MakeMyTrip-Flights Hotels Cabs

The app has a lot of hotels which do not accept online booking. Once there was no hotel by that name and I was standing clueless. I asked for a voucher for inconvenience, no response. The customer support team is difficult to reach. Worst app. I have faced problems 4 times. I had the use the app because I had a voucher from a previous bad experience. Now I have one voucher left, I am extremely haunted by the thought of using that voucher.

Worst app. Horrible experience!! I booked the villa on 23rd of April and paid the entire amount and after few hours it got cancelled. It's mentioned in their mail that 'the refund is initiated and the amount will be credited by 26th of April' and I have not received it yet. Their app is of no help. It doesn't even have the option to talk to anyone directly. Through customer support I was able to schedule a call back from them but they didn't call. PATHETIC SERVICE.

The flight booking was smooth, but I also booked a prepaid cab and it gave me no way to provide the address. I got emails reminding me to provide the address (saying my cab booking would be auto cancelled if i didn't) but there was no link to do so. Mar 9, 2022 update. I've updated my review from 2 to 4 stars because MakeMyTrip did get in touch with me to further correspond with the developer about my issue. They also automatically gave me a refund for the prepaid cab fare.

This is the worst app for travel booking compared to all apps put together. The customer service is as bad as it can get. Had booked a flight to Moscow before the war broke out. The flight was cancelled. Forget about refund, the customer support is so uselessly built to ensure you get no support. Our hard earned money is stuck with them and they give us no idea how to raise claim for it, who to contact. Actually you dont get to contact anyone to ask for your money. Will NEVER EVER use this app.

I have had a very bad experience when it comes to taking a package through make my trip. They will show you hotels in your itinerary as options before you book. But eventually book options that are completely different and not upto the mark. And it will be done just a day or two before you need to board flights so that you have no scope to change or cancel the trip as everything becomes non refundable. Will rather go for Thomas Cook, Ease my trip, goibibo in future.

What the hell! I booked a train ticket and I cancelled yesterday. I like the MMT app but your push notifications are annoying. I think it is the setOngoing that is not set right. Users should be able to swipe that away but you are making them to tap on it to dismiss that off the notification tray. It is so annoying, especially while using the phone more frequently.

I tried booking bus tickets on mmt twice, but the ticket booking failed both times and money was deducted from my account both times. After raising the issue through the app, i got refund of 1 transaction but they removed the unsuccessful 2nd transaction from the display. And the worst part is that there is customer care executive or help to talk to. Worst experience from makemytrip.

I booked two trips from the app and it's my honest review that they have very poor service. Moreover their trips are very expensive, and will make you feel unsatisfied. Because you have to pay for everything beforehand, you can't really make last minute changes. They assign a local travel agent and it's up to them to handle the trip for you. So they maybe good bad or very bad and you have to put up with it. Trips from MakeMyTrip are not satisfactory at all. It's much better to travel by yourself

Worst customer experience ever and the customer service team was negligent and arrogant. I tried canceling a ticket on mmtp app and it just showed a blank page when i tried canceling. The email had a contact number and they mentioned that they don't own the booking as it was done on mmtp. Ultimately no one responded till the bus departed and I was told that no refund is possible after departure. Failure to serve customer at multiple levels, on top of loosing money, you also end up frustrated.

No helpline number to reach when the app doesn't work. It was showing that part of my booking is cancelled when I tried to reschedule a booking. Nowhere in the app is listed any phone number or chat option as a backup. They just keep sending links to their no-good app. They sneakily even deleted my previous review.

No chat option nor customer support call option . I booked a hotel but the hotel sent me a note that it is already booked and inventory was not updated correctly in MakeMyTrip. This is really bad and i tried to reach MakeMyTrip support for that. For chat option, it's a bot with very few options and when i tried reaching over phone call , there is no option to connect to someone to explain the issues . This is pathetic and i am for sure not going to use mmt for life .

