Manga Universe - Free manga reader

It's pretty good. I have used better. It has a pretty good selection and it's options for reading are good as well. Some things i don't like about it are that it doesn't save your last place in the chapter. If you have to go out when you confer back you start the chapter over. Also often when moving between chapters several times it would lose connection and have to go out of the reading then select the next chapter. Another idea I would leave is providing a filter for new chapters.

I'm pretty sold on this. Good quality scans, the translations are decent with minimal misspellings or poor choice of word arrangement, and you have multiple sites that are searchable for different titles. 4 stars because It's not perfect, and i wish it had a suggestions section with manga similar to what you've been reading. Overall, i definitely suggest this. Almost all ads are skippable. I've yet to try it off wi-fi, I'm just giving the benefit of the doubt for that point.

I was not expecting such smooth functioning from it. Quite simple and easy to use. I have a few complaints but all together it's rather good. These complaints being not totally up to date with the chapters, searching for titles is sometimes a pain if you don't know the title in Japanese and downloading gets stuck every now and then. If you have stable connection during downloading non of the above is much of an issue.

Haven't used it for long but so far it's great! Large selection of sources, search by genre, teaches you how to navigate the app, multiple ways the read. Do have 2 problems however. The first is when using waterfall at the end of some chapters it skips ahead by a bunch of pages in the next chapter sometimes. Second issue is that ads disable my audio in favor of their audio even when they dont have audio. Every ad stops my music, then i gotta start it up again. Other then that it's been a joy :)

Pretty good. The ads aren't intrusive but it doesn't tell me when new chapters arrive, I have to check each Manga one by one Edit: as soon as i made this review, most of the ads became unskippable video ads, so the app goes down to one star Edit 2: it is now impossible to get out of a chapter without seeing two 30 sec ads. It's faster to just close the app. I would give it less than 1 star if I could

This app is one of the better manga apps, has a wide selection and everything runs smoothly. It would be awesome if there could be some sort of update system to notify when something you have favorited releases the next chapter. I am perfectly fine with ads but these unskippable , fullscreen video ads that last upwards of 30 seconds sometimes are just too much. Would pay for premium version or just normal ads would not be as intrusive.

It's pretty great. The few problems I have with it are things that are easy to understand why they're there. Like the ads, although they do pop up quite frequently. Another thing is that (for obvious reasons) the translations on a some mangas are unofficial translations. In most the main message is the same as the official, just different phrasing, but in a few they are completely different and make no sense. This issue can be skipped over by switching to a different server so it's passable.

Good afternoon interface, diverse sources, and very up to date. All that stuff is good and well, but there are some things that do put this a bit lower for me. First, there's no way to search your favorites, which makes things very tedious to look for an update. Second, there's no way of knowing if a manga's been updated, though that might be more difficult to deal with. So my recommendation would be to add a search bar for the favorites menu, and maybe have a different layout too.

This app is amazing, that's for sure but it has a lot of technical difficulties like it shows a lot of ads which is rather irritating, a lot of gaps, that's why a lot of mangas, such as those freeflow(is that what you call it?) Ones, are hard to read, there heads or bodies that are cut, even those callouts are cut which makes it hard to read, and last but not the least some mangas don't progress in their downloads, they just stop and not download at all.

I havent navigated many manga apps but this one is pretty decent. Quite crude in navigation though. I accidentally hit the download button and cancelled it but anytime I reopen the app, it asks to restart download. That and there is no way I've found that you can save a manga to a queue for viewing later with out having to search for it again. Other than that, there are many options for manga. Mainly downloaded this to read tokyo ghoul

App is really great due to how it has a lot of the manga that I read that other apps sometimes don't have. Only issue I have with it is the ads popping up whenever I'm reading or when I'm trying to pick something else to read. It is really annoying and there should be an in-app purchase to stop these ads from coming up.

The app has an unparalleled user interface that's fantastic to use, but the ads are far more intrusive than other manga reading apps as well. Full screen video ads pop up frequently. It's up to you whether the ui is worth it, and I'd somewhat recommend checking out the app. But I find the ads far too intrusive to make it worth it.

