Magic Home Pro

Since changing my hub, none of my 3 x Magic Home bulbs work with this app, (or the old version). All of my other Smart bulbs connected to my new hub without any problems using the appropriate app for these devices. My new hub is 5G dual band from Three, (ZTE) and I've attempted to connect to 2.4Ghz bandwith many times but each time I get a "failed to connect" error with a suggestion that I don't connect to 5Ghz. I'm confident that I'm attempting to connect these bulbs correctly.

Can't even log in anymore. The bulbs usually work fine but 5 of mine have disconnected and now I can't even connect them because the app won't let me sign in. I get an error code "-99" no matter what i do. Cleared the cache, restarted my phone, changed my password twice, confirmed I'm on the right WiFi and Bluetooth is enabled, Uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice. Nothing works. I am losing my mind. I can't even contact customer support on the app because it wants me to log in first.

Hell yeah. This Magic home is awesome. Read the instructions and it will save you time. The music, mic, and cinema. Is really cool. I have leds behind my tv, computer, stero, and. Currently building a ws2812b CB antenna. It's almost done. It's awesome. I'll connect my magic home to my cell phone hot spot. And I'll have a CB antenna that dances to my when I speaking over the air. GER-r-DONE. Thanks magic people. Your ad good as magic mushrooms . 🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄

Does what it should, interface could be made better by making it more aesthetically pleasing. Edit (April 2022): User Interface needs an update, c'mon people. All other smart home apps are way ahead. It's time for a revamp

Can be a major pain to get working with all devices again after a power or internet outage. Also sometimes I run into issues with it ceasing to properly communicate with Google Home and have to go through the whole process of unlinking and relinking the app with Google Home again to get it to fully function. It does it's job extremely well when it's working, I just wish I didn't have so much experience with it NOT working.

The app works great for me. The only issue is that the widget seems to always reset and not have any of my bulbs after I close and reopen my phone. It's not when the phone restarts. It happens after the phone has been locked for a while. Then when I unlock it the widget is blank.

I wish this app had more holiday options or the ability to pick more than two colors for my own program. A majority of the programs are rainbow or 7 colors and I don't always want 7 colors. It's kinda lame. I enjoy our lights and I've built my own holiday programs that I come back to, but I'd like more preset options that aren't only rainbow.

Apparently, if you have a VPN activated on your device, the wifi connection will show as disconnected. Also, you must use a 2.4 Ghz wifi connection in order for the bulbs and app to work correctly. And the device that you are using to control the app should be on the same wifi network as your lights.

Not Great!!, download the app and signed up won't connect to Wi-Fi cannot even find the LEdxxx as it won't sync, unplugged the connectable party lights, turned router off reset my phone, reinstalled the app, and still cannot find the network, I have 2 sets of IR leads tried swapping them around nothing works, not very user friendly certainty not plug and play, directions are not great, the IR is approx 2m from the router

Update 08 FEB 2022; the 65.6ft LED light kit '1-2 splitter WiFi controller' has to be reconfigured every day AND it is not a guarantee that it will connect. It also has limited function in the app or with the remote controller. I can only turn it on or off and use red lights. It is garbage after 6 months! The second 1-2 splitter I purchased is garbage after 3 days of using it. The 32ft LED light kit I purchased years ago has never stopped working properly.

Works only 1 day at a time. I have to constantly re-plug my devices every day because it "cannot connect to the device". App used to work just fine, switched over to a new internet provider and thought this was the issue. Completely removed all devices and even deleted and reinstalled the app. Logged back in and manually re-added all my devices (yes on 2.4ghz network) and this worked for about 3 days and now it's back to square 1. Now I'm considering using other devices with a different app ☹️

Terrible app and product. None of the colors match on the little remote that came with it. And it's exactly the same on the app. If I go to green on the color wheel, it changes to pink on the lights. Etc etc. Emailed their support and they didn't fix my problem. Avoid.

Absolutely horrible app and support. The app keeps losing connection with the devices it controls, which means I have to constantly re-add the devices. Magic App customer support is abrasive and will blame their poor product support and lousy app on mystery power outages that have never happened. Ridiculous!

This aap works very good but I want to see a copy paste feature when you create a pattern under multicolor. Also like to get a Whitelabel version of it and want to configure all my clients through one portal. I can provide server if this feature is available?

I think a function that'd allow to change lights according to music playing in other app like Spotify or Amazon Music would be nice. As a user I'd like... xD sorry the usual. Edit: I meant sync with music while, for example, using headphones :(

Not able to log in any more, getting an error 99 everytime I try to log in. Changed password, Uninstalled and Reinstall app and still nothing. Very disappointing.

Shows offline with Google home. Have unlinked and relinked account many times and still doesn't work. Every other device on Google home works. Magic home is terrible going to find something else

I really like at first but when I saw DIY led there wasnt plenty choice the function for the led glow is the same as cheap LED I could buy but except for custom option (by no mean) i really want the smooth glow look I saw once on tiktok I really had and still have high hopes on this, please if you guys can make smooth glow option I would be so much glad. It's a wonderful LED still... I rated 4 not 5 cuz it's missing the smooth and other amazing glows...

Can't sign in to add another light bulb it keeps saying error code-99 unknown error. Guess I'm tossing this in the trash and buying a brand that actually works.

Why advertise Bluetooth if I can't use it? I bought the lights that said they would work with Bluetooth because I don't want to use WiFi and there's no way I can connect them to the app without WiFi. False advertising much? Will be returning these to Amazon.

At first it was working perfectly but then it said my LEDs are offline. It works really well despite the bugs I would say it's a good app.

Can't connect to control from my phone anymore after power outage it will not connect even after rebooting app and reconnecting to wifi
