The Magellan TRX app gives you an intuitive trip planner, a rich trail database, freedom to record and customize your own trail rides, and connectivity with myTRXjournal, a cloud-based trail database where you and other TRX community users can search, expand, and improve the database of over 82,000 official trails and user-generated tracks to share adventures, knowledge, and experiences.
Explore Off-Road Destinations.• Discover off-road trails in the TRX basemap across the U.S. and Canada, including 82,000+ routable US Forest Service Motor Vehicle trails and many more.• Search for trails and OHV attractions, such as parks and points of interest (POIs), by name, location, zip code, and coordinates.• Browse through a selection of trails near you or your destination on the detailed topographic TRX basemap or in a comprehensive list containing trail attributes and distance away from your current location.• Save trails and their map areas to your Wish List to ride later.
Plan Off-Road Trips.• Sync trails and POIs that you’ve saved to your Wish List with myTRXjournal, the TRX online planning and sharing tool, whenever you’re connected to Wi-Fi.• Create and share customized trips as a collection of your favorite track recordings.• Save the map around your trails and ride confidently with or without cell coverage.• Upload .gpx files to myTRXjournal, where they instantly become routable tracks with waypoints in your Log, which you can access anytime on your TRX app.

crashes Everytime i try to open
It crashes on a Moto Z when you try to go to maps. The right idea is there just needs more work.
Where do i find koh2018 trails I would like all of Cali but job tr ails will do for now
App won't stop after you exit. Dashboard unit might be nice, but this app has to go.
App should have ability to exit or stop from running in background

This app constantly freezes on my LG g3.. It is completely unusable and if I ever open it I can not close the app, I have to restart my phone. It sounds great in concept but is completely useless if every time I open it I have to restart my phone
Constantly fails to run, user unfriendly, no trails shown.
So far the app works well on my S7 but there are some issues I've encountered and things I wish Magellan would change. When you create a trail and add marks such as "stay left" and try to backtrack that same trail, the point does not reverse since you are approaching it from the opposite way which is dangerous. The map would also be alot more useful if it had a satellite imagery overlay option and audible waypoints should automatically read aloud when you approach them in a set range. Otherwise I like it
Maps are slow to load, app clears my account data, and the subscription price jumped from $35 to $200! This app is no longer on my phone.
I was hoping that it would show trails of other users that have been to a ohv park that I searched for. Nope. All I have noticed is that they merged the yellow pages app with a GPS app. And $200 for the premium version is a tad steep.
Thinks I am in LA. My permissions are all good. Nothing wrong with my phone. This is an app issue. I see others have been experiencing this. Love the concept but needs a lot of work.
Doesn't work without cell reception, which is 90% of trails I go on.

Glad I get to update my review on this app - I purchased the premium version and had a lot of trouble getting it to work, and a bad customer service experience with Magellan at first - luckily persistence paid off and I was finally able to get in touch with a real person that seemed to care about the problems and about correcting the bad customer service experience. I give the app a 4, because it needs a lot more users and interaction with the wheeling public for it to work better (trails need our input and notes so you know what you are getting into) but overall I think the app has a lot of potential if it is adopted and used by the 4 wheeling community.
Magellan Exploring TRX online shows all the trails while this app shows virtually none. I was hoping to be able to save trail maps and use this app during riding.

Please find a way to make this program's smaller. At 334 megabytes my phone finally said no, I don't have enough room.

Can't close the app. GPS stays on. Not good.
What's the point of this app if it won't direct me to a trail? I hit the follow button and it shows me an ad for the TRX7 instead.
