My first time using Maple was to aquire a lab requisition to test for a recurring infection. I was able to speak with a doctor within 3 minutes and he provided a requisition right away for me to download. This saved me hours of time that I would have otherwise spent waiting in a walk-in clinic. This type of online health care is ideal for a clear diagnosis like mine as it did not require an in person appointment. I highly recommend the app and Dr. Daly is fantastic!
When I start to type a minimum of about 100 characters, the App lags and freezes to the point it doesn't want to work and I have to close it. UPDATE YOUR APP TO NEW SOFTWARE FOR COMPATIBILITY WITH THE NEW MOBILE DEVICES! VERY frustrating!!
Regarding the app only- So so so VERY SLOW and the fingerprint option doesn't work. Not only that, you can't disable it once you've given it permission at the start. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app just so I could say no to fingerprint :(
App just puts up a page about covid and there is no option to choose your issue. Found out that Maple was not linked correctly to my benefits provider. With the help of Maple support, the issue was fixed so I have changed my review.
The app constantly logs you out, even though it says it's fine if you leave the screen (it's not). You can wait hours to speak to a doctor only to be canceled last second because they have too high of wait times. They're also not operational on weekends or holidays because apparently people can choose when they need a doctor. Absolute garbage
I was a loyal user to this application for years and have spoken highly about it to all of my friends and family... until recently. I submitted a request to see a doctor for a simple blood work requisition (the standard one, nothing fancy) and was denied immediately - twice! I will utilize another service who will be able to assist me going forward. Super unfortunate!
Excellent. Loved skipping the waiting room and waiting for them to open when I'm feeling unwell, and letting my infection get worse. App is easy to use and straightforward.
I was excited when I saw there was a yearly family plan, and wanted to see if Blue Cross would be able to cover at least some of it, as I saw on their website that they were talking about and promoting Maple. When I signed in with my Medavie Blue Cross account, I was pretty upset to find they offered a measly 5$ discount... AND the option to pay for a yearly subscription was no where to be seen, as if they had removed it when I signed in with my Bluecross account.
Signing up was a seamless experience, and I was able to talk with a doctor within half an hour and get a prescription a few moments later. The design is also extremely clear and easy to use. I can't think of a better process for a medical app.
The health professional I dealt with was extremely inexperienced and had no interest in actually discussing the underlying problems and symptoms I was experiencing, I simply received a list of pre-made questions which asked nothing in depth about my issue and how it had been evolving. Once they saw a photo they made a diagnosis and there was no more discussing the issue. Although I've only had one appointment, the app seems to be just an attempt to get as many patients through as possible.
Very convenient, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The app tells you exactly how much waiting time is left and contacts you.
I am really happy with this app. I have had no problems. I've been able to connect with a doctor in usually less than 20 minutes and I've been able to get my prescriptions renewed/refilled the same day. I definitely recommend this app!
My doctor takes weeks to get into because he is so busy. This app is great because I have random skin issues and allergies that pop up that need help now. It's so great to get to talk to a doctor and get a prescription within minutes. Thank you!
Would not recommend if your medical problem will involve a specialist or referral. If you were referred to a specialist, then dont even bother wasting your time and energy anymore. You're better off going to a walkin clinic.
Horrible app. Wait time indicates 20 mins, end up waiting for more than 1 hour only to be informed to see a walk-in clinic... No questions asked no chat at all whatsoever. Resubmitted another request, the wait time was accurate until the last two mins, 30 mins after it's still showing as 2 mins... Very disappointing.
I can get an appointment in less then 10 min, and the doctor I spoke too wasn't rushing to a conclusion. The appointment was for my kid and I felt the doctor and I communicated very well. I recommend this app/service.
Had a terrible feedback issue during a video chat that made it unusable, had to use the phone. The app itself is quite glitchy, tapping items takes about three seconds to register, keys aren't where you'd expect them to be or don't work. I've been trying to end a consultation for about an hour now but there is no OK button. However, I have been charged, and can't find my receipt. There is incredible potential here and I'm excited to see it reached.
Very bad experience, unable.to.speak to a practioner. I'm unable to walk and the Docto can't even go online. I've never had this experience with Maple. It's a first. SMH
I think this app can help me even I haven't tried to use Maple - 24/7 Online. Just from the ad, I noticed the remarks on the use of amocicillin that is good for me. Hopefully this can heal my problems.
Can't get past the welcome to maple screen because it won't register taps making your phone be the latest technology to use the app makes this very inaccessible to many Canadians
The app does not work. I've installed, uninstalled, and updated, and every time I open it, I get the "Welcome to maple" popup. This popup is unresponsive and cannot be closed, rendering the app unusable
