Mancala & Friends

My experience on this game used to be excellent. I played offline against the cpu for over a year and was able to win fairly often. Imagine my surprise when the update on July 12, 2019 changed everything. If I ever doubted an app was learning info. from me, I doubt no more. Suddenly the cpu makes ALL my old moves right before I want to make one! There is now no way to win offline...the computer beats me every time. Thanks for ruining it.

Too many ads. I unlock my phone and an ad pops up. Every time. Some ads I couldn't back out of. This is not a good. There are better ones, that do the same with no ads. Edit:. I was just told to update the app for better experience. One, responding almost 12 months after leaving a review, does not help the reviewer at all. Two, the app was reviewed within days of downloading it. It was updated. I really wanted to love the game as I actually own the physical game but I do not.

Ads galore, plus you cannot exit some of them so you have to quit the game and restart in order to get rid of the pop up ads. Also, part of the aspect of most versions of the "seed and pit" game is not being absolutely sure how many stones/seeds are in your pit since the most of the rules state you cannot point out nor touch in order to count what you have, so having the number of stones obviously stated on the board kind of takes away from the full experience. Loved the graphics and gameplay, just not those awful ads. This game will be fun for those who can ignore the ads (obviously not me =P ).

Try to play with your friends and it just randomly sticks you with a person. This game is whack.

Reminds me of the old days when i used to play this as a kid at the local boys and girls club. After a while instead of calling it Mancala we nicknamed it "cala"/"kayla" for short, although since I haven't played it in years i had to sharpen up on my skills so i lost some of the first 4 matches and when I clicked for a rematch the app wouldn't let me play again. Im not sure if this is a test trial but it kept forwarding me to a option that offered me the choice to find other games to play

The game plays as though you are trying to connect to a real player, though 9 times out of 10 it will be an AI with short sighted plays. The AI make the same moves every game! Overall loses its luster after only a few games when you find a strategy that will beat the AI every time.

Does not work and full of ads. 1. If I've rated something 1 because it's full of bugs and ads, I will on principle not use anything from that developer. 2. I have however reinstalled this game and it still doesn't work and is full of adds. So as far as I'm concerned you've now lost all credibility!

You know how you get a new game expecting when you jump in, it's easy, to make you stay. yeah, uhm no! First 5 games I lost to these SUPER INTELLIGENT, just started to play the game too, people. They also go first, everytime. And the only way I can win (for nothing) is because my opponent left the match. Such a fun childhood game and now ruined by virtually. OH and ADs every sight you turn. I'd rather go play UNO. Byeee 👋

The medium difficulty is a big step up from easy (mind you, I am still a beginner). And once I removed the permission to use background data, the app stops working, and crashing all the time.

played for a while on my S8.. never gave me any awards for my progress and the only challenge in the game was the hard CPU which did seem to know its stuff. the multiplayer was weak everyone made the same moves. now on my S10+ it keeps crashing. not a terrible app just needs some work and an s10 update.

This update is awful. Every time I start a new game, it force closes the app and takes my coins. I've reported this multiple times and still no fix and I don't get compensated for my lost coins. Please fix!!!

Crappy connection. Lost most of my coins on games that disconnected that counted as losses. Too many adds. Absolute waste of time, effort, not to mention the lag in play with a solid wifi connection. Uninstalled.

There's having ads and then there's HAVING ADS!!! Here's a suggestion implement different pieces and boards with a separate currency to collect and purchase said items. Add bounus or x2 currency in exchange for ads. You can also opt to have currency for purchase with RLM. Don't make ads a punishment, make them a condition for reward.

Terrible! Can't invite people or set up games with friends. Kicks you out of games at random. WAY too many ads, and lack of overall performance doesn't justify the cost.

Game would be good if they didn't limit the amount of games you can play. Big mistake as there are lots of free unlimited versions.. I was just curious with this version, but now I'm deleting it.

Doesn't play by the same rules I've always played with. Unless you land in an empty pocket your turn continues. These apps have ruined a favorite childhood game. I'm not sure if our rules in NY were different or what but this is not how you play mancala.

this version does not play fair. when you drop the last stone across from your opponent, it does not pick up all of the stones for you but, when the opponent does it, all of the stones are picked up. totally frustrating to me.

Constantly lose against computer, extremely limited playability, you'll almost always go first even if your opponent was supposed to start, this app is trash

when there are no other players on line, they disguise the computer as random players and the same progression of moves wins the same every time. lame.

lol what a trash game. Everything is just wrong. There are 3 marbles in each hole at the beginning of the game, not 4. From there on it's just a mess with made up bs rules that don't make sense. This isn't mancala. This is autistic-retards-try-to-make-an-app-cala. Pathetic

this app works on private play so you can play against the computer of two people can play on 1 phone. but the system of playing with facebook friends doesnt work .

I have played mancala all of my life, but playing against this CPU is some actual bull. Easy mode is the exact same as difficult. It just isn't fun to play when CPU is insane.

App worked great for first few weeks. Now it crashes every time I try to play with friends. Fix that and you'll have a 5 stars from me

Everytime you try to play with friends on facebook. it never let you actually play with them. It send a notification but dont let you join

couldnt figure out how to play the game because there was always a Google add right over the text. with no way to remove it.

i dont really even gjve this one star but i have to cause it doesnt let you post if you dont have hate this app as soon as you trybto play it it says mancala and friends as stoped working and when it does work as soon as you start it says its not working and it doesnt efen knoe how to play right cause it gives you free turns and you can only pick certain ones and it doesnt even let you finish your turn thid game is do bad you dont even want to try it this is your warning on how bad this game is.
