Magic Drafter

Really swell app! Downloaded it for deck testing (only app in the market that i found with free, unlimited, and lite deck goldfishing) and I wanna explore it further! There's only one BIG problem: There's no War of the Spark. Other minor bug exists in the deck test UI, and from time to time becomes unresponsive. Opening/closing menu fixes it. Finally, adding a "shuffle all to library" to GY/exile for reset effects like Emergency Powers would make testing easier. Other than that, stellar app!

It seems any card with a hyphen or comma cannot be found in the database. Makes this app worthles. Cards should be searchable

Great drafting app, works well! Plus there are newer sets than Innistrad, so it's actually relevant to use!

I dont know how to pu cards with hyphens

When is Ravnica Allegiances going to be added to limited?

Was hoping unstable would be there to draft. If unstable gets loaded as a draft option I'll give this 5 stars

still an amazing app but if freezes constantly while play testing especially after shuffling the deck or tutoring. just wish it could playtest smoother, would give it a 5 star if it wasn't for the bugs.

Looter il-Kor isn't found in database. I'll update review and add other "not found" cards as I come across any (as long as I remain interested in app).

This app has good features but is still plagued by a number of bugs. The interface is good enough that it's become my go-to for sample hands and draft sims, but it's far from perfect.

Wow. Vary cool app. Thanks. Now i have decks to play solo against. Maybe add counters?

This is a nice app. I would give it 5 stars but, the playing of the game testing the deck, it's glitchy. Fix that and I'll give it 5 stars

Fun app but you can't play test the decks due to a bad shuffle system. Either draw all lands or no lands After the update I can now have a proper starting hand. Fun app to play out draft strategies

I would love to give it a 5* but i cant because i cant even make an account i had even tried going on the web site to make an account but that doesnt work either

This app could be phenomenal if... All this thing needs is a good pre-shuffle. I wouldn't even care if I had to click shuffle a dozen times. "Test play" ha ha ha what a joke, only 0* in this. I bet you get 50k more dw's in the first week of update if you fix this problem. As far as variability towards draft randomness, I'd give 5*. This app really offers a great draft learning experience! Please the MTG Community begs you to fix the test play...Then your the shizzy for shizzness!

Edit: I don't know what happened. The shuffle engine is garbage. It wasn't this bad before. Now it's impossible to draw a playable hand in playtest. This has potential but it crashes way too much and the user interface is clunky. Work out the bugs and you've got yourself a nice product.

Gave it a 3 because UI is a little bit clunky and the shuffle on the playtest function is utter garbage, it just doesn't shuffle them at all. If these issues are fixed I'd be tossing up between a 4 and a 5, if some of the older sets were added in I'd give it a 5 easily. *Edit changed the rating to 2 as I started experiencing constant crashing from the app

Might be good one day. I've lost two drafts before I had time to test them, once by "back" taking me to the home screen, the next time by trying to use "copy" in the hope of saving, but this meant copy another deck, so lost mine. The "share" function doesn't seem to work by email. Links to a null deck. Still good for getting to know different sets / practicing the draft part of drafting.

If you fix shuffling, I'd give it 4.5 otherwise it's a great app.

Still a bit clunky, but functions with some patience. It doesn't save sideboards as separate, which is a little annoying.

Potential for greatness here, but where's the cube option?

Update: Developer reached out to me directly to address some issues I was having with the app. Within an hour he had addressed my concerns and pushed a new version of the app that corrected the bugs I was encountering. While the app still has a ways to go to be my one stop mtg app - for the time being it has some great features and it's clear the developer is passionate about this project. Give the app a try and be sure to leave the developer some constructive feedback, so that this app can continue to improve.

Great for fun drafting but it has tons of bugs requires, Internet connection, the ai drafts in idiotic ways like 10th pick mist raven. Signaling is ignored by the developers code. So if you want a way to waste a few mins of your day this is great if your looking for a tool to help you limited game don't expect much

Deck building has too many bugs. Would be better if It was possible to export decks online

The drafting part is pretty neat. I wish I could see what the other "drafters" are taking so I can know how realistic it is. The deck building part is awful became of how hard it is to organize or click cards you want and the organizing by CMC doesn't work at all. Mine goes 2-4-0-5-3-1 so trying to figure out a curve isn't worth the trouble.

I don't understand how the deck builder works. There doesn't seem to be a way to move cards into the sideboard and it organizes the cards based on how many you have of each color or CMC instead of in order of CMC like most people do when they are building a deck so they can see their mana curve. The AI doesn't seem to value cards in a realistic way, other than that the drafting portion is easy and intuitive but it would be nice to have an undo button since it doesn't take much to accidentally pick a card.
