Great app overall but I encountered a major issue when trying to use this on my new phone. The app installed and ran fine, but for some inexplicable reason, the max amount of iterations had changed from 100,000 to an unnaceptably low 1,000. That still may seem like a lot to laypeople, but trust me, you can barely get anywhere with that little detail. This is still a 5 star app for fractal people, but only once this issue is issue is resolved, which is hopefully soon!

I bought it, and was impressed with the multitude of options. Maybe it is just me not being as savvy with the program, but it tends to get slight repetitive with renders but again most likely user error! Still enjoying it!

Wonderful fractal browser with a wide variety of algorithms and coloring options to choose from.

Incredibly powerful, and very intuitive once you know what you're trying to use it for. pro features robust and worth the price.

I don't understand fractals at all, but I know beauty when I see it and some of these are other worldly. Thank you to the developers and buy the premium version it is so worth it.

This seems to be the best Android app for exploring the Mandelbrot set and other fractals. With many colouring modes and filters, even views of the entire Mandelbrot set can become unique and interesting. It may not be the fastest, but it is fast enough. App is worth using even without premium, as there's plenty to do and ads are not intrusive.

Hi there! So, I love this app. I decided to buy the app very quickly, and have been impressed. The pallets and skins available are stunning. The customisation available beyond that are even more brilliant. There's one thing I dislike, though: The app times out too quickly when you leave it alone. Sometimes I want to save a high res image, and the app may take a long time to load it. In those cases, if I leave the app, it times out and all the loading progress is lost. This app rocks.

Very cool app. First learned about fractals (and chaos theory) 30 years ago in college. Back then, we had an old, old, OLD Mac SE/30 to generate them. They were obviously nothing close to what is possible with today's computers. All the more impressive is a phone being able to generate and zoom in (more than 1 trillion times!) on these images. I've looked for an Android app for years that does what this one does.

This app is phenomenal. It's everything I could have hoped to find in a fractal generator, and the performance is quite impressive considering that it runs on a mobile device. I would appreciate support for logical loops in the advanced fractal generation, though. As it is, I had to resort to repeating the same sequence of lines 200 times in order to approximate an infinite series.

I absolutely love this app! Not only is it powerful and intuitive, it is incredibly deep and the results are nothing short of magical. It can create insane fractals of all sorts with endless manipulation of colors, shapes, textures and has just gorgeous examples and presets. The paid version is a must! Nice features. Im really not too critical of apps unless the actual experience is incongruent with its description. Such is not the case here, though about half of the features included go neglected on my part. In other words the functions I use it for are adequate enough which renders the additional content something of an opportunity to explore at a later time if I happen upon the chance. Bottom line: it's a pleasant way to pass a bit of time when there is nothing else to do.

An incredible app with amazing functionality. This app makes you want to learn to code. Detail is stunning with endless possibilities. The advanced mode makes this app comparable to commercial apps that cost tons. I can't believe it is free!! The ads don't completely hijack this app. It takes my phone a bit to render iterations and detail but I get precise control. Hats off to the developer. This is NOT just a plaything to keep you busy. It is ART!

Its really good. Selection of fractals and paint modes are great. The way it updates during zooms is rather effective. I learned about more fractal functions. I'm surprised most of the fractal types exhibit the canonical Mandelbrot shape in some way. The fractal edges seem slightly blurry. The Back button is not intuitive; it should be Press Twice to Exit, or at least the "..." menu could use an Quit option so I don't have to kill it.

Excellent app. Having coded fractals myself, i have a pretty good sense of the challenges involved in making such application useful/fast/accurate and this app scores highly on all 3. Highly recommend it to anyone with the patience and interest to "dive" in. There are a lot of nuances in fractal landscapes that make one color palette perfect in one case and poor in another and revealing the fractal topology takes a bit of work. This app takes a lot of the "hard" work out.

This looks like the best mandelbrot browser that I have seen on my phone! It has seemingly limitless zoom, only being stopped by my phones capabilities at about 1.0e+300. Still, that's a LOT of zoom power. the only drawback is that the loading speed can be quite slow for a quality picture. I'd honestly rate this 4.9 stars if I could. Great app.

As a veteran of Tierazon, Sterling, and FE, I can honestly say I am beyond thrilled with this app. I had given up on duplicating the experience I still get on my old xp laptop that runs the great old-school programs.This is it!!!! Incredibly feature-rich, and if you are already familiar with fractal generation the experience is smooth and intuitive. I'm m not hauling out the old laptop much anymore! I am certainly not affiliated with whoever created it, but I want to give props where due.

An easy way to create beautiful fractal images!

This is a very impressive fractal viewing app with a lot of features. Easily the best of its kind for Android. I've had it for a while and just decided to pay to unlock all the features and get rid of the ads. Totally worth it.

Love this app, takes me back to my early days ,being creative with fractals. I love the colour palette options, editing my own. plenty of filters to explore.The results look truly beautiful! The only creative app that I have ever loved enought to buy the full app. Easily I can lose a few hours in this app. Well done!

This is a really nice and performant mandlebrot set zoom program. It has just the right set of features to be good for what it does. I'm particularly impressed by the switch to ever greater precision floating point representations as the zoom level becomes more and more insane.

Best Fractal App Ever so far! I love how much feature it provides and especially surprised that you can even create custom paint mode and custom fractals with your own formulas if you know a little bit if coding! I'll be looking forward to the feature when we could be able to export color gradients from images. That would be game changer.🙂

Offers a wide variety of fractals, pallets, color mappings, movies, and even different projections. You can quickly create a movie zooming into a mini-Mandelbrot mathematically projected on to a sphere with 3D shading, with your choice of pallets and static or dynamic color mappings. The features and especially their combinations are impressive. Consider my mind blown!

Better than most PC mandelbrot generators. Probably one of the best spent 5 bucks within my whole android experience. To the author: thanks, this is SO MUCH fun. I would love the animation to support rotation (so interpolate the start rotation to the final rotation) and also interpolate the max iteration (i.e. 500 at start, 15000 at the end position, ramp it up during animation calculation). Maybe single frame export for animations and this app will be perfect :-)
