Magic Dog

MagicDog is the best way to recognize an unknown dog's breed. All you have to do is take a photo of the dog or upload it from your gallery, and within a few seconds you'll get all the information about it.
Take a photo of the dog, upload the image, and then MagicDog will tell you everything about it. You'll receive information about the dog's breed, its size, its life span, specific traits, and typical behavior.

MagicDog uses a unique artificial intelligence software. Thanks to it you can now always carry an automatic breed-identifier with you.

What else you will find in the application:
- breed
- description of its appearance
- life span
- typical traits and specific behavioral habits
- history of origin

Download the application now while it's free and has no ads!

Each time I took a different picture of my dog Charlie they kept giving me different breeds of large dogs. My dog us small 16 pounds not 40-60 pound dog breeds. Oh well maybe its wrong. My dog looks more like a Dashund but they keep changing the possibility of my dogs breeds based on the picture taken. Not sure how accurate it is. I will keep trying

From one picture it can't get a good enough idea I can get a better idea what breed my aunt's dog is with out the app the only useful thing was that instead of a golden retriever it brought up the possibility he's another type of retriever. I literally found a pic of a dog that I knew what type it was as a test and it said it was a something crazy (I'm not listing names cause I'd spell them wrong XD) any ways sorry but the app wasn't for me...

Unable to use the "load a picture" function, but taking a picture in the app works. Also might be helpful if you could put in weight on the dog, as it cannot gauge their size appropriately from one pic. But it's actually pretty cool and accurate on its guesses!

I love this app! Being in dog rescue we come across many mixed breeds & all sorts of mutts so its super helpful getting a possibility of what their breed could be. Although it's not always correct, it's still super helpful. Since the computer or whoever is running the app cannot see the dog in person and can't what it really looks like, the picture definitely needs to be perfect. For example, if you take a picture of a Doberman but the camera is directly over its head then it may think its a Chi or Min Pin

My dog is a large black and white dog. The breeds it gave me looked nothing like her and I'm confused as to where they're pulling these assumptions from. If I could make a recommendation to the app developers, make some filters available, such as size or weight or even maybe age?

Good App, needs work. One problem is i am unable to load a picture, says it is just unable to load. Works good when taking a photo, came pretty close most of the time, I tried it on a mixed bred and it did identify both breeds the main and 2nd option were correct.

It works fine but is only about 10% accurate. I down loaded pics of 100% pure breed dogs and it was unable to identify anitolians, blue heelers amongst several other breeds. Wish it was more accurate.

Told me one of my hairless chinese cresteds was a viszla, and my other hairless crested was a maltese. Hahaha. Horrible.

App unfortunately won't upload images already saved to my device. The camera is functional, but I don't have a dog at home to test it out on.

It tried to say my dog was this little thing where as she has a mother's full 9f pointed teeth and is the smallest of her litter. At 18 months she is 50lbs. Don't think the app is accurate

Perfectly identified my Newfoundland, Chesapeake Bay retriever mix, and my other dogs too. Those of you complaining that it shows dogs that are too big for yours (maybe you have a midget dog) LOL :D

Can. L. Feb 28, 2017

I tested this with a clear photo of an English Bulldog. It repeatedly identified it as either a Siberian Husky or a Great Pyrenees. Uninstalling now.

My dog is a bullboxer and it said it was everything but.

Ian. M. Feb 20, 2016

It identified our dog as a great Dane. She is a Greek cross breed that often gets mistaken for a Labrador puppy.

Sam. T. Mar 8, 2016

I tested this on my mixed breed dog, and it said all of the breeds the vet said... amazing!
