Magic Card Designer

First of all, everyone having a problem with it crashing, change the app's permissions to allow storage. The only app on the market that lets you create a magic card. It hasn't been updated in a while. No planeswalker frames. No split card, flip card, color artifact, or enchantment creature frames. No full art frames or the ability to input your own supertypes. No generic mana symbols > 9. Very good overall. It just needs an update.

This used to be a great app, even with having relatively few features. I recently upgraded my phone, however, and now the app doesn't work at all (Galaxy S9+). I can design a card, add art, do everything, but as soon as I click "Generate Card," the app crashes and closes. I tried emailing support about it and never heard back from them. Very disappointing, considering I used to use this app quite regularly.

An update would be nice, but either way, if it gets an update or not, the app is fully capable of creating custom MTG cards. All of the text can be replaced , even down to the artist name, flavor text, set name(all mtg set symbols to choose from). I've designed a whole commander deck with this app. if you enjoy magic the gathering and youre creative, this is for you.

Noticing a similar problem for all the people using this app. There's a bit of an issue involving the card generation system. The reason for this that I've found is that the app never seems to ask permission for using... Anything, really. The solution: go into your permissions, and just let it access things like your gallery and storage. I did this and managed to get it to work. Other than that little mishap, it's a great app. Love the system, and the fonts and other stuff are very accurate.

Terrible. Don't bother installing as the main feature (making the cards) fails every single time. EDIT: I recently went back to this to see if anything had changed and found out that you had to give the app storage permission from setting so I've decided to give it 4 as it would have been better if the app explained that

This is horrible! I spent 20 minutes making a card that would be cool. I finished, and pressed " Generate Card " aaaaannndddd the game crashed. " Ok " i thought. " This is is a one time thing, right? " Nope. Everytime I try to generate the thing crashes. I have uninstalled so many times and even reset my phone but nope. Crashes everytime.

First, the good: •Symbols are easy to insert •Simple overall Now, the bad: •You can't use color-specific dual color borders. •You can't create planeswalkers, tokens, or flip cards. •You can't format the text. •You can't use custom set symbols. This app could be good, but the devs were lazy and probably abandoned it.

Everytime I try to create a card it just says "an error occurred", as well it will not let me post images from my gallery. other than that I love the formatting and how it works, think it's really well made other than that fatal flaw, which defeats the purpose of the app.

🧙‍♂️App works great. But you'll need to set your folders first. Not hard but not the most intuitive. Croping could stand some work. I just work up the photo's in a nother app first.🤓 Other then that I'm loving it. Needs a pro version with Planswalkers. 🤟

Could not generate a card. Everything I want in a card app but when I try to use the generate tab the app would freeze and shut down. when sending feedback I was not able to send any text with my log file. Will try again as soon as it will run on my S8 plus.

Frusterated that this app was useless as it kept crashing and not generating anything, I was ready to give up. Here is how to make it work On your device, open the main Settings app Tap Apps or Application Manager (depending on your device, this may look different). Tap Permissions or App permissions. If you can't find App permissions, you may need to tap an App or Privacy and safety App permissions. Tap storage permission. Turn permissions on.

Used to be excellent, now it can't open any image unless you share to this app, and you cannot generate or save your design because app crashes. If the app gets repaired and vdeveloper responds to this review (so I get notified), I'll happily switch my rating to 5-star and update it. Cheers!

I see a lot of people complaining about that it crashes when they try to save a card, basicially to fix that, you need to manually allow the app access to your storage, as it doesnt ask for some reason, otherwise a nice, but barebones app

Since I upgraded to an Android 10 phone, it doesn't appear to work. Though I'm sure the app works fine on older versions of Android, my current experience is one star: app crashes back to main menu when it tries to generate card

It's pretty bad, no planeswalker option, really stiff finiky image importing, textbox doesn't auto fit, cards don't export well and THOSE are issues from 2 years ago. It just doesn't work anymore, really sad it's the only custom card app on here

Works well and has a good template for cards. Croping picture sometimes doesnt work well but try again and it does. Doesnt allow full art template or high definition pictures but works simple and easy. .

The other reviews are right. App crashes when exporting a card, and it doesn't seem like there are any other ways of getting your design out, so this is pretty useless.

NEEDS an update badly. I used to love this app. I used it a lot. But its been crashing every single time you hit the "Generate Card" button. This app is literally useless until they fix it.

There should be an option for Multicolored card borders to be in colors aside from gold, and you should be able to change the card's set symbol. Aside from that, the app is good. You add two toned borders and this review becomes a five star!

Scaling and cropping the image doesn't work the greatest but easy to use and generate fun card concepts. i would add layers to the card image insert and make it possible to make better card artwork with the app itself.

App crashes whenever you try and save the card, which means you cant use the app at all.

No sooner do i hit generate card app crashes, not once...not twice....10 freakin times with using different pics, power and toughness scales, mana needed, flavor text/tap abilities. Fail app. Stick with yugi card maker

Used on a Galaxy S9. I attempted to make a card three times and everytime I hit generate it sent me back to the main menu. Wouldn't bother with again.

App is pointless. It crashes once you tap "generate card". Doesnt work at all, no matter how much or little info is on it.

Tried making a few attempts at a design, then it says something went wrong and I lost everything 4 times in a row.

Amazing app! It has been crashing, and support for cards like Planeswalkers and double sided cards would be appreciated, but other than that, it's a great app!

The app looks like it's 10 years old, and when I went to generate my card after about 10 mins , it went back to the home screen and deleting all my work in the process.

Awful. Doesn't even work. Can't add art. And when I try to generate a card, it just crashes. What a waste. Uninstalled.
