Manga Reader - Free Manga APP

The app overall is good and organised, I've been using it for a year now and the only problem i see is the rotation, the app "home screen" is not rotatable, the only thing that rotates is the "chapters", which isn't bad. i'd also like if it's possible to read by scrolling and not swipping ik that the "landscape" version can scroll but I'd like this app more if it had the "portrait" version too

Most reader apps have tabs at the bottom or the top of the screen for the different pages. This one hides them behind a burger menu. Ads when unlocking your phone with the app on are unforgivable. Not being able to switch swiping direction to change pages also makes reading less enjoyable, since manga is usually right to left while paging is the app is done left to right. Other than that, it's an okay reader. It's not too hard to find the things I want to read, stop reading and come back etc.

It was working fine before, and then suddenly there was no page displayed, event though the pages are all downloaded. It only showed a blank page, yet when I check the folders the pages were all there. I can open it from gallery, it's ok for manga and its 1 page per display but it's a bit troublesome to read manwha. I dunno if anyone else also experienced this bug or not

I've been using this reader since 2017 and I gotta say, its one of the best readers I've used. The manga updates may be a bit slow but never too late. My only problem is that I have a new device, I've backed up my old data and when I tried to restore that data from cloud, the data that keeps getting recovered are from the ones I've had back in 2019. I'm not sure if my data keeps getting corrupted but I really don't want to lose all my favorites from my old device. Yes, I have an account as well.

I have been using this app for two years now and it's a great app to read various manga/manhwa/manhua. One thing I notice is that if you use the same account in multiple devices, it's not synched and you would always have to upload data to cloud and restore the recent data upload from cloud on another device if you would want your current reading progress to be saved. This is just a suggestion, but it would be great if you added an auto synching feature in the future.

It is a good app but there is too much ads!! I enjoy reading manga but then when i wanted to go to another chapter, it suddenly pop up a forceful ads where you need to wait its loading time before you can click 'X' to close it. I do not like that kind of ads in the middle of reading chapters. Please, change the way of showing ads. Us readers do not like that kind of ads. It even show up when you wanted to search manga! But then again, thank you developer for doing this kind of app. I appreciate.

The app itself and the manga that it has are all great. However, as of late, the amount of ads has gotten to be WAY too much. It used to be like 1 ad every 5 chapters, which could almost always be immediately closed out. Now, every single chapter has an ad. If your phone goes to sleep and you unlock the screen you get another ad. You tab out to send a message? Guess what... another ad. It has become extremely intolerable and if it doesnt change I will stop using the app entirely.

I really like this reader. But I got it for the offline reading. I downloaded my favorite series, waited until it was done, switched to airplane mode and then tried the series. I got a ball that changed colors. So I went to my downloads. Good. Found the chapters I downloaded and... Waited. And waited. This time I got a black screen with four small balls switching sides. And waited. Oh! Once I got a page that told me I was offline. Still like this app but... Still waiting.

So far the experience has been terrible. Recently migrated from manga rock, and in all honesty the app is far inferior to it. The button to dismiss the app is tiny, but I like how after watching a bunch of ads, it stops for a while. However, the pages and images won't load properly, and in order to get them loaded, you'd have to reload the app. If you want to read, the best way is by downloading manga and reading them offline, removing the ads and loading problem. The app is very tedious to use.

This app is perfect for manga geeks. I've rarely had problems with it. It'll occasionally take a while for the pages to load, but I personally don't see that as too bad. The ads are very rarely and usually short and it always lets you start back up with the last page you were reading. Every chapter is free and the quality of the pages is pretty good, considering that they were originally on paper. Overall, I recommend this app.

Ever since Manga Rock closed, I had been looking for a good manga reader, and this most definitely is one. However it has some very bad glitches that need fixing, including loading of pages or even whole chapters, webtoons looking strange and then jarringly glitching back into place, and recently, when you try to search for things, it takes like 3 minutes to load what you were typing. Sadly this is the only big manga reading app on the play store though, so I'm gonna keep using it.

It's kinda annoying because some pages are not loading and it affects the whole chapter. I tried refreshing the chapter but still some parts are missing. And it is really irritating when consecutive pages are not loading. Argh. It happened all the time.. please fix it. I'll change it to 5 if you can fix it soon. Thank you.

