Malayala Manorama

Excellent news reading experience! The Saved News component is an added plus. Helps in catching up with uncovered pieces later. Language employed isn't very literary but is grammatically very strong. And its conversational tone gives an easily relatable angle to the reporting. The editorial pieces - health, technology, repo rate and the like - aren't just informative. They're highly educational in their intent. And, that makes it special. Kudos to the Manorama team for pulling it off in style!

accessibility is low for those who use visually impaired Screen Leader TalkBack uses. Likewise excessive advertising is pretty hard

Buggy experience, with clicking of notifications, never intends to reach the specific news article. Poor app

Now a days it's exceeding advertisment limits. Not able to scroll and read news, its hangs for showing ads. Very disgusting.

The screen is flashing out continuously and i cant read anything.the app still crashes a year after i posted about it

Layout of this app is beautiful. But it takes more time load than similar apps. News content has to include more in-depth information.

This app used to be good. Now it has become annoying to use it. Once I click on a news article, it pause for few seconds and then a annoying full screen advertisement pops up. It can't be canceled or skipped. Then the news opens. It happens with every clicks on different news. Will see few more days and if it continue like this, I will uninstall this app.

Used to be good but now it's a buggy and unusable app. First of all it's slower not very responsive. Even if you select English as the preferred language, when you open it the next time it'll show you the English version for two seconds the close and reopen in Malayalam. If you select Malayalam, it'll open in Malayalam, close and reopen in Malayalam. Way too many ads. I've tried this on three different phones running Android 11. It's close to unusable now. I'm uninstalling it.

Need alto of improvements. 1. This app doesn't have simplicity. 2. I recommend the developers to give a look at "NYtimes". 3. Need over all improvements in reading interface and user interface. For example, consider font size. It is too small. 4. People prefer white background and black letters plus images with in text citations. 5. Don't need extra features make it simple

I have used the malayala Manorama News app for several years. Initially the experience was fine. But then they started inserting ads in every corner of the app. Still it was use able until recently. Now they have started pushing full screen ads every now and then like a cheap third rate gossip websites. Completely ruins the reading experience. No difference from googling the news and a waste of 100 mb of phone memory now. Profit hunting is fine.. But taking it to the next level is so pathetic.

My Initial review was about the annoying ads. All these days, I atleast had the option to close those ads. Now, after the latest update, the option to close the ads is not there anymore and I am forced to view it. Great job !!! Uninstalling the application as its a waste of my time and data. Thank you.

With the recent update, the entire app has become very slow and it takes a lot of time to load the news even when the internet connection is pretty fast. It is ok for the ads to pop up but it does not mean to stop loading of the actual news to get the ads displayed. Request developers to take quick action else will need to move on to other apps for the news update.

Lots of phishing ads. Long way to improve.

App is not at all responding ,it's many days couldn't open up

This is wonderful app for knowing the news special for who leads busy life ...i would give 5star but I would suggest to have an updation and improve some notifications features and add few new features...... wonderful app for youngsters....

I was using this app for past few years. The quality of the app has declined significantly. The frequent ads are very frustrating. The quality of the articles in terms of grammar and spelling is very poor. It is like nobody cares about spelling mistakes and grammar. Sometimes some articles doesn't make any sense. There is no structure to it. Many times I have felt the articles were copied from other sources and simply translated into Malayalam with bulk of the original content removed.

Very worst news app. There is more add than news. Not at all satisfied with this. Even i didn't choose the movies or astrology section it always shows that content. I dont like that. I want to use this for informative purpose, not to know something about movies or their gissips.Its really disturbing. They why you choose such option to select different sections like lifestyle, news, editors pick.

Manaorama is spoiling their reputation.. We need to spend more time on Advertisements than reading news. Until last app release, we were able skip the advertisement if not interested to see the same. Now, there is no way to skip the advertisement, you will need to patiently wait for the "close" button to come up. Really irritating. Cheap technique from Manorama to earn more money from advertisements. Uninstalling the app and won't install until this is fixed.

Yesterday I uninstalled it. I have been using it for years and recently it started popping up the animated ads with loud sound which was very annoying. I normally read the news during bed time when my wife sleeps and this pop ads were so annoying that I couldnt tolerate. I switched to other new application where there is no ads. App was all good till this time. Bye manorama.

Facing frequent issues with this app..........no improvement for a very long time.

Sometimes some pages takes too much of time to load...Also viewing video sometimes it's breaking.. One more thing when I switch to English version it stuck my phone restarted Automatically.. iam not sure why it is happening, I didn't face any issue with other app all of them are downloaded from Google store..Your content and news section much better than other app. But these type slowness . Stuck are coming in the latest version..

The best Malayalam News App in the playstore market. IF you are new to Kerala and want to learn Malayalam , This is the best.With more than 100 years of experience.

Even after updating app, keeps poping up for update. Not at all opening thr app. Its in loop. Asking to update when opening, and in play store giving open button and again same and same.

None of the articles from the notifications can be opened. Very poor interfacing and experience.

Since been update last week, it went pure mess. Used to enjoy and look at every hour. Lost lots of valuable articles. Why update, " if its not broken why fixing" Sad.

App has lots of annoying ads and comment section is not allowing commenting. This app was good in its old versions but with every new update user experience is getting worser.
