in whole screen so it looks moronic and its hars to read on 5.5/6 inch screens, also why downloaded comics are stored on internal memory instead of SD card????? @developer No it dosent since it have these huge black bars that dosent allow image to fill entire screen.
The best app with great content, but i faced issue in reading some bubbles as the fint size is small and u can't zoom much. (Using Note9)
I had a great experience with Madefire. The customer support is quick and very helpful via email. They even gave me 2 free downloads for my troubles!
It is a very good app with lots of comics.there are free comics. And the other comic books have cheap price. Unlike nowadays
Very cool app. But the free books are only like prologues and doesn't have as much content as the main comic.
Your one stop digital comic book and GN shop. The app also has motion books- the first app to implement the thing perfectly. Kudos to the devs. This app will go a long way.
It's a cool idea but it keeps saying I'm not connected and nothing loads when I open it. I know i have a solid internet connection. I really hope this gets fixed.
Visually it looks great, although I wish there were zoom levels. Some print I cannot read on my mobile because it's too small and it will not let me Zoom in to read. Also, I downloaded the app for my Surface Pro, but it won't let me download the comics I've already bought so that I can read them on my Surface. That's a shame. Guess I'll keep looking around. Update: They are correct, zoom does work. Awesome!UPDATE: Everything is working great. Zooming and the cloud account updates nicely now.
