Aww. I was just looking through my Google Play purchase history and found this from years ago. This game is so cute! I purchased multiple games from this developer back then, they're all very relaxing. Now I'm in the process of reinstalling them!
This one was a bit of a bore for me. It's similar to game dev story but with a few not very fun mechanics.
A wonderful and high quality. This company makes so many amazing games : )
Feel uttely the same as the other kirosoft players here re playing alot of my favs again since 2015 & this is just one of em!
i love all kairosoft game because I love tycoon game.. thus this game really great to spent your spare time
Good Enough, but it just look like the mod version of game dev story.
It won't even let me play it says can't open data
Fun Game That Reminds Me Of Game Dev Story,But With Catchy Music😊
I enjoyed this game back when I originally rated it in 2014, but now with a new phone (Essential phone), it's extremely annoying to play due to the fact that the button presses seem to be offset on all Kairosoft games I have tried this far. You have to press quite a distance away from the actual buttons for it to register the clicks. I'd like to see this fixed so I can continue enjoying their games.
Its pritty much game dev story with a few tweeks giving it more depth I would have given it 5 stars but it not great on my tablet (Motorola XOOM) it works fine on my phone but its really slow on the tablet and I can't speed anything up by tapping or holding the screen on it if theres an update to fix it I'll give it 5. Nice job.
Definitely not as awesome as all of the other Kairosoft games. I hate to say that, because it tries so hard to be like Game Developer... but honestly lacks all of the charm and humor. People can't relate to magazine editors like they can to old games and developers. And it's fairly confusing. Almost through a full game and still don't quite get the mechanics and math. Going to keep trying, tho. :)
Ever since picking up Game Dev Story, I've been in love with Kairosoft's predictably amusing and addicting mechanics. Magazine Mogul brings back the classic formula of managing individual team members and combining ideas to create a smash-hit creative product. It's a spiritual successor to Game Dev Story, and the addition of field research, and town management (through the Council) gives the game slightly more depth and replay-value. With that said, it's a shame the game has to be run in 'performance' mode (no anti-aliasing) and grinds to a crawling slide-show during the end-of-year Awards segment. Hopefully this is only due to my HTC One (M7) using 4.4.2 (Sense 6.0). 4 stars for a solid Kairosoft release.
Its a Kairosoft game, so it is entertaining even if just more of the same old thing. However, this game crashes repeated unlike any other app I have installed. Sadly, I didn't realize how bad it was until the refund period was over.
Again, over looking the graphics you'll find an entertaining publishing simulation that would entangle your attention for hours to come! As expected from Kairo Soft (the developer who's got most money from my wallet), titles such as this never fails to deliver mobile gaming goodness in low-res glory. That said, the repetitive formula is coming to its tiring end (Game Dev. Grand Priz. Pocket Stable to name a few). What captured a loyal fandom is now long lost, and this time not in translation.
Just like every other Kairosoft game (I have them all) this is a great time waster which whittles the hours away quickly. Quite good on the battery but the phone does get a little hot
Only thing is past year 20, generating income is no longer a challenging aspect of the game. At full staff things really slow down. Nonetheless I had a fun 24 hours with this game.
I recently upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy s2 to the s5, and installed the game on my new device; it runs worse on the s5 than it did on the s2! It runs very slowly, and seems to drop a lot of frames - it looks like it runs at an average of 10-15 FPS (frames per second). The other Kairosoft games that I've since tried also run poorly, so none of them are playable! All of the other games developed by other teams have worked much better on the s5, so... I beg of you: PLEASE FIX THIS!
This game really makes me addicted so much. I played until midnight to reach the highest score from selling magazines. I always play like that. Besides the enjoyment i got, i also learn how to control the magazine company. So excited !
Why do you need Internet to play the game, check license occasionally. Airplane mode doesn't even work. Impossible to play games without wifi or cell signal. Ridiculous not to be able to play offline
Its much different than the building of towns but I like this more. So much fun and no ads at all :D
I don't mind paying for something I enjoyed and the lite version gave me a feel for what the game is like. It's fun.
I love every kairosift game I have ever purchased. The games are fun, engaging, addictive and have the best replay value of any game I have ever played.
I upgraded my android to kit kat and now all my Kairosoft games (4+) are extremely laggy and sluggish. Please start to make the game playable on the latest version of Android.
Game style is very similar to game dev story with some major enhancement. Extremely addictive as most kairosoft games. A must buy esp. When they are having sales.
I love the simple graphic but quite complex gameplay. A really good game. Couldn't stop playing it.
This is the best Kairosoft game since Game Dev Story. You don't need to build anything here.
I love the game, but after I reset my phone it is having issues downloading again and was curious if I could have a refund.
Waited soooooo long but this was worth the wait. Can not wait for the next game. And again still waiting for the next game. Know your a small company but does it really take this long to translate games
As always, Kairosoft delivers another great simulation game. Magazine Mogul reminds me when i was a magazine journalist. Perfect game mechanics.
It's really easy compared to some of the others. Other than that it's really fun and addicting. It's runs smoothly and there doesn't seem to be any problems with it. I personally love it!
