Well the original camera app that came with the Android 8.1 phone has manual settings for contrast, shutter speed, ISO, macro photo, and white balance. This app says that this phone does not support any manual settings. Hmmmm!
My camera supports all of those features except Raw image. But this shows cross in each of the test. This app makes no sense at all.
My phone has support for all manual settings except RAW image, but, this app shows that my device doesn't support manual settings at all.
It's a simple app, perfect for people who just want to confirm that their Camera2 API enable worked.
Does exactly as mentioned. This is to check camera2api access , yes your default camera might support those features but this helps tell of your manufacturer allows other camera apps to do the same.
lollipop camera api isn't used for oreo android phones. this is the reason it's failing. please check for android docs and improve your app. MI phones are never considered a phone but they do have all features of flagships
Incorrect detection. My Nokia 5.1 plus clearly supports shutter speed in pro mode with ISO and manual focus too. This app does not show correct detection.
Exceptionally helpful application on play store for smartphone photographers. It answers whether I will be able to do use Google Camera for my smartphone photography.
my phone has manual settings and i use it but this app says it does not have. that means this app does not work properly. my phone is vivo y91
i everyday use my manual mode in camera app - shutter speed, iso , white balance etc. but this app says my vamera doesnt support manual mode at all!!! on my xiaomi MI A2
Another fail, shows no support on a phone with support.
This app says my camera does not support anything. But my camera does. It supports Manual ISO, FOCUS and shutter speed.
All are green. Inspite of that, Google Camera 8.2 is not compatible with my device Oppo A53, google play store is saying that.
this app is such a waste... i have mi a2.. which has manual mode ... through which u can do so many things... but this app says u cant even adjust brightness manually ππ
some recent camera apps like Open Camera support iso, white balance, hdr, etc, but it doesn't support pause-resume
App shows pixel6 is compatible but the program keeps crashing
For those that say their phone can do this or that but app says cannot. This app uses Camera2Api which is what it tests for, normal stock camera app uses diffrent stuff.
Fastest and easiest way to check camera2api status, for people who don't know what's"camera2api" is ; first go & know what's camera 2api is.
Simple and easy test to check Camera2api support for android
Unfortunately my phone is not supported but thank you for providing this quick and easy check!
Works very well, Dev, you need to change the app name to "Google Camera Compatibility" π
I had to rate this app because of all the clueless people hating on it because their default camera has manual mode.
something is really wrong with this app i am using a mi mix 2 and this phone has manual camera settings in this but this app is telling me its not
won't work with higher versions of Android at least Android nougat S7 is totally incompatible
It does not separate results as per every available camera, so not much of use.
Got a disclaimer saying it is made for older versions of Android. Worked perfectly
this application is only for that person which is want know about his phone "Camera to api " is enable β or not β ***** it's give u info that u are applicable to install third party manual control camera or not.....
This app said my device is not compatible with any manual settings at all. I'm not sure my device has RAW support, but with the devices default camera app, I am definitely able to control focus, white balance, ISO, and shutter speed to take amazing photos, so this reading is extremely inaccurate.
