This well-known Arabic board game Manqala dates back to the ancient times and is one of the oldest known games still popular. This is a fun and light mathematical game that challenges you to come up with the best strategy on how to get the most pearls to your side.
The general gameplay is often referred to as a "count-and-capture" game and our version offers the most popular rules:
1) Your goal is to collect more pearls than your opponent.
2) You can only move pearls on your side (which is the bottom row).
2) To move, you tap on one of the pits in your row. This picks up all the pieces in that pit and moves them counter-clockwise, putting one pearl in each pit. (You'll see!)
3) If the last pearl of your move lands in your bank, you are rewarded an additional turn.
4) You can capture pearls from your opponent by putting the last pearl of your turn in an empty pocket on your side that opposes a pearl-filled pit owned by your opponent.

Edited to 2 stars because I'm 100% playing bots when I'm playing "online". They make the exact same moves every game, start to finish, so not even a good bot. Theres no way I just played 15 different humans with the same mind. Needs actual players, other than that it's great. 》》》It's the best free version of mancala I have found, unlike others currently rated higher, there are little to no glitches. Not sure what people mean about too many ads, its 1 at the end of each game and you can exit.
This is the best version of Mancala if you want to compete against someone live. However it occasionally makes mistakes and says the player that did lose is the winner.
I like how specific it is when it says how many turns you took how long the match was however it constantly cheers you on even if you make a bad move shows the projected path really shouldn't I'd call it unplayable
Hate the way it Moves and the graphics that pop up in the middle of the screen constantly during the game.
Best looking Mancala out there! And way more challenging than it looks.

I love the fact that there are no hands shown, yet the movement is so natural. One drawback is that bonus moves always come with an empty praise, and you have to wait for the "Well Played!" cloud to disappear, which is distracting and makes the game feel slow. The horizontal movement of the stones is flawless, but "picking them up" from the pits could be animated just a little faster, especially when you have to watch all 6 bonus moves the AI has. Still the best app for mancala in Playstore!
