Magnifier Pro

This is a must have app. I use it all the time at restaurants to read the menu, or to read the fine print on labels. It doubles as a flashlight app too. Had problems with it at one point (auto-focus issues) but then realized it was a problem with the settings, not the app. Still using it after several years. Great app!

Best magnifier app. What I like about this app is as you move it, it automatically focus on what you read. Sometimes if it's out of focus you tap on the screen and focus back again. You can hit freeze and it freezes what you are looking at so you can better read it. Also you can save a pic at what you are looking at. The magnification itself is very good. I think it may be 15X. My camera is 10X and this app gets even closer so I am just estimating the magnification.

By Far and Away this is simply the best magnifying program I have ever used. Eyewear bifocal glasses, but I don't like wearing them around. So I often find myself at a store where I need to read the label with the small print on the back of items. And this program helps beyond a shadow of a doubt, and also helps to make it look like I am not illiterate. I also use it on electronic parts to find the part numbers on chips and such. If you're looking for a magnifying program I highly suggest this.

Very handy. If I'm trying to read the directions on a package, rather then go fetch a magnifying glass, I use the app. I'm giving it only four stars instead of five because I put the phone down for a minute with the app open, & when I picked it up again it wouldn't focus. Closing & reopening the app fixed it, but I can't help wondering whether there was some procedure I should have followed but didn't know about.

Was satisfied with the free app but went ahead and paid for the ad free version. Got irritated when I saw the ad bar at the bottom but managed to ignore it. However, the full-blown commercials each time I close the app is unacceptable. Refund requested.

I've been using this app for a long time. I can't see the small stuff like I could when I was younger and this app has been a godsend. I was perfectly happy with the free version but I liked the app so much I wanted to support the developer by purchasing the pro version. Money well spent. The only change I'd like to see is probably a limitation of android, but if I'm using the led and take a snapshot, the led turns off while the shutter is open.

Even with reading glasses, some things are just better to view magnified and often saved. This app does both for me and has never let me down. From small instruction sheets to circuit boards, I wouldn't want to go through a day without this app!

If you thought zooming in with your camera was sufficient to magnify small, low contrast labels on electronics, you don't know what you're missing. This app can help you every bit as much as the flashlight feature on yiur phone. 5 stars!

Found this app very useful especially when you forget your glasses. Has other useful features such as freeze which is like taking a snapshot but no picture to delete later. Magnifier works really well as long as you hold it still to get the focus.

Unfocused blur for £2.50! Was kind of ok although the settings for degree angle always changes itself. Having paid for this I'm disappointed how the quality has reduced so much! Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Checked settings. Better quality just to zoom in on basic photo this I now useless! Doesnt even focus!

This app. is brilliant, have not yet tried the camera but would expect it to be as good as the magnifier which has allowed poor vision to read tiny LED control display of other electronic equipt. Two different glass mags. were useless. Thankyou developer.

I've tried many, this the best. I've now used it 18 months. I recently had problems with phone but uninstalling and reinstalling this app fixed it. Magnifier Pro allows my old eyes to see and record part numbers on tiny DIP packages.

Samsung Galaxy S8, Oreo 8.0.0 - This app is GREAT! The app is reliable, simple to use, and feature rich. I tried a number of other magnifier apps, but always kept coming back to this one. I have severe near sight eyes and can't see distant view well. This application helps me greatly. I can read restaurants posted menus with it and use it a lot of things.I highly recommend it.

A great help for my aging eyes. I use it quite often to read fine print as well as for deciphering maker's marks on small items. Fast and easy to use.

I have used this app for many years. I enjoy the fact that I can do men in real time and then capture images as I need them and decide whether to save them or not. Doesn't have a lot of purpose to social media or anything but as a magnifying glass is really awesome.

I received some scrap gold jewelry that belonged to my grandmother so that I may take them to a gold buyer. I used this app to read the karat of some gold pieces and it was the clearest and most useful app to have for a jeweler's loupe. I even spent an hour on one item to confirm its karat and no other app did as well as this one did to determine its worth. Definitely worth the Pro purchase!

I have some vision difficulties at times due to a cornea issue. This app helps me read on the days I can't see well. I use it for any small print. It's nice and handy on my phone anytime.

Exceptionally useful and easy to use. Small token for the developer to keep ads out.

Only con is it loses focus. Restarting the app brings the object back into focus. It would be nice if a tap on the screen would force a refocus, like the camera works.

i like this app before. It worked perfectly without any problem in my samsung note 8. However, the invert function is not working fafer upgrade to samsung note 10 plus.

When I need to magnify something, this app ALWAYS comes through. Just last week my neighbor couldn't ready the faded small serial number on her laptop to submit for warranty and I was able to use Magnifier Pro to get that info. Great product!!
