Mankutimmana Kagga
- one of the most renowned poets the Kannada language has ever seen. The application contains all 945 verses with the essence translated in English by Prashanth Kota. It also consists of simple kannada word-to-word meaning and essence in Kannada taken from “Kagga Rasadhare” series by Ravi Tirumalai.
Mankutimmana Kagga, can be translated to English as "Dull Thimma's rigmarole" has an esteemed position in the hearts and minds of the Kannada speaking populace all over the world. Sometimes it is regarded as the Bhagavadgeethe(this being the holy scripture for Hindus) of Kannada.
This application is an attempt to make available this literary treasure to a whole new generation which is used to consuming knowledge that comes through their hand held smart phones. The application is unique with the following features:

It's a fantastic app with a lot of information. But the 'dinakkondu kagga' feature doesn't seem to work properly. I'd love to read one everyday, but tend to forget most of the times. If that works perfectly, it's a brilliant app! I thank the developers and the resource persons for coming up with this app for publicizing Kagga.
I have been using this app from quite sometime now. 5 starts is not sufficient to express how happy I am with this app. First of all, every verse of Kagga is so meaningful and we can not be thankful enough for DVG, such a great man he was. The developers have done a great job to convey the meaning of every verse as accurately as possible. The kannada friendly interface with translation and transliteration to English makes it a great app overall!
Every person who understands Kannada must have this. In simple yet striking concepts DVG's kagga hits you like a arrow straight into the heart. My utmost respects and best wishes to the person who developed this app. Seems like developer has taken kagga's theme seriously that he made it simple and elegant. Their the translation of Kaggas are bang-on. Some still need to be worked on. But the bookmark option, kagga a day feature, seamless Kannada and English translation options are really cool. Their updates too are really based on customers feedback and technically relevant to the app.
Absolutely wonderful app to read through the Kagga. The interface is intuitive and features are all that are required for anyone to read and understand the verses.

I found exactly what I was looking for! It gives very detailed explanation of kagga's both in English and Kannada, and it can easily understood by everyone. Great work by developers and publishers. Going forward, you can think of adding audio clip to each kagga.
Great app with explanations given in both Kannada and English. But the share feature does not work making it very inconvenient if I want to share some good poems with someone. Would expect the developers to fix this ASAP.

Thanks for your excellent work. Hats off for this work. I have one suggestion: Is it possible to categorize or organize based on topics. Also if possible options to add our own tags to each Kaggas.
So far the best one I have come across on Kagga. Best in all respects as it gives transliteration, explanation, ....for each of the verses. Easy explanation is easy to understand.

Love the app. Its refreshing to see effort being taken to make such an important text accessible for users who do not have a strong hold over the language. The supporting tools provided in the app were exactly what I needed to help me go through the text. Noticed a bug while trying to share a kagga (just failed to do so), thought I'll let you guys know. Also I extensively use google translate while going through the individual kagga to get the pronunciation right. Just a thought incase you guys want to consider having the feature inbuilt to the app.
