Maiden: Legacy of the Beast

The game is very fun and a excellent game, however currently there is a bug regarding the souls (the rewards keep resetting when you leave the menu or close the app), otherwise the game is fine and extremely fun. This is more of a bug notice for the developers, to patch I am unsure how many are experiencing this issue.

Ok the graphics are solid. The controls are simple, overall I like the game. A little huge but beyond that it's just buggy as hell. Half my pvps end in draws because, no joke, one of my opps characters will go god mode and not take damage for like 15 turns (not exaggerated at all). I've got 30+ souls that it won't let me claim, they just reset every time I go back to the main menu and there are times that certain matches just actively screw you over. For it's size it really should be much better

The game is really fun but there seems to be an issue with the achievements. When trying to access "achievements" the game refuses to show them and to top it all off it freezes which makes you have to close the game and pick up any gifts that didn't auto save afterwards. Other than that I am enjoying my time with this game.

So Much Potential Lost By Horrible Server Access. The graphics are amazing. The game play is fun. But every time I play, it's a toss up of whether it'll work or not. I constantly get "Having trouble connecting to our servers, please try again" messages that require me to completely close it out. Then trying to open it back up and it stays stuck on the loading title screen. I would happily give 5 stars if these server issues are fixed. But for now, it makes it nearly unplayable at times.

I absolutely adore this game. Although loading between screens takes an abnormally long time, and sometimes it doesn't load at all. I had to uninstall and reinstall it and it's not even loading the main screen. Despite having my Google Play account attached to the game it somehow doesn't remember any progress I made prior. I'm pretty sure that this is a fairly new game which means there's still time to work out any issues. I honestly hope that with more updates that the bugs will be handled.

The game is fun, the character and level design is great, there are alot of different options when playing this game, and you don't have to pay to win. BUT, the one thing that consistently drives me crazy is how extremely rare it is to get high level characters. I have spent so much time, and ironite, trying to get high level characters but I always get garbage characters that I always have duplicates of.

update (january 2020): the opponent stats do not match actual battles. therefore, it makes for lopsided losses to your team and this needs to be addressed or you will spend a lot trying to make it week to week. plus, it makes the game boring. original (december 2019): my new favorite app or game. the graphics are ridiculously great! the play takes some learning. once you get the hang of it and actually learn to play, kind of like guitar, it unlocks a world that others will never know. have fun.

First I was sceptical, but after I installed the game to check it out I fell in love with Eddie very soon. The characters are amazing, and so is the storyline, animation, graphics. I even enjoy most of the music although I am not an IM fan. There are many things to do in the game, it never gets boring, but the controls (manually) are a bit off, and some of the characters (including main Eddie) make very slow progress due to the lack of materials to lvl up/evolve. Still highly recommended! :-)

I really love this game from what I saw, but it's just too large for my phone. I had to uninstall it because I kept getting storage issue notifications and couldn't use other apps on my phone. I really wish I could play this. 😢 The art is gorgeous, the animation is fluid and wonderful to look at. I was even getting into the story, I barely ever bother with stories anymore even with games on my computer. But my heart is broken cause I just can't afford a huge phone. My SD card is 65gb, phone is 8

Awesome music, great rewards and not a pay to win game. Yeah there are things that could be better but they will happen in time. Only gripe I have is, some levels require to use a number of special moves to get a crown but there's no way you can do it, as the you finish the whole level using half the amount of special moves needed. Otherwise a game I'll be playing for a long time

Pretty good game. Nice graphics, good gameplay and awesome soundtrack. Achievements are bugged for me though, they don't seem to progress even when they are completed. Would love to get those rewards, please help. Also, if you want to spend money, it won't be cheap at all, everything is quite expensive and not worth in my opinion, it's not necessary though.

This game is incredible, and with the magic of Iron Maiden's is certanly worth it. However, being a day one player, I cannot do anything else but post my complaints about the server instability, resulting in constant crashes and lags, as well as the lack of fixing never ending bugs, making the game not fun to play anymore. I hope this will change.

Great game. Lots of depth. Awesome soundtrack. Some parts definitely need pay to play due to difficulty spikes but enjoyable However my main concern is that every time there's and update, the game won't load. You have to uninstall and reinstall the game several times just for it to load properly. Any other time it's fine. From other reviews I can see I'm not the only one with this issue. And as me and others are paying for this game and products within it, I feel this issue should be resolved.

