Majesty: Fantasy Kingdom Sim

“Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim” is a vast magical world where you are honored with the crown of a tiny fairytale kingdom. When you become the head of the country all the responsibility for the land's prosperity rests on your royal shoulders. You will have to fight various enemies and monsters, explore new territories, manage economic and scientific developments and solve a heap of unusual and unexpected tasks. For example, what will you do when all the gold in the kingdom transforms into cookies? Or how will you bring back the trolls who robbed caravans and whose disappearance ruins the economy of the country?
The core feature of “Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim” is that you cannot control your citizens directly. There are a lot of heroes in your lands: valiant warriors and warlike barbarians, powerful wizards and grim necromancers, industrious dwarves and skilful elves plus many more. But all of them live their own lives and decide for themselves what to do at any moment. You are able to issue orders but heroes will follow your commands only for a sizeable reward.

“Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim” contains elements of role play: while fulfilling your orders, the heroes improve their skills and talents, as well as earn cash to be spent on new equipment, weapons, and magical elixirs.

Game Features:

• Legendary indirect control strategy totally adapted for Android
• 10 types of heroes with dozens of statistics, weapons and armour
• A dozen types of monsters
• Several dozen spells
• 30 upgradeable building types
• 16 scenario missions
• 3 difficulty levels
• About 100 game achievements

I've been playing this game since it came out in windows 95' Era and always loved it. While very similar, there are a lot of drawbacks to this version but it's mostly skins and ease of access. Bought the game and I've never been able to start the campaign there's a glitch in the first level that won't let me start/continue the whole game. Reached out to support around a year ago and were responsive and eager to help but they never came out with a patch to fix it...disappointing.

Game save issues NOT fixed. The second you exit out, the game basically wipes and you have to start all over. The dialogue needs editing. The graphics are cute but the actual gameplay is akward. The way the map is set up is tedious, needs zoom in/out options. I was prepared to deal with the gameplay issues, but the lack of any saved game progress or even remembering the profile is a deal breaker. Don't waste your time and money.

The desktop version of Majesty is my favorite game of all time, and unlike many conversions, this captures the feel beautifully. There are perhaps a few places where the storytelling is a bit off (like the developers couldn't just go with the theme and had to insert modern politics in a fantasy game.) Regardless, this is one of the few games that I've tried that merits a permanent place on my phone.

Great game. Considering when the PC majesty came out you can understand some differences for today's mobile environment. I do think the PC version is better, but this is a great substitute when on the go. I highly recommend. The buildings and building style is still there. The biggest difference I have noticed is the lack of peasants running around, and upgrades are slightly different. And I am not sure if ALL buildings are there yet but I think it does need on what I have seen so far.

In many aspects I prefer over it's PC predecessor, namely UI and graphics, which are way more fitting aesthetically and I find them to be more clear. It's missing a few classes and buildings though, or at least I haven't found them yet since I'm slowly chugging through the campaign. And wizards are even weaker than in the original.

Nice game, and in most cases keeps to the original PC game. One thing developers definitely need to add is a restart map button. Going back to the main menu and back into campaing then into the map isbt an efficient way to restart. This is especially so if you are playing on blood thirsty and are at the whims any opening combat RNG.

A fun enough strategy game but fails from a bad interface, it's actuality easier to reset your progress then exit the game. specifically continue and new game options are next to each other, since starting a new game deletes your progress and there was not a verification or warning. This caused me with a single misclick to lose all my progress. The sequel does not seem to have this problem thankfully.

I really enjoy playing this game, but there are some problems with it that make it harder to enjoy. The first is that the graphics get seriously messed up if I bring up the menu during a game. The screen fills up with gibberish and freezes. If I want to keep playing, I have to quit the app and open it again. The second is that not everything is explained. The last one is only inconvenient: it doesn't remember what I've already done in skirmish mode. Still, I recommend it. It's a lot of fun.

Awesome mobile port, with an exception or two. A few additions it could really benefit from are a zoom in feature, voices that characters had from the original, renaming characters! and the missing buildings from the pc version. Other than that, it's stellar. It just needs the few missing details.