I like this app. It's easy to use and very convenient. But the problem is that some mangas are not found in this app. Which is very irritating for me. I have to read online in a different manga site in order to read the mangas that are not in this app. Also, there are mangas which are really late in updates. Some of the mangas are cut? Like there's chapters 1-30 then skips to chapters 150-200. This is also irritating for me. All in all, this app is okay?.

It's ok if you are looking for something specific. There are a ton of adds which I can understand to some extent. However, if you are like me and want to browse through different mangas this is not the app for you. The tags often lag out and sometimes don't work altogether. When reading the app will switch to a different chapter than the one you want to read or won't load them at all. It simply has a poor design overall and I would not recommend it.

I've used this app for a while, so i can comfortably say that its simple to use. Ads are not intrusive and the easy to download books are great too. There are issues however on book quality, as ive had many where pages or whole chapters are shuffled or missing. There has also been a recent issue of chapters from completely different books being mixed in, replacing the actual chapters of the book.

Easy to use and search for manga from different sources. However there seems to be a bug that makes the app keep displaying pages from the wrong chapter.. need to reload each page for this. In the past, there are some ads along the way.? But now there's ads after every chapter... and it's become annoying.

Well, the app itself is great, however, many times as it occurred me while downloading a serie that it would completely stop. The % is random, and won't download after an entire day or some hours, everything is random. I do have enough space on my phone. When it occurs, it does it for every serie yet to be downloaded. It is kind of annoying when you want to quickly download a serie but can't. And it would be great to have another communication service other than reviews or e-mails, like discord or a website, etc. With live answers

This is the best app for manga I've found so far: it's free with a small amount of adds, it lets me put bookmarks, it actually changes the last chapter read even if I enter an older one, and has the one title I was looking for. It also lets me choose all the manga sources of a language instead of just one of them. I tried several apps today and all of them did some of these errors, I hated not being able to bookmark or not even finding the title. Good job and thanks

I love the app in itself, great reading experience. But for some god who knows reason even though i dont download the manga's and chapters it seems to just automatically download it and keep those image files forever, has taken up nearly 80 gigs of my phone storage, you can safely delete those files but it isnt done automatically you have to tell the app to do it which is extremely slow or use a computer to delete the files [dont know if deleting the folders would cause harm so i have to go folder to folder and not just mass delete the folders]

A really great and helpful app! I wanted to give a five-star rating but seems like there's problem with the download system :( And I have a little suggestion for the developer, that's if you want to make your app an even better one hehe. It's to add a section or folder where we can sort the mangas. I've read quite lots of titles and I get confused distinguishing the ones i'm planning to read and the ones i have finished reading.. (but still marked favorite bcs i want to re-read it someday ><)

Great app in general. It would be 5 stars, however recently it's having a lot of problems when it tries to download chapters and load images. It goes to the point where I have to exit and renter the app many tines just to load a single page on a chapter. If this isn't fixed soon I'm changing to 2 stars.

Almost every pages need to load, and 50% of the time it fails, then i tap the screen for it to reload then it works. Reading has never been this slow. Sometimes the app said i have no space but that's not true. And a bigger problem is that a fair amount of mangas are bugged where it has multiple chapter 1 spread across the serie and when i read it, it's more like chapter 6 and the real chapter 1 is nowhere to be found. Besides those major issues the app's great.

This app was great but more often than not nowadays I get red x pages and no thumbnails, as well as a page or two not loading unless I back out and reopen the chapter. I would blame the source but it's the same for all of them, yet if I go to any of those sites in a web browser the chapters are all up and running.

The reading experience on this app is pretty good, but I have 1 major issue. The favorites section is a mess. The filters in it don't seem to work at all, and there's no option to sort by most recently updated. If the favorites had a most recently updated manga first, the app would be really good. Instead it has a newly updated sticker on recently updated manga that last for a while and is in no particular order.

Its actually a pretty good app, in terms of performance, selections, organization, as well as favorites. However the sheer amount of ads makes tbis app unusable, it's s a shame. I honestly wouldn't even mind if there was an option for a one time purchase or a yearly subscription to remove the ads but thats not even an option.
