This is the 1st app I have chosen to review. I really like all of the features it has, and I decided to upgrade to pro to add my own categories. In using this app, I discovered my best days were when the weather was high pressure and low dew point, because I could graph backwards and see when my pain levels and functioning were at their lowest and highest, respectively, and then look at past weather reports to uncover these trends. I assume I'll be able to discover other aspects as well.
Great app, nicely laid out & easy to use. I knocked a star off because despite this being the paid for version it still has the same requirement to buy credits for the more advanced reports. Having paid for the app I assumed this would be included & that the credit system was a way of supporting the free lite version, the only real difference between this & lite is the reports containing 10 records in the lite version & that's it as far as I can tell. The basic/enhanced reports are free/included it's not that they charge you for everything, I just think it's rather cheeky to charge a fairly chunky fee for this app (it's not like its 50p its a fair whack) then say oho you can only get advanced access to your data if you buy credits (there's no csv export feature either). This feels to me that I'm being taken for a cash cow due to being ill which isn't a great feeling. Love the app but if it'd been made clear that the only real difference is the record number I probably wouldn't have bothered paying. Either go with 1 model or the other not both OR give a pile of credits to those who buy the Pro version.
I loved the lite version, and though I haven't noticed any additional features with this one, it seems to at least have all the features of the lite version. So it at least has that, even though I so far have yet to see how it was worth spending money on. I really only have one real issue I have with it is a pretty big one. I upgraded to the pay version, and all of my entries are gone. I entered it after upgrading, and it has the tutorial screen, then it tells me to make my first entry. I paid money to lose all of my entries? If there is some way to get them back, PLEASE let me know. It would also be useful to know this before paying the money to upgrade.
This app is great to log symptoms of not just pain. Both my rheumatologist and CBT therapist have found the app great to see how I've been since last visits. You have the option to add scheduled check in times and a "round up" of the day. Overall, it was worth paying the small amount to upgrade and have all chart options and other options available
This is the best pain record app. I've never paid for an app before but loved the free version so much I decided to get the full app. The customizable fields and entries are easy to change, I love being reminded when I want to be reminded to enter my stats. The charts and reports are greatly beneficial for my myself and my doctors. I suggested this app at my pain clinic classes.
only had it for a week but so far is been very helpful. The anytime entry is exactly what I wanted so I can capture how I was feeling pain wise in the moment. The graphs and reports really lay things out well provide a great information at the push of a button.
Unfortuantely, customer service is non existent basically, so be prepared to lose your data and it be unable to be restored. Tried to ask customer service for help, I even paid for the app, and they ignored my emails. Very sad, because i was enjoying the app. But, I had 800 records created and lost all of those records and they wont help me restore them. Very upsetting to work that hard and it all be gone. Use the app if you have to, but keep my cautionary-tale in mind.
Great records to show to your doctor if required. Fully editable and can modify lists to how you want them. A reminder pops up as a message to use the app and fill in the lists as needed I use the Pro version with no adds.
I love this app! originally I only downloaded it to see how much pain I was in for physical therapy needs, but I just had a doctors visit and I was able to print and present the report. He now knows exactly what I have been suffering with for the past several months. additionally I can add or modify descriptors and references. one of my pain indicators is entitled "unicorn". this app allows me to call it just that!
Really easy to customize options and see an overview of issues. My Dr cant accept messages from the app, but everything works flawlessly. When i do go see my Dr, it's really easy for us to go over everything. with notes, it's easy to say why i had a bad day or what might have triggered a bad episode. I can even put in pain meds and how much. I love this app. My Dr loves this app.
Pro: a useful set of pain factors can be comfortably written down. Con: some reports cost even you own the pro version. No preview for those. Graphs are limited in type of variables/factors to display. No overview of the amount of painkillers you took today until now or in diagrams. Last is so important to me, that I will have to find a more suitable app.
