When it works, it's great. I just had LASIK and need help until I get new reading glasses. This is perfect for reading labels and fine print while out and about. My only complaint is having to hit the auto-focus button off and then back on to get it to focus. I wish I could just tap where I want it to focus on the screen instead.
Brilliant app! Does exactly what it claims. My late night and early morning reading will be stress-free from now on! ⭐ I noted the comments of other reviewers and I can honestly say I've not had the same problems. I'd suggest, in their cases, user and/or phone error. 👍🏻 I love the contrast option too! (You won't get that by using just your camera.) 😉
I have read reviews that say it is just as easy to use your camera, in my case I struggled for hours to take a photo with my LG G5 so I could read the small print. No matter what settings I used I could not get the text in Focus. I downloaded this app and hey presto, everything was as clear as a bell. So for all you other over 50s who can't read small text, this is a lifesaver. I didn't read any instructions and within a minute had it all worked out.
This app makes my phone as long sighted as I am. Has a focal length of 30cm(12") and the zoom is not incremental it's two stage. My phone camera was actually way more useful as a magnifier than this app.
Fast and easy to open, easy to use, effective, a great app. Have used it to read labels with tiny print, and even to remove splinters!
As soon as you open the app it starts making loud beeping noise for no apparent reason. I couldn't find a way to stop the noise, and I struggled to close the app. Adverts seem to be on the screen the whole time.
Perfect! I use it for the small print used in fast food ads. The light really helps and the print is very clear.
IMHO, I have to agree with the review below(DarcyDB). Though the app is easy enough to use. It's not any different from using your cellphone camera & zoom. It's also very blurry. Sorry. Not for me. 😔
Really difficult to use, rubbish interface. Just couldn't make it work. Also very intrusive ads. Other apps MUCH better.
Love this app. i can READ and SEE ALL the small print on grocery items, Menus's,and anthing else I want to read/see. All I need is my LG phone and this wonderfull app that even has a light!! THIS APP IS PERFECT.Thank you so much.y
Terrible focus when trying to read small print even after I hit the focus button, ad's small, designed to be used as wide screen.
Plays sounds, but no volume or mute controls? That's a serious no-no. The magnifier is fine, but I'll install a quiet app.
i absolutly LOVE UR APP. im 57 and wear reading glasses.but i cant read small print on paint cans , Med bottles or food labels. Thank You for doing something we all take for granted our whole lives . P.S i also use it for an excuse frm the War Dept. when she catches me checkin out Beautifull Women. married 35 yr. now
Love it! it's awesome for reading small print on the back of OTC medicine bottles and other items with very small print.
images are unclear, (in this case, reading) due to poor focus, 'auto focus' inoperable.
This magnifier does an excellent job. it has named me out more than once on really fine print. I recommend this to everyone.
This isn't focusing on words at all. There's many more to try and I'll eventually find the right app compatible with my droid.
Don't waste your time. Just take a photo with your camera or video & zoom in. Better quality that way.
Just what I needed to make my smartphone even more valuable to me. Now when my eyeglasses are not quite enough I have the solution immediately at hand.

Doesn't really work that well. Doesn't want to focus and far better magnify apps out there.
The fine print i was trying to read didn't come in focus. Defeated the point of installing the app.

I look for rocks and fossil whenever I get the chance, creek beds, around stores and wherever they dump gravel and this app helps when I want to get a closer look at something
Ad's obscured view, pressed + too many times and couldn't find how to -
It also overheats your phone really quick, maybe I'm less happier than I thought with It. I'm thinking I'm going check some other 1s out. It would be nice if all the stuff on the right hand side of the screen could be brought up and taken down off the screen. So then you can use the whole screen to read with instead of 1/3 of the screen & take up half of the bottom with ads! Can you please do that with your next update of this app. Thank you from an almost blind person.
