Mahjong King

Enjoyable game with pretty large puzzles that take a bit of time. My only complaint would be that I prefer a puzzle with all the tiles lit up, not what the developer has chosen. By lighting up only certain tiles, it seems like you run out of matches fairly often. Then they auto shuffle so the skill to avoid shuffling, isn't there. I guess the time it takes to finish a puzzle is how they rate your performance.

Better than others I tried: however, still not exactly what I "want". I'd *like* to find an "old-school" version that the traditional ("dragon") layout, plus a few more, with the option to also design your own; plus, the option to choose which "seed" you play...i.e., like a Windows 3.1 version of "Taipei". Having said that - at least this one has a zoom feature, as well as a choice of tile sets.

The best Mahjong app there is! There's no annoying ads that pop up in the middle of your game. If you get to a point where you have no more moves, you don't need to watch an ad to shuffle the board or pay any sort of premium currency. It's simple, easy, and fun. I have deleted and redownload it several times to reset my progress after playing through all the levels so I could play it all over again! My only recommendation would be the option to watch an ad to unlock the additional levels too.

This game offers good levels with a lot of choices for boards, you can select whatever board You want to do at any time without having to go through different levels to do so. But there is very limited customization. You can only select 4 different card faces, none of which have any visual appeal. The 4 card faces & sound are the only settings. Completed levels are not saved when you have to do a factory reset, everything is wiped out, having to start all over, going through all the same boards

The solo games are fine and add aren't too bad but if you happen to want to play the multiplayer it's horrible. It will pop up a new game but it doesn't let you play, you just get to watch 5je other players progress. Then when they finish it says that I've won when I clearly didn't even play. It usually notifies that the system is unstable every 3-4 games and if I want to continue, sometimes in the middle of the game. Even if you press yes to continue, it knocks you out anyway.

The touch recognition program is both accurate and responsive! There are not too many adverts. Graphics are clear and distinct, one character from another. The game automatically reshuffles if you get into a bind--with no penalties. There is no time limit, but you might have to start over under some conditions. If you don't return to the main menu, the game will save your place [as long as the game is in your open apps queue].

Excellent version of mahjong - no problem with tiles fitting on the screen! Also game isn't timed - removes extra stress, (esp for me). Wish I could pay to remove ads (minus one star, as it's not possible!?) Could the shuffle and clue buttons be moved away from they can very easily be knocked accidentally? They're too close to the bottom of my phone screen - as I hold my phone, I'm almost touching the buttons. Otherwise I really like the game! No unnecessary fancy background or animation.

I like it mostly. I don't that there is no pause button. If I start it while waiting in the doctors office or even at home and get interrupted to go do something else, I have to start all over again. Some of these levels take a bit to complete & some can't finish them in one sitting & who wants to start one all over again when you've gotten half way through?! If there is a pause button I can't find it. If there is one then this is a 5 star game. Oh the other tile pictures are sort of gross.

Pieces are clearly marked (as I'm 71 with Macular Degeneration) so that is a terrific asset for the game to me! Also very addictive - I've gone through all the easy ones in a flash and now I'm tackling the normal. I like that there is a gradual build-up to the harder sets. Great way to encourage me to keep going! Love it so far!!!

I tried a few other Mahjong games, but came back to this! I like it best as it has the most easily distinguished tiles, changing and challenging maps and the fewest unnecessary fanfare when completing a game (I don't need points, fireworks or levels to enjoy playing it ). The little counter showing me how many moves are left and automatic rearrange when running out of moves (without having to 'buy' more) are an added plus. I don't care about the ads,airplane setting solves that!

This mahjong game has 5 levels of difficulty. I play all 5 depending on the time I have to play. The hardest takes awhile to do while the easiest can get done in a few minutes. The last 2 takes a little longer than the first 3 rounds. Mostly I do the 4th and 5th rounds but now I have to redownload it because I did all the 4th and 5th round ones. The first 3 still have work to do in them. They aren't practice.

The games they rate as hard seem unusually easy but that could be because I'm so relaxed and not really trying for any fantastic results. I haven't run across anyone wanting money for anything and that is a big plus. Nowadays finding any game to simply play and enjoy is not easy, much less it being a free download. I've only played for about an hour so I haven't run into any really great graphics but that too could change. I'm having a good time so I'm content.