One of the poorest customer care service. These people never solves the customer issues. I have booked a bus on May 14th but the booking got cancelled at the last minute and the trip shows that I have been successfully completed the trip. I have been trying to contact customer care but poor response and no solution had been made. Will never use MMT again

Worst experience and misleading airline information. The COVID protocol for statewise already have changed and they are still running with outdated information. No proper and frustutating customer issue handling process. There is literally no way you can connect with a customer executive or raise a ticket from app if you have an issue.

0 stars . Awful experience! There is no resolution from their side. They themselves decide to close your support request. There is no valid no. to connect to any executive just one link to the terrible app. But have got a mail that my query has been answered and resolved. Nobody has contacted me nor was I given any update. The cancelled bus is shown in the completed journey. Unfair practices charging extra for travel insurance yet not basic response is given to a customer.

Awesome app! Best service ever for Indians and so smooth without glitches and also easy to read and analyse! Nothing difficult! It is perfectly categorised into each section and there's no need to reach out in terms of refund or anything because everything is so so quick! If you need a hotel or a train or flight - just use make my trip....I'm pretty sure it'll leave you surprised! They're awesome! I've been using it from last 5 years now and not once I've had a problem!

Very bad customer service. Booked a resort with all facilities but there were no facilities, no drinking water, no WiFi, the property was poorly maintained and the listing was misleading. MakemyTrip didn't care when I reported the issues. If you are looking for a App with good customer service, this is not the one

Worst experience while booking, the money was deducted but then it said due to technical diffuclties the transaction could not be completed.Money was deducted but tickets were not booked waited for a day but no updates. They even don't have a customer support system. So you can't contact an agent. Book with the airlines/railway directly that's more reliable. WON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE USING IT.

Worst customer care service, there is not a single option to talk with service team to elaborate our problem regarding flight ticket which is already booked. If we call customer care number, the bit will just speak everything is under app but there is no option to describe our problem and it doesn't connect to the customer care person. It's better not to book tickets in makemytrip.

I want my refund. I got my ticket canceled due to some issues. The message read that the refund will be reflected in my account in two working days...but I have not received my refund till now... Nothing work. After I received the message from the developer to check the link in email, I click the link. The link only takes me to the app, and there is nothing you can do. I feel like I am been cheated. My money is stucked with them, and they won't just return it to me.

They'll suddenly downgrade your membership to avoid some small perks which they promised. Best part is, their in app customer support is only for the trips I take as they assume there can be no fault of theirs. Great app, Hopeless Customer support. Hence downgraded my ratings too. You didn't even read my review and gave non sensical pre recorded machine answer!! I have problem with mmt and not with any trip.

Very convenient and fast for all sorts of reservations weather it be trains, flights, hotels etc. The UI interface is very clean and at the same time very informative. They keep on upgrading from time to time to give their users a better experience. I love this app for hotel bookings as it tells you almost everything about the hotel. Cheers team MMT

My experience has been poor. It is true that app is easy for all bookings with fairly good offers, however, customer support centre and management is extremely poor. Many a times, i didn't receive information for change of flight schedule which led to great difficulty. Also, getting refunds back from MMT management, for any kind of refund, is a tough and battle in itself. Further, they generally refund only partial amount even when airlines return full money back to them. EXTREMELY POOR OVERALL

Not at all happy with the flight booking. Rate changes in no time. For a date change option earlier the rate was showing 4600 suddenly the price went upto 5200. When I checked the flight rate there was no change but when I try to change the flight dates rate changes like anything. This is not acceptable.

After all these years of using the app extremely disappointed by the way the handled things. Please do not book international with this app. Technical glitches cause them to forget transfer of payment to airlines for paid services. Booked a flight with them for my daughter for an international flight. They simply forgot to forward the payment received to the airline for a paid seat. She's been given an uncomfortable one and all they can offer as an explanation is a Technical glitch.