I'd say it's not that bad! It's a cool game with amazing decieations and character forms you can get. However, there are still a bit if bug problems that Some people are getting in the apps. (Which it's still being fixed. Even though some of the people are playing 100% okay) But I kinda see it funny and cool whenever I play it. So I'd say I recommend it if anyone else is willing to Play this amazing game! :D

Unlike so many "free" games, this one actually is free. There are ads when you log in but they aren't over the top, and if you are persistent in your efforts you can earn everything without braking out the credit card. As for the gameplay, it gets repetitive after a while since every battle is more or less the same thing repeated however there is enough variety in the creatures that you battle and that you control that let you switch it up. Also many Eddie's and classic Maiden riffs.

Soooooooo close to great. Musically, this gets 4327 stars because it's Maiden. The game itself is clever, addicting, & fun. But it's just plagued by too many server/connectivity issues, causing in-game currency to be lost. It could be great, but the company needs to back off on the constant barrage of new content and address the more core issue of the near-constant server problems.

gameplay is great, but some of the choices made about the mechanics are pretty iffy... as with every game that has it the whole "sands of time" thing is stupid. did the math, a low level mission takes 20 minutes to get the resources to run naturally. the grind is slow, but manageable... if not for the time gated missions... i'd rate higher if the sands of time mechanic was done away with entirely. that would fix most of the problems the game has.

An aging, but well-made 3v3 kinda combat RPG. Collect shards, turn them into heroes & heroines. The artwork is authentic & consistent, the gameplay repetitive, but the storyplay is far from the worst we got dished by copycats in the meanwhile. It is pretty cool, and with roughly 100MB download size decent to play. I had hoped for a notch more background music, but it works OK, as it is.

I get to the start screen. I press start, it shows me some cool looking graphics and tells me the beginning of the story, then it just loads for eternity and I never get to play. Is this a common type of bug with the game as of right now, or is it just my device? Still from what little I saw, good graphics and great music. Couldn't tell you about the controls or gameplay though, because as stated I didn't get to play. I hope this gets fixed soon, for I'd really like to play the game at sometime.

Fun game when it works. But the server connection errors are a severe test of ones patients. You can go anywhere from 3 hours to 24 hours without being able to connect. Which in turn makes you miss making event milestones without any kind of compensation from them. Would increase star rating if this got fixed but the connection issues have been going on for over a year.

Good game! In terms of technical gameplay it strongly reminds me of SW Galaxy of heroes, but the setting here is truly wonderfully created, and each character, almost each frame, is a reference to a song, an album, cover art or anything done by Iron Maiden during their magnificent history! This makes the setting rather unique, but what is also a big win, is that this setting may be quite interesting even for those who have never listened to IM! For fans it's a must have, of course!

everything about the game looks and feels great and it's a great tribute to Iron Maiden, but it has too much bugs to be playable. i can't even get to the third stage, it won't pass from the loading screen. plus it takes too long to load when you enter the game for the first time, and more the second. hell, i can even pass the start screen, and i waited for 30m. sorry to fans of Maiden and cellphone videogames, but it's not worth it, only if the developer fix all the issues I'll download it again

Aweful game. Was fun at first, but as you progress, quickly becomes nothing more than boring, repetitive grinding of the same tasks over and over again, endless work, not fun. They keep adding new characters and dungeons, but not really new, mostly just copies of the same. Game is full of bugs, everywhere you look, constant connection errors, game down for hours after every update or release, new content always buggy and untested. Useless customer support. Becoming more pay-to-win all the time.

awesome game with very cool characters. storyline is a little funky, but a very positive experience. progression is easy, but getting the different Eddie versions is a bit of a grind. at lvl 13 now, but looking forward to the rest of the functions in the game. daily log in are a good boost, but I haven't felt like if I didn't hit every day I would be hamstrung.

I have been playing for a good bit, not too too long but even then I notice some things that arent too well done with this game. The game has a hard halting point near the end of the underworld and even if you manage to scrape through or even do just fine with it, youre stopped again with a huge difficulty spike at night city. Along with that the objectives on some of the skulls quests are ridiculous like 100% health by the end when there's enemies that die upon hit.

Best Free Mobile Game EVER. The gameplay is simple, turn-based combat with button-press events. Feels like Final Fantasy meets Paper Mario meets Brutal Legend. Backed by a delicious soundtrack from Iron Maiden themselves, this game is definitely a must play. Ads are minimal as well, considering the padding for the microtransaction screens (if you want to make avail of them). It's very well rounded and very high quality. No, Iron Maiden did not pay me to write this. It's a good game.
