This application will assist you in the tuning process.
Step 1: You define low A
Step 2: Compares your chanter scale with the derived 'correct' scale
Step 3: Compares your bass & tenor drones with the derived 'correct' settings
This is a simplification of the "NoteMaeven Bagpipe Tuner". The main differences are:
* the user interface has been simplified
* added support for tuning the drones
* this version is totally free; no trial limits
* this version requires a minimum Android 4.x system
Please note that most phones have some 'noise canceling' feature that can interfere with accurate measurements of your pipes. Hold your phone/tablet at lease 1 foot away from the pipes.

I've checked out all the specific pipe tuners, as well as generic tuners like gstrings. This one is by far the most accurate and intuitive. Obviously designed by someone with a knowledge of the instrument, and (as far as I can tell) no annoying ads. I'm an experienced musician and techie, although relatively new to the GHB (about a year). This app has really helped me get my drones and chanter in tune, and helped me better understand the instrument in the process.

I'm amazed it's free- this is the best bagpipe tuner I've used, and I can't think of a single thing I'd change. Just great.
This is the best darn tuner I've used, and now that i'm older the large number display is a godsend. I have a few of the expensive stand alone tuners and I occasionally go back to them, but for the most part I use this App for tuning the full Band. I've compared ti to the other Apps available and it surpasses them all in my opinion. It is a wonderful piece of software.
