Anyone that sets manga list as the default list will notice that sometimes manga will not be shown when the app reloads from the background. It's a minor inconvenience, but if it can be fixed it would benefit me and others greatly. Side note, app is working great in Android 12. No split screen issues.

Amazing app! Better than the official App! IIRC you can disable ads if they are annoying, so it's a big wow! But don't disable them pls. They deserve the money

The only issue is that the filter does not remember its previous settings. For example, the last time I opened the app, I filtered all, but the next time I open it, it defaults to the watching filter. Please include a setting to remember filter settings.

Outside of getting an account connect which can be awkward at the beginning, this is an absolutely stellar app. Supports dark mode, a plethora of options and fantastic search functionality. Truly the full site experience on mobile.

It does exactly what I'm looking for in a Anime site. The ability to catagorize Anime based on what (plan to watch, completed, on hold, ect ect) as well as a rating system to showcase to your friends and yourself how much you liked certain Anime really comes in handy and is a pleasant ability. I'd recommend this app to everyone that's even the slightest interested in anime or Manga.

Better than the MAL app. This one helps me remember what comes out each day of the week and highlights the most recent episodes. Though, I wish I could see the characters. The automatically added start and finish dates are a nice feature.

I love this app better than MyAnimeList's official one. It helps me remember when anime is coming each week with the calendar feature and by showing the air date on the watching list, it lets me read reviews in-app while the official MAL app redirects me to the browser. Bugs do tend to appear, but they also, get fixed by the developer, so it is okay. Overall, it's an excellent experience, better than the official app, in my opinion.

How can this app be so so so buggy? I try to login and then tries to make me login to Twitter?? I try to create a new account but apparently I've already got an account under that email so I try to reset the password only for the forgot password link only to be an accessory and worst of all Is that i lost all my details and list on my previous account yet completely unable to recover

The interface feels like it's for a developer testing version. It's not quite user friendly. I don't like how the buttons work and how you need to access your folders via "filters" it's just feels like an app in development and not a final product. The rest is good. I found every anime I wanted. Though the titles are a bit hard to identify but the search engine works very well.

It's a good app to use for phone-use. The only problems I have with it is that it sometimes takes a long time to load when I go to Completed or Plan-To-Watch, because of how much it needs to load. It also is a little harder to navigate when you try to look for animes you don't know the name of if you have alot of bigger animes that have lots of titles. Maybe an option to sort by Series so that it decreases the amount of titles to navigate. Everything else works great, so good job!

I really like the app I have always wanted a place to write down all of the anime I have watched but I never have the time to sit down and do it on pc so this worked great. I think the leading of pages in the genre section could use some work. Also 3rd party sign in is pretty much the standard at least Google. Also the friend list takes a while to sync. Oh lastly I think it could use a section in each anime of places you can watch it even if it is nothing more than a list.

Excellent user interface - far preferable to MAL's actual and outdated website. Intuitive to the point that I found myself taking out my phone to make changes despite already being on my laptop. (That is, until I discovered the native Windows app equivalent by the same developer - give it a shot!) Not everything is perfect - for example, I wish the default page on app start could be set to general search instead of my personal list. Most often, my interactions with the app begin with a search. However, the app is loaded with customization; you can change most anything you might want to.

I works almost exactly like the web browser, but it's an app, and the add policy is something that should have been the default everywhere! It really good how you can just freely choose if you want adds or not, or even if you just wants some adds everyday. The default is that it shows adds 20 min every day, and that's nothing compared to most apps

This new version is better than the last overhaul, but it still needs work. Everything is well laid out but sometimes the search glitches where if you are searching something new sometimes it will only show you search results from a previous search. This is this is easily fixed by simply going into another menu and then clicking back and searching again but it's kind of annoying but not too bad. All this needs are down improvements and everything is good to go.

It's a nice tool, works pretty well. But it crashes sometimes and the thing that bothers me the most is that the English actors are showing up on the character list alongside Japanese ones. I have nothing against them, but it's annoying to have to put more effort into finding out the original VA rather than the opposite. Or at least make it an option to choose what is a preferred set of actors to show up on the main tab, having them mixed makes no sense.

I've been using this specific Mal app for years now and it has never let me down. I personally haven't had any issues with crashing or anything of the like though so it's only been a good experience. Loading times while searching can be a little longer than what I would like but it's not enough to bog down the experience at all. This is the client I have always recomend and will continue to do so because of ease of use and aesthetic. A+ guys, keep it up.

This is the most complete client app for MAL. I would recommend using this. However this has way too many bugs. Sometimes it won't put something on a list i want, won't show me friend requests, won't let me remove anime from my list entirely, among other things. This is a good app and most certainly too good considering it is free but if it is going for the feature packed route then have them be more fleshed out before adding new stuff. What I'm trying to say is that the app needs a diet.

Best Mal client I've used and I've used them all. I don't understand the low rating it has. It had more functions, better reliability and an easier to use UI than any of the competition. I think people are expecting perfection just because it's the official one. But don't do that. Compare it to them other clients. When you do that you realise it deserves 5* It does being a Mal client better than any other.

Love this app. My only issue is the option to choose which episode/chapter you finished last. there are only a few series that will prompt you with all of the episodes/chapters that are out so far. For the rest, it will show up to ep 13 or ch 13 and then you have to manually type each one after that. Just hoping for some continuity for this feature. Edit: This problem has been fixed. Love this app!

I really like the UI graphically however i really wish i could just swipe to the right to switch between watched and completed. i also think it's be really cool to get push notifications when a new episode airs on crunchy roll or something. My only real issue is for some reason the calendar isn't working... i would assume the calendar let's me see dates that shows I'm watching air but i haven't had a chance to use it. will update once it's been addressed

Been waiting for a MAL client ever since the big shutdown, and i thought I'd found the one. The App worked for a day, but now crashes all the time. Even after a deletion and reinstall the issues continues. I have sent data and feedback about the issue in the hope issues like this can be fixed. Unfortunately in its current state, the App is non usable for me.

The app is all right. Open-source, functional and can disable ads, that's all that matters to me. I agree that the app needs to be more minimalistic looking. Too much texts. Too much options, enough to confuse new users. I like "Detailed Grid" view mode better than the others. It would look better with transparent background. I say create a Lite version. I only use this to update my Watchlist, Rating, view Anime informations, just the simple tasks, etc. We don't need a complete duplicate of MAL.
