Magic Mansion

Fun game. Quite challenging even with the limited types of obstacles. Not sure what the point is of changing characters as they all seem to perform the same. Nothing wrong with that. I like simplistic 1 button games. So this one will be staying on my phone for a while.

such a challenging game! the people who rate it so low should know that it is their own incompetence in failing to appreciate such a masterpiece. the art style is beautiful and the music amazing. i love this game and it really keeps me hooked on for the times i want a small break from studies. can't play it for too long but that's how arcade games should be. this is perfection! nice work develpers. i have been following nitrome games since the last 7 years and i love all the games you make :D

Pretty nice game! Very simple and minimal but also super cute! 💕 I love the art style and I play it when I'm bored. Just the right amount of challenging to get your brain running! I would rate it a 5 star if there were more features though 😅 Overall, great game. Really liked it 👍

I didn't really like the fact you don't have full control of your character. You basically become sort of a pinball going left to right or vice versa & your only real "ability" is to jump over stuff or hope you can. I'd like to have the option of directly controlling my character which this doesn't give you. It makes it too hard to play without this.

Pretty hard game but it's a pretty good time waster, it has that flappy bird kind of feel but it has a lot more stuff going on in it. Skippable ads as well!

I've paid for no ads, but since I got a new phone the ads are back. Purchases I make should be linked to my account, like the actual game - not to my phone.

I like this game a lot but I have to sign in with Google Play games after every game and there's a glitch when you get stuck on a ladder and it just keeps going until you exit the game.

Simple and to the point. The controls feel a little stiff. Nice design though.

love the graphics but thats all, this is very boring and painfully hard i mean i love hard games but this is not fun, it makes no sense.

a good game but the music stops in a while and it is too hard to play.

there's bug that got when climb ladder , character keep going up until reach 400+ floor (in position stay in ladder) then become black screen , and glicth

I would have liked this game more if I could've had full control of the character's movements.

Nice game everyone should try it, developers of this game probably can create a superb arcade game.

Hard to play.

This game has a lot of potential considering I played to get all characters. My only issue is that I feel like I spend more time staring at a glitched screen than actually playing. I have plenty of screenshots of how bad these glitches can get,even lagging my phone. If that issue is fixed I think this would get much better reviews.

this game has sooo much potential, but the controls are holding it back! I think the game would be better if you could move yourself manually and if you could jump higher. most of the enemy's you have to get REALLY close to in order to jump over them, that's why having a bigger jump would be better. and if you could move the character with some simple arrow keys the game would be much easier to play! also, the canons are to op. they move to quickly much like the other mobs in the game to jump over. PLEASE FIX and I'll add some more stars

I'm surprised this didn't get the fame Flappy Bird had. I mean, the formula is there, simple art design, seemingly impossible feats, and quick retry button (albeit with a possibility of continue at the expense of in game currency or ads) Really though, those guys who played Flappy Bird should play this better more complicated version of it XD and the art is definitely better too!

The monochromatic art on the Google Play store had me excited for a Harry Potter-style adventure, but "Magic Mansion" is nothing like that. You presumably enter the magic mansion, but apart from your witch character, nothing is magical about the building. It looks more like a creature-infested office building where fun dies. You climb the endless building, jumping over various objects and creatures, but nowhere is magic involved. I had hopes for magic duels, intricate platforming, and maybe a story, but no.

4 stars bc bugs. I'm not getting achievements that I should be, and there's a never ending ladder glitch that completely crashes the game. Other than that, simple but challenging game. Levels get harder as you get higher in the tower. For those that say game is too hard, you just gotta try harder & get used to the control. Update - got the never ending ladder glitch again, took some fun screenshots. Glitch maybe happened when I tried using the external volume controls on my phone.

Not sure how, but this has become my favorite one finger game, of the dozens I've tried. It might be the spot on Game Boy graphics and music, or the cuteness of the characters, or the deceptively high level of difficulty. It's just plain great. Note to all those who say it's too hard: git gud.

The stiff and unforgiving controls really clash with the permadeath, resulting in frustrating gameplay... which is a shame! I really really like the style and the graphics, but the game is horribly frustrating. And especially with Leap Day around, this gameplay seems unnecessary. It's a shame, but I hope to see that style and that dang adorable witch again in some other game!

Part of me loves the overall presentation of this game. The other part hates this frustrating gameplay. If reminds me of Moon Patrol for Atari 2600, but worse: the bounding boxes seem weird, and the split-second precision can't be achieved on touch screens.

I think that this game is great. The graphics and the music are really good. I'm also perfectly fine with this you-can-only-jump mechanic. For me this would be the perfect game but there are few bugs. I would like to report them but there isn't a 'report' or 'contact us' button. Please add it, so I can easily report bugs.
