Easy to manipulate pages and to see articles as laid out in paper copy. Easy to be sure that I have not missed any items that I might have wanted to read. Allows me to manipulate edition in a number of ways to access articles in the most convenient way for me at that particle time... Sometimes i just want to read the paper front to back and sometimes I am looking for specific information or highlights.
I updated with the newest app and. have had many problems. Pages freeze and the app needs to be restarted about 5 times while reading 1 paper. When I finally want to exit the paper, it keeps trying to restart it. Not Happy! The older app worked much better.
Works well. Marks downloaded editions making it easy to tell which ones I've looked at, and has a limit count that can be changed for how many offline versions to keep
Updated is always having errors. Old version didn't have to ever uninstall and reinstall. It takes 3 or more times reinstalling for it to work again.
The page dissapears before I can finish one article! I don't know why the app was changed, it worked fine before.
Too many bugs! Only way to get past the problems is to uninstall then reinstall.
it works pretty good, occasionally a hiccup but not any more than any other app out there
Works well. It's nice to keep up with local news when I'm out of town.
a lot better than our local paper in Fairmont the Fairmont Sentinel with chance hardly anything in it
Very helpful keeping up on local news for me.
Nice to have during all this crazy time
OMG!!! PUT OUT 2 PAPERS 📃A WEEK!! Then charge $$$$$accordingly!!!
Always works for me.
Still some bugs to fix! Sometimes it won't automatically log you in when you have it checked to do so. Sometimes it won't even open the app and the only way to fix it is to uninstall and then reinstall. Which I've done several times. For a paid app, more is expected!
Worst app I have. Hard to understand how it operates. When you click on a story, there is nothing there.
Free Press App is the worst app that I pay for!
When my Tab4 upgraded to 5.1.1 Free Press app required an update. Since then I cannot read entire e-newspaper on the tablet. I reinstalled app several times, had the newspaper reset the account. Think there is a bug in it.
Crashes all of the time. I wonder if it is just on the galaxy s5 or if others are having the same issue.
Wish the focus of the news stories would be on local, other than that app works. App not as cluttered as home page, so that is a plus.
I like getting both local and national news. I think the new app is great! Having to subscribe (and pay) to view full content used to bother me but I subscribe to several publications and it`s just the way it`s done now.
This is really a great way to read just the stories you are interested in. Just scroll down A+
Only 5 free articles? I knew there was a reason I deleted this app the first time and the second/last time.
Love the new app
Love it
This app doesn't provide full access to the Free Press but they now demand a subscription after a certain number of articles. As I clicked through the site to use my number of articles several of them refused to load but they still counted. I went from enjoying this app to strongly disliking it. I suggest KEYC and The Journal (still both free, for now) as better news sources. Uninstalling this app now.
Had this app for a long time but after 19 articles (which don't always load) it requires a fee. I too went to the KEYC app instead
Great app. I subscribe to the morning paper and this is great when I don't get me a chance to read it before I run out the. Also helps me to keep abreast of local news when I am out of town.
They only allow 20 free articles so once those run out I uninstall the ap and then download it again to start over with 20 more free articles. I would never pay for this ap.
I had this app for months on my phone and it was free to use, now after reading 19 articles it wants money! What a joke I'm taking someone's review advice and downloading KEYC app
I didn't realize how well this would work on my cell phone, but am completely satisfied. I like it especially because during the day at work I don't have access to a computer, so I still get the full news in the same time and same functionality.
