Great app for hiking this trail. I have used this format type app on other long distance hikes. A few things I find missing on this app are a few more words about the nearby towns as far as resupply options such as Dollar General etc. Cornell was right next to the trail but a few comments about what was there would be helpful. Also, when a primitive campground or water source etc is a ways off the trail a marked path on the map would be helpful as to how to get to that site. Also, are there any shuttles available on this trail? Their numbers posted would be good also.

So disappointed... Have been using app for 2020 Mammoth Challenge, happy to be able to purchase portions of trail at a time. Now totally unusable for this year's 2021 challenge. Went to load the new app only to discover it costs another $24.99 to purchase. Not cool.

5 short sections of trail mapped out with amenities. $10 for a section. Just buy the guidebook from the ice age trail alliance and use Google maps. It is better than this app and you get all 1200 miles of trail. Not the 50 or so they mapped. Map the trail out. Make it a flat price. Then this app will be worth it.

Awesome app. Great offline maps, distance to next water source, trail crossings, shelter, etc. Users able to add notes for future hikes. Absolute necessity for IAT backpacking IMO.

I am trying to create a route and as soon as I drop my pin to set a 2nd waypoint, the app crashes.

The app itself works but most trails need to be purchased to view.

This is a great app to use on the Ice Age Trail. I don't care what the others say about the price, if you are hiking the IAT the price for the maps are worth it. It's like going to the museum and getting the audio tour guide. The maps give you so much more about things on the trail, not just where you are at. You can use the guide to search for a particular area or segment within the loaded map. The only thing it needs is a way to search across loaded maps if you have purchased them.

I'm using this currently on my Ice Age Trail thru-hike. Great trail app as usual from these guys. For me this replaces the need to purchase and carry the guidebook and maps. The one thing that is missing is resupply information, there is none in the app which is a bit surprising. Otherwise, I pretty much use this all day. Especially nice that you can download offline Google satellite view which I use a lot to scope out stealth camp sites.

An incredible useful app. It's really helpful to know distances from where you are and its educational too. Reading about the geology is fun to do as you stand there looking at it. It's like having the entire Ice Age Trail guide book and atlas on you phone. Sure it costs what a guidebook costs. Because that is exactly what it is. Well worth it! It's also very useful for planning future hikes on a great trail system. Also I've found no glitches so far, works great.

App keeps freezing up every time I open it. Pretty useless so far. Hope there's a fix for this issue.

Totally bummed....Looks like an extremely useful app I don't even mind having to pay for different map sections but there is only like 4 sections available and none of them are what I need for an upcoming trip. Edit............. never mind I'm an idiot. The maps are quite long sections. There would be less confusion if they showed the route on the map purchase page. I will edit again after my trip.

Solid app. I'm in the process of section hiking and the app has been very helpful with planning hikes farther from home. I mainly use it to find parking and navigate connecting routes. I'd give it a 5 if you could log your hikes in the app and on the map.