Don't let the simplicity fool you. The graphics and sound loop song might make you only play one round, however, unlike most Mahjong games there is a specific order to the matches. Most "pretty" games are forgiving and offer multiple ways to clear a board. This one is unforgiving, which I happen to like. Each move has to be calculated to not end up with a shuffle. I like that challenge

1. So far so good but I'm only starting off by doing the easy ones. This review may change if I haven't chucked it in before reaching the harder ones. It is annoying having those ads continually popping up across the top of the screen. 2.Ten games and I've closed thirty ads. Not worth it; uninstalling now. Would rather pay if it meant these incessant ads would stop.

I seem to have a lot of trouble getting my tiles to move. I have to tap on them repeatedly like up to 10 times before they react, which costs me time in the scoring field. Very annoying!! However, it is one of my most favorite games of altime to play, so you can see why it is so frustrating for me!! Thanx.

CERTAIN ADS COVER UP TILES AND MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY. PLEASE MAKE CORRECTIONS TO THOSE ADS. Great fun....best Mahjong game ever! Really love this game! Everytime I complete it, I just uninstall , re-install and play again.....yes, it's that good of a game! Just recently your ads at the top of page cover the tiles so a puzzle cannot be completed. If this keeps up, I will no longer be able to enjoy this game and must uninstall it.

Awesome game, highly addictive. Just one thing bugging me. Having OCD, I cannot class a level as complete unless I complete it without reshuffling the tiles. The fault with this game is that, most of the time, levels cannot be completed in one go, therefore it potentially takes thousands of goes to complete 1 level. Most frustrating.

I like the automatic reshuffling!! However, even though I turned the sound off, certain ads still have sound, so I can't play this in a room where someone is sleeping. 🤨 I have completed all of the games. Now all I have left is the daily games (that unlock only once a day). If I have to wait 24 hours to play one game, then will uninstall this. Just saying.

I uninstalled a Mahjong game that I liked from a developer I like bc of the size of it. I love the size of this one. It still has many games to play. I like that u can make it larger but when u do I wish it would hold stationary. Also I wish there was an option to turn on/off the highlighting of tiles to make it more challenging. I always kept it off for me & on for my little grndghtrs on the other game. That's my main complaint

I enjoy the game very much, it is challenging ad the harder levels are great time wasters. My only complaint is that on the home screen it would be nice to see a counter of the games played in that level

I absolutely Love this game! I use to play it when I was little on our family computer for hours until I couldn't anymore.. But this version is Great,even better really. I am still on the original designed blocks but I love that there is different designs u can play with as well as multiple patterns for all levels.. if I could give it more stars I would 🌟

I've played this game for 2 years now & still enjoy it. The very accurate grouping of puzzles by difficulty allows me to test myself or just relax. The one thing I wish the developers would add is an explanation of the factors that cause the 3 🌟 or 2 🌟 or 1 🌟 scoring to be awarded. Is it errors made, or taking too long, or what?

love mahjong, and this actual game is no exception. works great, but has a serious problem. since installing on my phone, it is constant ads! not only on this app, but even trying to call, charge or anything. if it weren't for the ads, i would recomend, but if you dont mind a great deal of ads, then you will not mind them. i had to uninstall the app to clear my phone from the constant ads.

fun, entertaining game. helps pass the time when waiting at appointments,etc.. Good for the mind as well. only issue ive had is sometimes it will enlarge the graphics when u dont want it to so everytime u touch a tile it happens. have to close out of the game & go back in to start again & usually its ok then. This has happened a handful of times but most of the time theres no issues & its great to play.

boring...boring...BORING. game itself is pretty standard...controls , even though pretty simple need more work, and the music is enough to make you want to cut your throat! 8 Beats, followed by another eight beads in a different key, and after 16 beads it just repeats and repeats and repeats until you want to slam your phone against the wall!!!

I mean, lots of solo puzzles, but playing multiplayer against the same person every single time and they're going faster than I could possibly click the same number of tiles without using an auto clicker? 1/10 uninstalling. If I can't enjoy all app features it's of no use to me

Extremely fun game & it keeps adding new puzzles. Has different challenge levels. One thing that I would like to have different: when we run out of options; I don't like it automatically shuffling. There are times when there was an option. Thank you.

Can set your own pace.. sometimes I want a very fast Game. I Like the many levels of challenge and they don't make play suggestions unless you ask for them ( and if you do ask, it costs you rating stars) Ads are a pain.. but at least they're not in the middle of a game. All in all a very good game experience.. haven't found one I like better
