Manga Searcher - Manga Reader

I love this app. The search engine function finds the Manga for you so you don't have to trawl numerous sites to find the right version, and it produces a list of similar titles in case you don't have the right wording. You can do this in batches or individually to read offline. It greys out the chapters you've read or started so you always know where you're up to. Once it threw me out, but I'd got a bit carried away with queueing the downloads. So I uninstalled and reinstalled it - perfect!

Love this, always my go to for everything I need to catch up on. BUT it definitely has some flaws, Mangas you're reading may not be found in this app like UQ Holder or some parts of the manga might not be available and you'll have to go online to find the rest of the series. I could go on but those are just little things (please let me have the option to get rid of the ads on the bottom of the screen, it's annoying.)

Great content, could be more user friendly. This app has every manga I've read or wanted to read, but the interface could use some work. You have to search for your manga, favorite it, go to favorites and download chapters from it, then go to downloads to read those chapters. It's a lot of extra steps for no reason. You also have to click buttons to go forward or back a page instead of swiping, which I prefer.

It really was a great app due to its simplicity. Under some circumstances, it will be better if the "options" or "settings" button is visible/available so we can choose our preferences of reading e.g. landscape or portrait (because it automatically rotates), and the paging. Overall, it was really good 👍

This is a great app to read your mangas offline wherever you go. The ads are not intrusive and do their work. It would be great if they can adapt the scrolling options for chapters soit doesn't get smaller the higher the chaper is on your download list. I find it annoying that I have to scroll down to find the option to delete a chapter having a big screen phone, since the option bar is 1 line tall when you only have 1 chapter left to delete.

This apps amazing. I can download chapters and read them offline later, and not to mention they're in great quality. My only problem is how it rotates when I barely tilt my phone. It can be solved by taping and holding the screen, and using the volume keys to change chapers, but it gets annoying. Also this is just personal preference, but also add a settings tab.

Great but lately search not working properly. If I search for title, random titles that don't even start with the same letters pop up. It's almost impossible now to find anything. (I've used this app for 2 years so this is definitely something I've not encountered before and not sure why it's happening?) Really enjoyed it before this issue started last month. I've moved onto another app for now.

I love this for manga I am already aware of but it doesn't tell you about them otherwise. So if you are looking for new manga to read it's best to research a manga you're interested in first before finding it in the app. Otherwise it is very easy to use and has a large selection of manga stored in it's "library". My biggest problem with the app is that there are some errors like chapter pages out of order or some pages untranslated, but for that you can quickly read the chapter online

The app is very simple to use, great experience. To make it better, I suggest to allow load next chapter after the last page, keep the zoom in of the previous page in the same chapter (every page you turn you have to re-zoom), give acess to the app options (for example, to disable to portrait-landscape auto rotation, ...). Besides this, one of the best apps. Definently 5 stars if improved!

This is the only manga app I've liked just for it's simplicity, the biggest problem I have is with the inability to lock in portrait or landscape mode. So I can lay down and read manga while on my side or whatever other scenario where you wanna read it without it flipping with your phone. Besides that it's gets the job done.

Very good app. It seems to be more stable about accessing the online manga repositories than competing apps. It also allows for local download so that you can read offline, which is nice. It's one downfall is that there are no filters, categories, descriptions, or cover art support to let you know what a manga is about. You just have to download the manga and see what it is.

It is pretty nice, since I'm really interested in manga... The only downside is, they're not really saved to the SD card, only in the Internal Storage... When i moved the chapters to the SD Card, the app deemed them unreadable; please give an option to download in SD card! My storage gets pretty stuffed up.... Either way, 5 stars for the user interface ^U^

Doesn't even work. Besides randomly closing, any search I did automatically turns it into a favorite. That was fine and all but after looking into my favorites list I could not even view the mangas I've added due to them requiring to be "refreshed". Even after taking a long time to wait for it to finish refreshing, nothing happens and it appears to be stuck on refreshing.

Probably one of the worst apps for manga. The only redeeming quality is that it allows for downloads. Some tips to help improve it? 1. Add a multi select option to delete or select more than one file. 2. Add a settings tab. Include a portrait lock function, scroll view feature for the chapters option, SD or internal storage option. So many things could be adjusted. 3. Add a swipe for next chapter or some kind of shortcut to go to the next chapter feature. Fix this and ratings would be higher!

