The monthly subscription costs USD 5.99 per month while the yearly subscription costs USD 29.99 per year or USD 2.50 per month. Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. There is no increase in cost when renewing.
Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off on wallet.google.com and click on ‘Update or cancel your subscription’ on the Transactions page after purchase. Once purchased, the current period cannot be cancelled. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited if you choose to purchase a subscription to MVP.

Will not sync with my fitnesspal
I use this for my walking and find it invaluable to assess my achievements.
I love this app. It not only records all the relevant data we want but I love being able to see where I hiked on a map. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of paid features. In my opinion they can afford to give us a free app including all the features. Especially for all the money we spend on under armor attire and gear as it is. But aside from my own irrational annoyances with the business model, GREAT APP. 😊

Very good app. Have been using it since 2013. However I don't have any friends on this so I can't share and compete with anyone. I wish there were some public communities that I could join.
It would be nice if it didn't ask me "how was your run" in an app called Map my Hike. But other than that it's great.
Likes to fail when I paddle so I stopped using it for that. Just for walking now.
I like this app. It has just enough flexibility and info for my purpose. I also like being able to synch it with the Under Armor calorie tracker.
I have been using this app for years and I love it! It even helped me when I got lost in the woods. I would highly recommend this app.
It important to follow the TRAIL markings. I Got lost LOL Loved the walk.

I've been using this app for several years. I paid for the app in the beginning. After a few years some of the app functions were taken away and I was given the option to buy them back. I was not impressed by that.
GPS is accurate and reliable
Map My Hike and the other 'Map My' apps run very slowly on my device. After a few weeks they give up running entirely and I have to uninstall and then reinstall them. Honestly, if there was another app that does the same thing, I would have changed over long ago.

Great hiking app
Disappointed. Not like it used to be. Something's changed since upgrading to Galaxy S7 Edge and to Android 6.0.1--I don't know which change is the culprit and haven't tried debugging it yet. But, annoyingly, while taking my hike, the app frequently went into Pause mode while I was still walking at a brisk pace. The Bike app and Hike app as I've previously used them worked great. I'll bring my rating up once I figure out if the app is the problem or something about the new OS/phone.
I paid for the premium app, now it's not working, with no alternative.