Tried playing stages on hardest difficulty. Can't beat the second stage because you get swarmed before your first building can be built. This is not a case of, "get good" because even with the gnome hovel - which is supposed to speed up construction - it's impossible to increase contruction speed enough to survive the swarms. What's the point of that?

I enjoyed this game thoroughly on PC and now I can waste time on it on my phone! It's a fantasy world sandbox city builder where you can only control buildings and not people. They do dumb things sometimes but it's fun to experiment and future out what everything does. Give it a few tries, it eventually grows on you.

The UI is unreadable. The strange font and colour combination makes it impossible for me to read the dialogue. Even the keyboard to enter my username was impossible to read the keys. This is on a Galaxy S21+. On a smaller screen it would be ridiculous.

I love the quirkiness of this. People may complain that you don't have direct control over units, but the description tells you that, as does the tutorial. It's not a secret, so stop complaining like you got blindsided by that. I love this little RTS to the point that I actually went onto steam to buy the Gold HD version as well. Very fun to watch your characters get stronger and the different objectives per campaign battle feel really refreshing.

If it worked like the original game I would have kept it, I can't figure out how to build the fighter stronghold in the tutorial, but I owned this on pc when the original was new. I have it at Steam and Got so I don't need this version, your changes are not good.

You have to pay to play the game theb pay again in order to best levels. Foe instance, on pacifist setting, the grace of agrella, is absolutly impossible with the meteor shower killing all of my guys every 10 seconds. Rhe only way to beat this is to pay to win. I'm not interested in paying for a game then paying more just to get to the next level.

I've been playing Majesty for 20 years. I would buy Majesty 3 in a heartbeat. Love the original music so much ❤️ the only thing about this is there is no restart option and the menus are a tad slow. Thanks for making this so I can take it in my pocket

Initially I gave 5 stars, a truly great game with one major issue: It randomly loses my save! It's happened 3 times over the past few days. I close the app and when I open it later it's acting like it's the first time having me name my file...

Sim. G. May 24, 2019

love the game but despite the creators saying they released a patch to stop the saving issues, the bug still continues. would like to play through this game again and give it 5 stars but in this state I would have to complete it all in one sitting. please fix!

And. W. May 18, 2020

Not going to purchase the game. Always check the comment section for common threads. There is not an option to save the game and this has been a problem since at least 2018. Maybe even before. All they say is: "Sorry for this issue, we are working on fixing it." I guarantee they aren't working on it if it has taken 2+ years. I love Majesty and Majesty 2 and if you can't even save or fix a basic issue like that, you don't deserve to have rights to the title. Do not buy this game until fix.

Ben. O. Feb 14, 2019

It was a lot of fun till it wiped all my progress out. From the comments looks like this was an issue before and it came back again. Im uninstalling it, if there isnt a feature to store your progress in your google account I dont trust this to not keep happening.

Mik. M. Apr 23, 2019

This game would be great if it saved your progress. Too bad it doesn't, and it's been an issue for literal years. Pass on buying this until the developers show they actually care.

Jas. M. Feb 14, 2021

This game is awesome! The controls are good, the tutorial is good, the game play is good. Unfortunately, the sequel didn't keep many of the good parts of this game. I'd highly recommend this game, but I don't have anything good to say about the Northern Expansion, so I'm just replaying this one from the beginning.

Eri. W. Nov 28, 2018

The game was a lot of fun. I wanted to Play It Again... But despite the statement that this issue was fixed, it appears that the game still has a problem saving. No point in playing if you can't save the game!

L. B. Nov 19, 2020

Just took a PC game and ported it to Android. Not taking in to consideration things like smaller screen sizes and the difference between the control of a mouse and a finger.

Pet. D. Nov 24, 2020

Okey game, however UI issues, bugs and lack of depth is the main issue. Even with expansion still no improvements on the game play. If majesty 2 come out on phones - better ui more units better more detailed sim is required

Aar. T. Jan 9, 2019

Screen is zoomed in on a section and I can't see or play. I've tried reinstalling and it works again for a bit but I've lost all progress.
