Great app, can do better I ve been using this app for a couple of years now. I compared it with other apps, and it always remains my favorite. Recently though something happened, I think you removed the old one for a new one, so I had to copy all the titles on the new one by hand, and some are missing. Can you do something to back up the bookmars as well? It d be great if you had a research by genre, or something most app are missing, the possibility to rate the manga in our own list. Thanks!!
It seems the interface may have a glitch in the system. Sometimes when I return to the chapters menu, the words are overlain on top of each other. When I switch to a different app and return to this app it starts from the chapter i began reading from. Which can be such a hassle and I haven't figured out if there's a history button yet because sometimes i forget to bookmark what I read and I can't find the story anymoreBut the app itself is easy to use and navigate through so three stars will do.
Typically, a super simplified and easy to use reader. There are features like saving your favorites to the cloud and the search features that are non-functioning at this moment. I've had previous versions of this app that were taken down long ago (the original app is about 7 years old). Whenever this app starts working again. Add this to your hotbar for apps at the bottom on your home screen. I've had my app uninstalled by Google when they took down the original. This helps prevent that.
Free? Check. Good Selection? Check. Buggy Interface? Check. Would be a 5 star if they fixed the bugs. One for example is when you go to another app with this one still up, it'll take you back however many chapters you've read. Text lays over each other after that. But thats a small issue imo. The selection is great, Beastars to Attack on Titan, its all there. Give it a try.
This is a amazing manga reader with no shortage to choose from. I myself have been using it for a little over a year and have had a fantastic experince reading from the plethora of titles. It also has a manga of the day which has lead to some great finds. All in all this is really worth a try if youre looking for an app that has a wide selection and an easy to understand layout. Idk what the hell happened with this app. Before this got removed and reintroduced from the Play Store, everything works like a charm. I uninstalled the old version and redownload it again from the Play Store believing that it would have a more up to date services and features, but came really disappointed when i saw that some mangas are missing chapters and some currently running weekly Shonen Jumps haven't been updated in over a month. Well, it's been a good run. Won't be using this anymore
The app is great, I used to use manga rock which was the perfect manga reader but since they stop the use of it, I had to find a good replacement and finally I found one. This app has all Manga and manwha you need. If possible I would like to receive notifications about my favorite Manga come out so I don't have to refresh each Manga every time thank you😊😊😊
The Manga Reader app is an excellent app!!! I can read and keep up with mostly all the lastest anime airing at the time. It is simple and easy to use and has genres for everyone. My only concern us that some of the manga lacks the reading material. Like you read the description and it seems awesome but there is nothing to read. I've found myself a little disappointed on multiple occasions. So that is something you can improve on for everyone!!! Thank you for listening!!!!
Nice but... This app is nice for a manga reader like me. I can read it offline coz they have a download option. They also sent me notifications for the latest manga. But the downfall of this app they mixed some pages of the manga, and there are missing pages in a manga i've read. And lastly you upload one chapter that was in RAW. Please fix this bug and i'll change my ratings.
Great ease of use and a nice library of manga to choose from. The only down side is using the search bar can be kinda bad. Sometimes it will bring up what you want and other times it will bring up a hundred diffrent manga and you have to search through it all
Been using this app for over 6 years, love the ability to download manga and scroll using the volume button. My only gripe with it now is ever since I upgraded to the pixel 3 it won't bookmark what page I was on and gives me weird graphical problems when I open the app up after closing it for awhile.
Nice But the problem is the reading, u cant change the settings there, manga is read from right to left and in some cases scrolling down, but in this app everything is left to right.... They really gotta change that detail of make and option to change the reading form Overall, does have quite bit of mangas... Nice nice nice
Over all a good app. But is BS when they say they have a new chapter of a manga but its just BS ads and not actually the manga at all. Also many of the manga are not phone compatible, as in you need to zoom to read it, but when you do zoom in it is unreadable.
I love everything about the app. I just can't give it a perfect score because I have two different versions of this app... One has two mangas that are NOT available in the new version, hence why I can't complete the transition: Ajin, and Killing Bites. Why are they not available?
This app is good. If you want some mediocore reading with a lot of inconvenient little things. This app doesn't have a lot of manga to choose from. It is hard to find specific manga too. There are a few bugs that I noticed too.
I use this app all the time. Always keeps me up to date with my favorite series. My only issue, that I discovered by getting a new phone, is that certain series don't appear when I search for them. So as I try and make my favorites list identical to the one on my old phone, a series like Vinland Saga won't appear. Though I am still able to access it on my old device.
The whole app design may confuse for the first time but once you're familiarized with the sections, the navigation becomes easy. Also, it contains manhua and webtoons which I really like because I get to discover many works in just one app. Super love it!
Sometimes the app won't load pages and some of the pages are missing from a few. Recently had to respond the app and some manga weren't there anymore. But it does have good quality and variety as well as Web comics and manga.
Some misplaced chapters ( wrong manga placed in another aka attack on Titan chapter inside random manga.) Occasionally a untranslated or Raw chapter added. Some chapters with mixed-up or missing pages and finally minor resolution problems. Even with the previous issues I've only seen them maybe five times within 60 to 70 manga that I have read on this app I would highly recommend it to anybody who would like a single place to easily access these works.
App doesnt start back on the recent page, itll go back x amount of chapters to a random page and when going back to the chapter list it's all messed up. So to remedy that I have to go back favorites menu then go the correct chapter and then scroll to the last page I read.
A pretty solid and simple reader. The selection is very large, but the settings and features are lacking. E.g., there's no way to set it to read from right to left.
This app is the perfect for reading manga !! Superrb ! It updates every manga time to time when ever a new episode come ! And i also not found any bug which is ruining the app ! The only thing i wanted in this app is that an option which can help us set chapters in WEBTOON mode ! Pls with this webtoon mode this app will be superior than others ! And the rest of thing is excellent!
Love this app and have used it for years. I would like to see a way to reorganize your manga list. Something where you could put completed manga aside instead of all new manga going on the bottom of your list.
I've been using it for years, and it has a nice performance, I can read manga easily. But, after the latest update some manga disappeared from the list and I cannot find them in the app anymore.
no pause ads, very easy to use, easy download, but some of the manga are unreadable..wish it can be fix..then i'll give 5star 😁😁 (edit: some manga are unreadable because of the slides that are too long, when you maximize it all the images are blured)
LOVE the app but the problem is that when I searched for a manga that CLEARLY is in the app like Velvet goes underground,it is not there and it is missing including others too and it frustrates me because some of the manga apps I have does not have the FULL chapters for any manga since they'd skip it so this app is great because it never skipped,and it always updates but the missing mangas are definitely a problem
Easy to use, though there are some glitches especially when you switch apps. I'm satisfied with their catalogue of mangas. Also, the ads aren't intruding unlike some manga reader apps.
To quote IdubbzzTV, "Heyyyy, that's pretty good." Only issue is that there's a small bug upon reopening your phone that causes the screen to overlay twice, but it's quickly fixed by backing out and going back into the chapter list.
I gave this app a 5 star a few years ago. It was awesome. Now most the stuff I read is getting chapters updated with only 1 or 2 pages or half the chapters not translated or best of all it updated with a completely different manga with 2 random pages being from the right manga. Its poop :(
Have not run into any problems so far. I do however have a couple complaints! My first issue comes from the lack of a genre search. This app is fantastic so long as you know EXACTLY what your looking for. Not so great if your just looking for something new. Last issue comes from turning pages. Everyvtime you touch the screen/use volume buttons to flip to the next page. A border appears and blocks the panels for a few seconds. Other then these problems the app is great.
