The app is broken on Android, I tried using my phone to set up the extender and no matter how many times I tried it wouldn't work (Huawei Mate 10). So I had to borrow my sister's iPhone XR and do it there instead, and the app on iOS worked and I was able to do it, and the extender works great. I'm not sure what they broke on the Android version, but it doesn't work here and you basically need to have an iPhone to use this product.
Was not the product that was labeled as easy to install. Talked with help desk, they determined it was faulty device, expecting a replacement will give a review on the that when and if it is a reliable product. So far not satisfied on the item purchased.
OMG, can this app get any more confusing.? ... "Connect your mobile to the network "WiFi Repeater", then press the checkmark ... "WiFi Repeater" does NOT come up at all in my Wifi list .. I have the Wifi Repeater connected directly to the PC via the RJ45 port, my modem is connected to the PC via Wifi connection. WHY is the setup not working.? Grrrrr... Answer please!
Same problem as Mr. Flex Brown: Maginon WiFi 753 extender is piece of JUNK (the app AND the physical item itself) gets one star because can not give it no stars." I give it a big fat 🖕!" Oh, it'll read the WiFi, but it will tell you "no connection". If you see this message, save your money for a REAL WiFi extender made in USA instead. I tried installing and re-installing the software 5 times but no luck to make it work. What we should expect from Made in China. I purchased it today and return it tomorrow to get my money back
Great app and device. Works exactly as expected. The app made installation quick and simple. Make sure to read the booklet that comes with the device. Takes less than 5 minutes to do everything if you read the instructions.
I changed my wifi password and the app won't let me change the password, so now it's not working. I tried to download on my PC and it's stating that it's not compatible.
I wasted hours and called for support. Their support is fast and friendly but the Wi-Fi extender just doesn't work. i purchased it from Aldi for 30 bucks. taking it back.....
The app won't connect to the extender. Everything's on but it just keeps telling me that there's no extender found.
A barely useful app for a even less useful device. Nie wieder.
My Maginon WLAN Repeater User Manual has 40 pages. 40 pages of dense impenetable jargon.
Easy install and seems to be working as intended.
Only needed to set the device up after that uninstall

Our extender, the 760-AC model, had stopped working; kept saying "Failed to Obtain IP Address." I pressed the Reset button while device was plugged in and turned on (a bit tricky), did what the app instructed, and it's back to working perfectly. Note that I didn't see anything in the manual about the Reset button, but I saw it on the device, used my brain and trial & error, and solved the problem.
Took about an hour to connect product to a device enable to be installed. Then even though the Wifi signal showed as excellent, you either couldn't connect anything to it, or once it was connected the signal kept disconnecting and dropping.

Can't get it connected. Not good I give it 1 star. Wasted my money.
Never could get it connected piece of junk will not work. I recommend not buying it. I tried everything to get it to work but nothing wasted my money. But I will keep trying maybe just maybe I can get it to work and salvage my hard eared money.
Doesn't connect because it's in the wrong ip range of my router and I can't change it
it did okay it does exactly what it was supposed to do its just kind of annoying because you have to reset it every day

I loaded the app more for curiosity since I had already set up the Wi-Fi extender manually without problems. REALLY pleased with that! The app, however, would not work until I realized that I had already changed the WIFI extender's password and the app is not able to deal with that. My only comment is that should be an available option.