I love how I can download the latest chapters and read them offline later!!! The app also allows you to zoom in when you need. I do wish the app has a lock tilt function when I turn sideways when I read in bed but doesn't hurt me. For manga that is not so popular, they do get wrong chapters loaded into the mix but with everything else, I don't mind.

Basically every manga is on here, even most of the obscure ones. I don't really have a problem with the app, although it would be nice if they could add a feature to the app where the manga doesn't auto rotate every time you turn the phone on its side :) Other than that, it's perfect!

I like the application. Overall i enjoyed it. I already downloaded it before in my old phone. There I can find options where I choose if it's in landscape or portrait but in my new phone (which is Oppo A5s that I'm using now), I can't find those options. I hope you can add a button for settings where all options for the app is there. It would be very handy and a big help for us readers. Thank you very much. I like this app for it's consistency and the fact that there's no ads to deal with. It's been around for awhile unlike other manga reader apps, so it's reliable in that way. However there is a lot of room for improvement. For example, I would like to at least be able to read a description before I favourite and download it, or even see a cover image. But overall, it gets the job done. So 4 stars from me. It's hassle free and it works.

This is really a good app. Downloading and updates of chapters of ongoing mangas is not a problem. What I do wish this app to have is a button to use when I want to read the next chapter of the manga I am currently reading. I also wish that it has a lock tilt. I also like the fact that this app can read webtoon. But the problem is that I am unable to scroll pages. Sometimes, pages were being cut so you can't see the whole image. But honestly, I am grateful that I stumbled into this app.

This is app is good for functionality but the main problem is the UI and the screen rotation feature, the UI need alot more "smoothness" to it in my opinion and it should be customizable in terms of colors and dark mode and light mode etc, the most annoying thing is the screen rotation, I'd suggest making it optional so that you dont accidentally rotate your screen while reading, but other than that its a really good app

I've had issues with using the app on the Samsung S10+. Even though the app is set to allow notifications for new chapters, I'm not getting them. I don't think the app is functioning properly in the Samsung S10+ but that is only my experience, unable to speak for others. Also it would be nice if the app would allow users to do a manga search by genre and completion priority.

It's a good app. I had either this one or a very similar one in 2014 when I was in high school and I loved it. The only concerning thing about this app is the rate at which it synthesizes its updated chapters. Hopefully I'm mistaken but it seems like a few series are behind on updates. Anyway, great app.

I would say that this app is the only manga app that has a broader collection of reads. I just have a problem with the functionalities of this app. In my older phone I'm able to long tap a key to feature some settings that can help to refresh every manga in my favorites. After I changed to my new phone, I'm unable to reach those features and had to refresh specific manga than the whole. Another thing is that it would be would be better if the app can sort manga by alphabet.

I used to adore this app, it let me find manga that wasn't available for me in other apps. But ever since I opened it today, it automatically closes and I can't use it at all. Restarting my device didn't help at all and it is causing immense frustration when I can't read my favorite series. If people can't even open the app without it shutting down, then that's a serious problem that needs to be fixed right away.

App is pretty solid my complaints are some chapters are the same page 2 times in a row for the entire chapter. Also every 6 months or so i have to delete the app and all of the chapters i have downloaded because the update/refresh button will not add anymore chapters. Example : One piece 945 will stay at chapter 945 for 2 months when i know there are more chapters than that. And sometimes the chapters are mixed up and or only 2 pages.

Okay well I like this app because, you can use it offline which is really nice but I honestly think you should take off the auto rotate screen thing you have on it because that's really annoying, like add a settings on the app and let's the user fix some stuff up if they have a problem with it and then I'd say it'll be a top notch app In my opinion.

Could use more features. Although this app is meant to be minimalistic, but please, not to the point where the settings/options menu is not present. Also, it would be great if we do not have to download every single chapter that we want to read beforehand, but use our internet connection to load the images instead.

This is a great app for reading manga with its minimalistic design it's just that i wish you can make it so that you can set it to portrait or landscape without it changing to the other when changing the position of the phone. Also add a scrolling reading style so that you can read manhwa and manhua easier
