I always loved Majesty for the PC. This is pretty good, but one the map where I'm supposed to kill all goblins, I did everything I was supposed to do, and the scenario map won't finish! You need a current quest list section, and you don't have that! I have spent hours on this game, only to be stuck and nowhere to go. Please help!
The actual game screen is less than 2/3 of the device screen. And you can't zoom out. So you can only really see half a dozen of your buildings at a time. The tutorial is brutal. The "advisor" is an impatient jerk who interrupts you if he doesn't think you are moving fast enough following his vague directions. And even though at the end he says the tutorial is over, he still pops up every subsequent round.
I don't understand the system of unlocking levels!! The game seems to only unlock one level each time you complete a level... So you're forced to do the next level in the line, without any of the side levels opening. This means I'm suddenly stuck at the hardest level (which is crazy difficult, even when I'm playing on easy) with no other level options available. Apparently the only way to unlock those side levels is to pay more money to "buy keys to the kingdom". Am I missing something, or is this a trick to get us to pay more money??
This game is actually pretty good. Tough to understand at first and certain things aren't clear either. I love the idea of this indirect control, conquest type game. Certain things I would prefer slightly more control, specifically the leveling of heroes. You will have many heroes level hugely and then get wasted by main boss and so you're stuck with level ones who in turn get wasted. If you could pour gold into characters so they at least can get better equipment starting out that could help
This is a great option for playing Majesty on the go. I loved Majesty when I first played it almost 20 years ago, and I liked the sequel when I played it almost a decade ago. This mobile version is missing some features from the original game, but it's a pretty faithful representation of the game - and it's a great value. You can get the game and this expansion for under $5 - can't really complain. So many games similar to this are free to play, but just push micro-transactions to actually play the game. This is more-or-less the same game that was released in 2000, so it's completely possible to play without spending any more money after the initial purchase price. I'd like to eventually see an updated version that adds in the missing features from the original - or even update the graphics to match the original. Overall, though - I'm very happy with this game. It's fun and a good price. It definitely scratched that old Majesty itch. Maybe someday we'll get a Majesty 3 on PC...
Easy or hard you decide. The game leaves it up to the player. Improved graphics over the first majesty. Clouds and birds and the graphics just pop with color. A lot of gameplay for the cheap price. A lot of missions. Same game mechanics as the first game. That is a plus in my book.
It's good but the balance is very poor. My melee units are always much more experienced since ranged do not engage that much (even if friendly heroes are engaged within 2 steps). I would like to see ability to create parties the same way we do it in the pc version. In this case a lot of hero types bacame much more useful. Like ranges would get more engages(lvl), mages wouldn't die from a rat e.t.c. Tavern is a game changer, please introduce it.
Fantastic mobile game. It is well worth the price. But it needs to have a random map type of scenario because I beat the game too quickly and ran out of new things to do. The desktop pc original had this option.
remembered when I played majesty on my Nokia 5230 when I saw it the first time on Google play I immediately bought it. Now I bought this one and I can say it is amazing, even more than the original one. It runs smoothly and the animations on every single thing are incredible.
I have noticed that this game successfully launches and plays only once after each individual shutdown. Issue requires immediate attention. - Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, Android 8.0.0
Game translates great to mobile. The music is abysmal though, and the humour is a bit sexist and really lame. For example, each class only has like 10 random names and 7 of them are lord of the ring references. Cringe, but the gameplay is great. Highly recommended.
Absolutely ruined a classic. "Resurrect" button in guild overlays roster button. Forced to open "Cheats" menu, no way of closing it. Paying. Money. For cheats in an already simple game. I hope to hell you need to buy microtransactions to open your RL front door. What a blight on the gaming industry.
Paid for the (once very good game) & now it's pushing me to pay for micro-transactions. Looking at the other reviews many others aren't happy with this either. A real disappointment.
My game is bugged I can't get past ink chapter even after I kill golem next level does not open.i really liked previous game so I bought this (first game I bought on playstore)and now it is not working stuck at one level even after completion
Great game played the PC version. Not a huge fan of having to spend jewels everytime I want to unlock a cheat paying once to unlock them would be less tightwadish lol
It's better than the pc version but the gameplay becomes a bit boring as you progress.
Whenever I tried to run it full screen on my Chromebook it would only fill the top left corner and only about 1/9th the screen. Too small to play.
Always have a lot of while playing this game. Easy to understand and play.
Great game but impossible to finish without watching ads. Feels impossible to advise in the game
Not a bad game; fun to be had. Gets repetitive quickly though.
Why isn't family library working? Isn't adding to my family library. The base game did.
It won't save when I choose the save button. Ok think an update messed up the game
The java version was my favorite, so playing it years later on an android phone again is really great
I Love this game a lot, great graphics and game play is simple and fun
This is a stand alone expansion to the pre-existing game on the play store. Unlike the PC expansion, there isn't a lot being added here on top of the base game - rather it is just 16 more missions to play, UI improvements, and some in game fluff. It is overall better then the base game - I like how in some missions the Warrior Guild can't be built so Barbarians get some use, but the game still has the same glaring problems - minus deleting ones progress so easily, that can't be understated.
