Lately MailChimp have become a pain in the neck when you try to renew your monthly subscription. You try to use PayPal, it wouldn't go, you try to pay with your visa card directly, it still wouldn't go. Meanwhile, I use the same payment channels (PayPal particularly) to pay other merchants/platforms without any hastle. You can't contact them via their feedback section and get immediate response. You'll have to wait 24 hr. When they reply by email, it's always that the problem is not from them.
Any attempt to create an email was abandoned after the fifth go. Everything works, albeit clumsily up until you actually edit / create a campaign. The first text box turned into an endless scroll of "start typing" and it was impossible to progress further. Incredibly frustrating. I can glimpse how it might work well, but right now it's a mess
Mostly a very good experience, once I learned how to build campaign templates. I only wish I could edit them in your app and not have to go back to Canva and edit and then re-upload to MC. My one other small gripe is your 2-step validation, which ONLY sends the verif. code to my phone and not to my one associate, who also has access for editing and launching campaigns. Problem is, that I am often in Kenya, 8 to 9 hrs. ahead of US time, making coordination difficult.
Becoming a Small Business Owner has been an experience. But it's less challenging with apps like Mailchimp. It's user friendly plus it provides all the tools needed to help push my business forward! I suggest any e-commerce businesses to use Mailchimp!
Just downloaded the app and it wont let me log in! Just keeps crashing after I enter the code they email me.... Very very very bad start
Great tool. But there's some issues like e-mails not reaching ppl or falling into Promotions tab in Gmail or as Spam. Also some other limitations like with the signups forms.
Nearly unusable. Between security features making access to the app nearly impossible at times, and heavy restrictions on inclusions to emails this app manages to get a single star from me.
Great experience, very smoothe and easier to use than the desktop app although obviously doesn't have all the functionality
Great tool, easy to use. Was using another program, but they cancelled the free option. MailChimp is excellent, should have come here first!

Deleted ALL my data and I can't login anymore. All this without any notification. And this is after 6 years of paid usage. Disgusting!
Love how user-friendly the app is. I can access everything needed and make things happen via my phone, which is a huge time-saver when being on the go!
I live this app. It has cut my email workload in half. I love how it tells you how many people have opened it and you can resend it to just the people who have not opened but a click of a button. For me it is very user friendly and if you dont know how just google what you want to know and wallah it comes up with the answer everytime.
Mailchimp is the best email marketing platform! From ease of use to results, you just can't go wrong with Mailchimp.
I rely on MailChimp to keep in touch with my fans. I absolutely love this direct marketing platform! The app is so easy to use it has all the functionality of the web-based version.

Mailchimp is much, much more than an e-mail service. It is great marketing tool!
This app okay, but it could be so much better! The biggest problem is the text editor. When drafting a new campaign, I tend to replicate a previous one then edit to maintain a consistent style. Yet when I add new text, the styles get messed up so I lose that consistency. Another big issue for me is the text editor's inability to create paragraphs (in a HTML context). The easiest solution to both problems would be an HTML editor in the app. Nothing fancy, just let me edit the HTML tags!
So much for doing newsletters on the go on your phone. There is no justification alignment setting and the sizing doesn't work either! Then the worst is, there is a feedback tab that constantly sits on the right side of the screen. When you click on this, you can give feedback on anything specific or overall - NONE OF IT WORKS!! So do you even really want feedback if you disabled it???
Please work on the following. When editing a campaign, the space given is so small, I don't know why it gives a large blank space that cannot be typed on, and I can't see the rest of the text I'm working with. Also, when I try to add a link to a text, the app freezes with an overlay, I have to close and restart the app several times even with a phone that has 6GB of RAM.
I I feel like this app could be improved. I use it for very basic email sendouts. There are little bugs in the editing portion when I am trying to resend to non-openers. The window for editing and typing could be much larger. It is only about half an inch wide and I have to scroll carefully to edit. Another problem I have is that it freezes up when I'm editing and then when I go to press DONE, the screen freezes and I have to close the app.
So far I haven't had a great experience with this app! I hoped to be able to create an email list via my mobile. I ended up doing all of my work on the Mailchimp website... which is also very difficult to navigate! You really need access to a PC...it is near impossible to modify templates via mobile. Not possible to write emails at all via the app. Not for me anyway. All was not lost, I did manage to create a Welcome Email and also created a signup link. No idea where to edit this link though.
Brilliant app. Allows you to take control of all your campaigns, emails, ads etc while on the go. Makes life a lot simpler. You can prep campaigns and make templates and then edit and send on the go. That simple. Never used it before now, but so far its helped me keep in contact with clients and send updates/news easier than I'd ever imagined. Really happy x
Everything about MailChimp has been pretty awesome. I'm a self-taught user, not incredibly techie, and it's been a great experience. I accidentally named my audience one thing and haven't learned how to undo it yet, but that's on my end. Their feedback reports are wonderful! So much data to analyze to determine if you're communicating effectively. I love it!
The app is okay I guess. The major problem I have is when I attach links to photos they never save properly. I'm having to go in and out of the app multiple times and attach the link for it to finally save properly. Also uploading photos crashes the app, and I find just using this app is very slow on an Android phone. Very frustrating to work with.
Used to work. Not anymore. Can't edit the text box in templates, old or new email campaigns. Rolled back to previous version. ALL versions affected, apparently. Old, new, doesn't matter. This tells me it's a broken dependency somewhere. My Android system is factory reset, fresh, and up-to-date on the same Galaxy S7 that worked just fine before. I don't know what's broken, what changed, what to fix or how to fix it, what to do to work around. Sent an email to support. No reply yet.
Just when you thought you've got it all with MailChimp web app, there comes the mobile app, which I find useful for so many alternate purposes. For intance, I can easily resend email campaign to non-openers from here, a feature which I didn't seem to find on the web.
