Not sure what you did, however most of the time it takes multiple tried to even load it, then it sends a one time code every time it does load. Need to go to your buddies at otip and rtip for pointers. Works well for basic needs, should be able to remember multiple plans without need to input them seperately each time. ie wife and I have separate employers/plans both with manulife. Like bank apps should be able to remember multipul accts than only need to select proper one and input password.
Doesn't work properly, contacted their team to resolve the issue, agent told me that she will escalate to their technical department and even though I got proper assistance from their support team members who were friendy and helpful the result is frustrating as the app still have issues: unable to properly proceed with a claim. Gave it a 2 star rating though for the support agent's help and balance info when using app. Finally decided to uninstall it
So many bugs. Biometrics loops to regular login page. Inscription uses password manager but login doesn't. Most features redirect to the website. Remember me doesn't work. I added my info on the website yet I am still veing told there is missing info on the app. The card cannot be added to Google Pay. Nothing works.....
1 star because I can't log on anymore. For over 2 weeks now after I log in it asks to agree the the term, after agreeing it says 'sorry, something went wrong' this has been occurring for the last two weeks, since Manulife seems to be so problematic for providers to submit claims directly the only option is for me to submit manually, I would like to submit my claims, pleas fix the issue.
Won't let me into my group benefits, everytime I try it says "something went wrong try again later". It doesn't matter if I uninstall the app, sign in, wait a day, try to go in at various times, nothing works and no place to report the problem.
The app doesn't remember your password, so you either need a weak and easy to remember one or a password manager. Oh, but the password manager in android can't autofill this password. I don't want to type when I open the app, I want to quickly open it and show the pharmacist my info.
The app will not allow me to make a claim before adding all the information that, of course, I've already added while creating my ID! So is there a way to do that through the app??? Not that I can find. Well designed people! Your app is functionally useless.
Multiple tries with this App on S10 Samsung, and it's just an exercise in frustration. Luckily my girlfriend was able to install the app on her iPhone and it works well there.
Doesn't work. Always glitches. Everytime i sign in, it says "something has gone wrong". Very frustrating.
Very confusing and won't allow you to do anything but look at your statement. For example on my ig wealth management app. I can see my.investments I can send or receive paperwork. I can switch if I want too. And all flawlessly. This one iam always having to change my password. I am of the experience that everywhere you go in this company is full of roadblocks very unhappy experiences. Glad I didn't transfer my money over to this company when the union joined.
This is the most unstable app in the history of technology. One would then wonder what Manulife does with the billions it makes. In 2021, the earnings attributable to their shareholders was in excess of $7bn. What then would it cost to have an app that actually works fluidly? Why does it take so long to get a dental estimate? Why is it so long to reach customer service? Why can't they employ more agents? I'm just miffed by these insurance companies.
This app is really quite horrible, it almost as if it was designed to frustrate. After attaching a document to an expense claim it does not allow you to continue as the next button doesn't come on. Not only is the app clumsy and poorly designed/functioning its simply an extinsion of Manulife itself, there's no one to talk to, nothing gets resolved. I've dealt with many different companies while none are perfect they were at least workable. Manulife is a gong show like none other 😖😩
HORRIBLE!! The app tries to be modern in comparison to the grouo benefits but is horribly slow and dim witted. It takes over a minute just for it to login. The app would often freeze and respond very slowly. EDIT: after manulife ID was introduced its completely broken. Doesn't work at all and keeps saying something went wrong. Even the call centre says its the app and directs you to use the website.
Not able to connect to my account, now for 5 months, always get an error message, no option.
App does not have customary amount mentioned a small feature which can help customer save lot of trouble...rude call center agent
Fingerprint scanner set up but failed to work in subsequent logins. I have problems with Manulife bumping me out randomly every time I try to submit a claim. Very buggy. I've had some success with using it, but it's really hit and miss. Frustrated with unpredictable behaviour - you never know when something is going to go wrong and the app just forgets all the info you just tried to enter.
Absolute and total garbage. Painfully slow. Each step of filling out form might end up being a 10 to 30 second delay if it doesn't end up freezing and you have to start over from the beginning. As you select an option from a picklist, you get a spinning circle while it figures out what to do. It can take several minutes to get through a simple menu of options. Plus, I spent 30 minutes trying to log in today repeatedly with "Unexepected Error" every time. Still can't even get into my account details. Not what I'd expect from such a big company. Honestly, I'd just phone them. The website and the app are both a serious waste of time.
Takes multiple tries to login. Constantly says can't connect to server. Doesn't matter if you're on wifi or LTE network. Very frustrating app. I must say though, once you actually do get access it provides all the information you need. But the constant 3-10 tries to login is extremely frustrating. I will continue using the website instead.
EXTREMELY SLOW. almost always kicks me out everytime I go to submit a claim and when I re-open it indicates it can't find the page I was just on. This causes me to have to restart the app. Sometimes this happens several times. Aweful app experience. One of the worst. Wish my work went with someone else.
WHEN it works, it works lol... But most of the time there will be some kind of error that prevents me to submit my claim using this apps. And it never worked for me to attach any supporting documents. If I simply want to view previous claimed amount, or even to search up a drug with its DIN, it's a simple and fast way to do so. But really, the submission function almost never worked. I was lucky enough to have it worked maybe a few times in the past years. I gave the two stars for those times when I truly experienced how convenient it could be to submit a claim just like that with an app lol...makes it all the more disappointing when it doesn't work :(
Ever since the upgrade the whole app is just useless. The option of submitting the amount covered by the other insurance company is gone. It constantly glitches, and, if submitting a claim later in the evening, it won't show the saved providers at all or won't even find them. Have to use a laptop in order to submit claims, so inconvenient since I have several claims during the week to submit for my family on the go. I've already made 3 phone complaints since last November. No improvements done
Update is horrible. I used to be able to sign in with my biometric fingerprint. I now have to enter sign in credentials manually. I followed the instructions by the developer and it still doesn't work. I selected finger print sign in and then signed off. I still had to sign in manually and instead it tried to detect my irises. After selecting 'cancel', I am now caught in loading 'loop' where the app cannot load. I will uninstall the app again.
Absolute garbage. You create an account on their website and get directed to download the app, which then directs you to create another, completely different account, which you then link to the first account, just so that you can log in to the app, because these morons can't even figure out how to do a simple sign in process. Then you get into the app, and finally you can actually try to submit a claim... Only you can't. Because "that feature is offline right now." Utterly useless.
Needs to be re worked. An older version I had around summer let me see remaining balance on services. Now I get an update saying that this version has that feature but now it no longer functions properly. Why change things when they work? Annoyed. But would be great feature if it worked properly. I think issue is with how Manulife sets up accounts. My wifes works fine but not sure if shes updated app. Hopefully they get it working next time around
Terrible experience, app updated and not able to use any of my old logins. Experienced numerous issues when trying to set up accounts which I've had for years. Here's a thought Manulife, when you go to change things why don't you actually give people some notice and perhaps what we need to do to so we don't get locked out of your account which is exactly where I'm at now. If I didn't actually have to use this app it wouldn't be on my phone.
Absolutely trash app. Crashes constantly especially if you are trying to submit more than one claim. It then offers to continue the claim when you reload the app, with half the information missing and unable to actually edit anything. Does not allow you to see balances, despite that being a tab (it just comes up blank).

If I could, I'd rate it at 0. This was once an amazing app. Not sure what you did, but I am no longer able to access my group benefits after setting up my ID. Tried connecting my group benefits, but keeps failing. "Sorry, something went wrong. Try again later" is the consistent message. Brutal!!