The app has alot of function. It's satisfying. It shows very little ads. Function properly. Has alot of sources and hence a lot of manga. But it lacks in the option department. Also it's loading time is quite high in a few cases. The UI is not very good. But overall, nothing experience ruining.

I really do enjoy this app, it's easy to use and navigate and find it good enough for a subscription . That being said I am having a problem with Manga downloading extremely slow or not at all, on top of that the app randomly crashes constantly. If the addressed problems are fixed I'd say it would be a perfect app imo

It does have the manga I needed, and I could navigate and use the systtem just fine, but I can't give a 5-star rating. There are ads that replace certain pages in the manga, and it's incredibly jarring to have to read through them. It may just be the source I'm using, but having 4 ads in a row is just ridiculous.

Overall its a decent manga app with access to good servers, smooth pagination, and easy-to-use interfaces. The only thing I really don't like is that there is NO way to save downloaded manga to an SD card vs. internal storage. Unless your phone has has ton of space internally, your phone can all too quickly fill up with downloads.

App overall is really good came across a few problems such as at the end of some mangas there is a huge amount of screens showing that there has been a connection error. Something to consider for a future update would be signs that tell you when a manga has a new chapter as there is no way to tell if a manga has been updated. Plus getting a notification would be amazing too I have used other apps before this and none of them had notifications. But all has signs to say a manga has been updated.

ONE BUG HOLDING IT BACK I love this app, it runs smoothly and has heaps of manga and even some manwha on here. The interface and download system is simple as well, however I am constantly encountering a bug where there will be certain chapters from different manga that WILL NOT download. It doesn't matter how many times I retry the download it just won't work. It's super frustrating and is keeping this at 3 stars for me. Please fix this bug and I'll give the app 4 or even 5 stars

Very good! I've been struggling to find a manga app for android that's both easy to use and to my liking. This fulfills both of those wishes. There are ads, sure, but that's typical of a manga app. Sometimes the chapters take a bit to load, but once they do, they're usually fully loaded, so you won't have to wait for pages to load after you've already started reading the chapter.

So far better than other manga apps. I like how it is set up and the variety as well as being able to search through multiple servers for the correct and up to date manga if one doesnt have it. The only thing I have yet to see is a notification letting me know when one of my favorites getting a new episode. I have to have a different app and wait for that to show.

It's a great app to read manga but there are 2 drawbacks for me. First, there are way too many ads in the free version. Like everyother chapter you have one. Sometimes after every chapter. Second and most importantly, you don't know if the manga you bookmarked has been updated. Otherwise, great app.

It's a good app for everyone who wants to read manga ect. Maybe adding a notification when a new chapter is realised could be helpful. Got some issues about the loading screen on the main page where "latest released" is. Images would take forever to load or don't even load, maybe is only a issue for Mangaeden. Pls for the "categories" fix the same issue and put a search tab or put more tag that can be selected

Seems to work pretty well for me, don't really care about ads so they aren't an issue. Sometimes I find a manga without a description which is annoying but 8 times out of 10 I can find the manga again through another source with a description so it's not horrendous. It would be cool if there was a way of knowing when the last episode of a manga was uploaded to know how recent it is and if it is ongoing or not. But overall I love this app, so 5 stars. :)

This is a wonderful app to use for browsing manga. I have a wide variety that I go through and read and they managed to have them all. With the multiple sources to search through, you can always find great quality scans and translations. The only two issues I have found so far, is that 1) some chapters will refuse to load. 2) I haven't gotten any notifications about when new manga chapters arrive for those I am caught up in. Definitely recommend this app to anyone who reads manga.

The app works fine. It's the LITERAL translations that are awful!!!!! People who keep translating, need not be so literal. It makes for a very difficult read. When translating, one must convey the thought, not the literal word-for-word style. I guess that's what makes it free. You have to read crappy translations.

It's a good app and it does what it's suppose to do yet I am giving it a 1 star review for the simple reason of the stupid forced video adds you might be just looking around and all of a sudden a video add of 30 second start playing with sound!! I understand having to have some adds but don't make it forced video adds that's are freaking loud! Please make it normal adds. I would not recommended this app to a friend
