A recent update removed the ability to set the color of a light in a scene by dragging the light icon over a photo. In effect, the RGB selection for each light was easily adjustable with an eyedropper tool. Now you can't make or edit scenes smoothly. When will this be fixed? It feels like the app is fully complete and in a good spot outside of this once prominent and useful feature now being removed. It even feels like, with the new scene photo library, this feature was supposed to be present.

When it works, it's great. When it doesn't, it's awful. The setup of the bulbs is incredibly complicated and god forbid a visitor accidentally use the light switch. It will wipe out connections at random and I'm stuck using the the switch until I set aside an hour to reconnect the lights to my wifi, IF I can reconnect them to my wifi. Right now, I cannot reconnect them for whatever reason. I've followed every troubleshooting step. What a worthless product and app.

Definitely better design than V1 Widget has a major bug, and becomes just the background, a faded rounded black square. Would be great if we could submit feedback and bug reports in the app itself. Too bad the menu links all go external, instead of rendering in the app. Also, you need to fix your website so it doesn't have the port in the URL.

Limited function. Why are there only 5 spaces for color presets? It shouldn't be difficult to give the user more space here. Also, the color presets are for the whole app (and all devices using the app), rather than per bulb or device. The colors I want for one lamp are different from those I want for overhead lights. Furthermore, this doesn't allow the user to set a color for the sunset/sunrise alarm. These all seem like very simple functions.

I've had WiFi bulbs for years with this app and haven't had any notable issues or problems. On occasion it's been a little buggy, but nothing that wasn't easily resolved. I've used other apps I didn't care for, but I like this one so much that when I purchase new WiFi enabled lights, I purposely try to buy products that use this particular app. It's easy to use and has options other apps don't offer.

Well, it worked very well until yesterday. I did nothing different. But now it's junk. It just would not connect and function anymore. If I cannot fix it, (Yes, I followed the directions) I'm ditching it and your Bluetooth to replace them with Phillips Hue. I LOVED this, back when it worked. It was the perfect "alarm light". Now it's a super expensive white LED Bulb that turns on/off only at a light switch. I can buy those @ HomDepot/Lows under $5@piece. Conclusion : DO NOT BUY! WASTE OF CASH!

Initially the lights were great. For some reason (nothing changed on my end) they stopped working and were stuck on green. I tried factory reset on both bulbs and got them back online.Tech support sent me a firmware update which didn't work. I could never connect them to the internet though my router was set up perfectly. I did get control of the colors again but that quickly stopped.Tech support had been silent ever since. Not happy, won't get more. Sad I gifted a bunch to family.

This update makes the app fully useless. u can't change the color. The bulbs keeps disconnecting from the remote server so i can't change the color with Google home or alexa. Worst smart light! Zero stars Edit 15/3/2019 The problem is still there and has not been fixed. The app cannot change the color. I DO NOT recommend this app or the bulb.l especially of you're using a Google Home or Alexa devices.

You can only control the colors and functions of the bulb for a short time, then when you leave it alone long enough it just gets stuck on a color and then goes offline so you can't change it back. Worst app ever.

Two of four bulbs go offline at least once every day, making them uncontrollable until you turn the bulb off and back on. The widgets work only if you first open the app (open app, close app, use widget). Otherwise a loading icon just starts spinning until you open the app.

None of my 6 bulbs are showing up as online. Not able to turn on through Alexa and lights change from warm white to cool white every 20 seconds. Nothing is wrong with my internet either because my other smart devices are working just fine. App on current version 1.2.4

I like the idea of this light bulb, but it's buggy. I'm using this in my 3 year old's room as an "ok to wake" signal: off is time to sleep, red is be quiet, green is ok to wake. He knows this. Problem: in the middle of his nap today, he started yelling. I set the light to red...but when he kept yelling and we went to his room, the light was green instead. I double checked the app, and it still was set to red. Sometimes it turns bright white while he's sleeping, too. Not happy; may return.

The camera function (now cinema) is extremley laggy and unusable I prefered the way it was before the recent update. My lights now keep disconnecting every 10 to 30 min until the eventually dont even get recognize by the app anymore and I have to factory reset. WHAT HAPPENED??

I honestly don't know why there are so many people giving this app negative reviews. It's a very simple and lightweight app that serves a purpose of turning your lights on and off with an array of options and features. The bugs and hiccups that come and go are attempts to accommodate every user and the users device. Obviously you can't satisfy everyone. I appreciate the development of your app, I'm satisfied.

Everything is hooked up. Whenever I try to use this app it crashes my whole internet and wifi... have to reboot an expensive router that's been working consistently.

This is a TERRIBLE...TERRIBLE POS app. I've had a 40w equivalent bulb for over a year. Never once made it through a month without having to reset at least 2x. Bought a 4-pk of 60w equivalent from Amzn a few months ago and same MF'n problem. I literally have to reset/reconnect 5 bulbs a few times a month. Beyond frustrated... btw my wifi is fine, these bulbs forget where they are, or the app forgets to remind them. Steer clear if you can afford alternatives.

Edit: March 17 update 1.2.3 corrects all the stated issues. Resolved issue within 2 days. Changed rating to 4 stars from 1. Original: March update causes loss of most color control on the bulbs. ROLL IT BACK. I have 5 of your bulbs. This is ridiculous! Fix it or you need to refund all 5 bulbs. 🤬

Updated 3/16 broke the app. Blue white was only available color and now I have one stuck on this blue white and one stuck on red. Does the program or even test the stupid app before releasing it and forcing users to upgrade??

Great light and app to have. Many features..auto on/off dimmer function. Tons of color choices.👍
